  • Alana Jo--YAY! You're doing so well, and I knew you would get outta that slump!

    I'm doing "okay", except for like Julz...TOM is here for me too...BLAH! I woke up with a KILLER headache this morning. Just to give you an idea of how bad it was...I have given birth to two children without drugs, and didn't shed a tear. I was bawling my eyes out from my headache this morning. It was TERRIBLE.

    Anyways, I'm not too bloated yet, so hopefully it will stay that way so I can have a loss on Monday. I was 216 this morning, and it would be GREAT to keep the bloat away and be able to change my ticker to 215 on Monday!

  • Glad I'm not the only one who set a big weight loss goal. Don't know what I was thinking when I guesstimated that I could lose 3lbs a week .
    Now that I've been hanging around 254 to 251 for so long, I'm beginning to wonder if I can even get below 250lbs! I've updated my signature to show I'm shooting for 249lbs.

    There have been so many accomplishments during this round of TBL it's great to watch all of the milestones and to have the support!

    I'm stuck right at 249 now. I know I need to kick it up a notch, I will say however that I am still thrilled to be below 250 (even though that can fluctuate throughout the week).

  • Good morning team! I saw such a great number on the scale yesterday, but today it's gone again for no reason. Oh well, it'll come back again sometime soon. I refuse to make myself crazy about it.

    Hope everyone's weigh in brings them good numbers.

  • Hello!! Just checking in to see how everyones weekend went. I did so good, I am so proud of myself. Not just for this week but this whole challenge!!
    I went to the winery for our company Christmas party, the food wasn't too bad, small portions at least. We had a small salad to start with, then a small breast of chicken with maranara sauce on top, beef tips with mushrooms and egg noodles, and steamed veggies. I did not finish anything. For desert there was some kind of white chocolate moose in a wine glass, I only had about 2 bites of it, not a whole lot of flavor plus it was warm. I did indulge and had 2 glasses of wine, a blackberry wine and an ice wine, very good! I then went out with my friends and had a few beers, but that didn't seem to effect me any on my weigh in. So I was very pleased!!
    Now tonight I have another Christmas party and we are going to the Olive Garden, so as long as I can keep the breadsticks away for myself I think I will be okay!!
    Only one more week you guys!! I am sad but excited at the same time! Hope everyone has a great night!!

    So sorry I've been missing the last couple of days. The hubby and I (and the kiddos) went to Arkansas on Saturday. My brother is turning 40 tomorrow so we had a surprise party for him on Sunday. It was the first time that all of my siblings have been together for nearly a year! It was SO fun.... until we all got the stomach flu! My mother-in-law had it and I guess we've all passed it around to each other. So, we spent all of last night getting up every hour or so with the runs.... ewwwwww.... hubby finally threw up last night and that relieved his stomach. I felt nauseous all night and all today on the drive home. I haven't thrown up though. Just cleared myself out the other end. No fun at all!!!!

  • Well Julz, there is one good thing about intestinal distress - it's a friend of the weekly weigh-in!! lol Hope you are feeling better. And yes - I have signed up!! Can't wait - esp with the new season starting so soon!

    LOL, this is what I said too. I ate Birthday cake and all other kinds of "naughty" foods (all in moderation of course) - and I got home, got on the scale... and actually have come down in weight since I weighed in on Friday...lol

  • Hi everyone!

    I'm a little bummed. My leg has been hurting, and I have NO idea why. It's not a muscle, at least I don't think so, but it's really getting in the way of my workouts. I can only work on it for about 30 minutes before I have to stop because it gets to hurting so bad.

    Anyways...13 days until I leave for Las Vegas! I'm nervous, excited...but most of all, self-conscious. *sigh*
  • Cassie, don't sweat the trip to Vegas. You will have a great time. You are at the same weight I was at when I went last year. Just visualize yourself going and having a blast with your friends. Think positive thoughts about yourself. In fact, look how far you have come - you should be strutting your stuff on this trip!!!! You look amazing

    Thanks so much, and I know that you're right! I have this fear that I'll get up there and be surrounded by super model types, lol..but dang, I've lost 73lbs, and I deserve to have a great time. I'm suuuper excited!
