Well, I had to weigh in today, 'cause I'm going to be home for the weekend...I only showed a 2 pound drop. Oh well...maybe next week I'll be back to where I started. I was hoping to post a bigger number! I'll just have to keep up my workouts, keep watching my food and hope my body cooperates by dropping some fat!

On the bright side, my pants are starting to look/feel okay again. I'm not afraid to wear them for fear of muffin-top anymore :D

Azure...way to go with the 2lbs....any loss is a good loss!! You must be losing inches aswell...feels great doesn't it!?!

I have eaten my quota for the day....chinese food compliments of our principal today. It will be a nice light salad and a fruit smoothie for dinner.
The weather is fairly cool here today...very fall-like. I might be able to get a good walk in tonight.

Sorry to have been MIA, bluesies . . . have been living in Toothache **** . . . several rounds of antibiotic later, I am now residing in Vicodin Heaven!:p . . . which unfortunately isn't doing much to help Blue Team OR myself!:(

Finally a chance to check in! Foods been good for me since Tuesday and now I just need to get through the weekend. Have a 12 mile (yikes!) hike planned w/friends tomorrow but might not go. Its so sad but I can think of so many reasons not to. Either way, will get in plenty of exercise this weekend so I can have a couple drinks with friends. Kitten Update: she's doing well, seems healthy (eating, sleeping, pooping regularly) and is so pathetic(in a cute way),when she curls up she fits in the palm of my hand!

Aud - Hope your tooth ache stays away with the Vicodin! My moms got the same situation right now, infected tooth, waiting for a root canal, shes miserable too :(

Azure - Congrats on the 2 lbs! I know you hoped for more but 2 lbs is great and with all that exercise you've been getting in you're sure to have a good loss next week too, keep up the good work!

Dea - Mmmm Chinese food, cant remember the last time I had it! Sounds like you have a solid plan to balance it out for the evening though :)

Hello Blues!

The weather is beautiful here today...sunny and brisk. I think we are going to do a bit of shopping today. I managed to make it through my headache yesterday and was able to do my hour on the treadmill. Since we're going out today, I may be taking today as my rest day...we'll have to see. The scales are treating me nicely, so I want to workout if possible(who is this crazy woman?!)

Tx for the well wishes all & tell your Mom I'm thinking about her denice - I've had root canals b4 but never have suffered like this!:( Just when I think the pain has kind of levelled off to where I can stand it - ZING - it's back in a different way.:( No way can I make it to the 22nd like this - calling both dentists Monday morning.

Have to also report I'm logging a +2 gain.:(

I am so sorry. On my son's first birthday, I had the same thing. I would be out with everyone at the party, then I would hide in the garage and cry. The pain would subside, and I would be the beaming mom, then off to the garage again. I could not take the good meds either, b/c I was still nursing.

To wait that long when you are in this much pain is unreasonable. My dentist was not able to get me in, so I called DH's orthodondist and asked for a reference. As soon as I mentioned his name, the other dentist got me in the next afternoon.

I hope you get relief in the next few days!

Just dropping in really fast to say hi and I'm 49 days OP!!! :dancer:

I'm down 2 lbs! At 220 and that's with TOM getting here yesterday! I didn't even gain the usual 5 lbs I do b4 I start this time! Yay! I guess it's bc I haven't allowed myself to indulge in the fat, sugar and salt that I usually crave. I'm progressing!!!!! And that puts me with 15 lbs down since we all started the challenge! :cb:

I'm still trying to drink more water and I haven't had as much time for exercise as I'd like but at least I'm still losing. I do SOME exercise 7 days a week, whether toning, walking, squats or a combo of them. That way I NEVER forget what I'm doing.

I want to take an extra 2 minutes to share this too. I had read these 7 statements by Dr. Peale and he'd said to write them down and put them where u'll read them several times a day. Here they are in case any of you would like to try it. I have them written on an index card in green to match my kitchen and I stuck them flat in the middle of my kitchen window so I read them over and over throughout the day since they are in front of my face at the sink. LOL! I hope they help you too. I'm starting to memorize them and they remind me I'm worth my time as much as anyone else is, if not more.

1. I am in the process of creative change.

2. I am becoming better every day in every way.

3. I am firmly on the path to success.

4. My own is coming to me now.

5. God is guiding me and helping me daily.

6. I will be glad and rejoice in this day the Lord has made.

7. I believe I can handle all the problems that will arise today.

Please feel free to modify the wording such as replacing God with My God or my Higher Power, etc.

The first two seem to help me the most. :)

Hiya Blue mates~
Sorry I've not been around, just feeling blah, the pms blues I guess. I've been working out though. Went on a fieldtrip Friday with Lane's 4th grade class to a nature center, we walked trails and canoed. It was great. I weigh in tomorrow and I'm also switching to the Core plan to see how it'll be. My leader suggested it last week with my up and down losing and gaining. So I'm looking online today for recipes to plan my week with. I thought it was going to be real restrictive, but it's not. It looks like it's basically a lower/good for you carbs, veggies, fruits, lean meats and protiens way of eating. I think with Flex I'm tending to eat more junky type food even though I'm staying within my points. So I'll give a week to see how it goes. Can't lose anything, but maybe some weight.:lol3:

Hi everyone. I'm down 1 more lb. today but had already weighed-in so it will go on next week. I'm at 219! Started the challenge at 235. I'm so happy!!!! :hyper: I made it out of the 220s finally!!!! :dancer: And I'm 1 lb away from my Halloween goal of 218!! :dance:

I have to go make coffee! :coffee: I'm out of it. Slept realllly late, 9:20. We all needed it tho. :faint: Going to change my ticker and 2 more lbs and I get to change my avatar chick again! Yay! :cheer:

morning ladies! Its sure been quiet around here this week, how are those of you that we haven't heard from in awhile? looking forward to relaxing and cleaning my house today (oh joy!) but i know if I don't do it over the weekend i'll never have time during the work week. I never made it for that 12 mile hike that my friends were going on, which I feel bad about, but I really didn't feel like i was quite there yet. DH and I went for a shorter hike though, which was nice since the trees are turning colors. Anyway, nothing else exciting, TOM came yesterday, so I'll probably have another week of little or no loss, but maybe the week after will show something better???Please???

Selina - gongrats on the 16 lb weight loss so far this challenge! thats just wonderful! you are going to pass that goal WAY before halloween and be well on your way to your next one!

Cathy - hang in there! I'm really interested to hear how your switch from flex to core goes, please keep me updated! i haven't plateaued recently, but expect it will come again eventually and i'll be looking for new things to try also :)

Hi Blues!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was uneventful. I did manage to stay on-plan, but I haven't worked out for two days. My scales were showing me in the 220's and I was so excited! Then, they decided to move up for weigh-in today.... a measily .6 of a pound loss. Have I mentioned how much I hate those stupid ole scales!:mad: So, my goal again is to get into the 220's by weigh-in next Monday. Today, I will do my 60 minutes on the treadmill and try to drink more water. I will also watch carefully to make sure I'm not eating too much of my on-plan foods.....I really don't think I am, but I need to make sure.

Good morning all. I weighed in this morning and I'm down 3.1 pounds from last week! That makes me pretty happy. I got back on plan last week, staying in my points range and getting in 4 days of exercise, and I'm glad to see the scales reflect it. I haven't seen a 3.1 pound loss in one week in months.

On another note, I am feeling exhausted today. My BF broke his toe last night at around 10 so we were at the ER until 1 in the morning. I'm supposed to be at work at 8 but there was no way I was going in with only 5 hours of sleep. So I slept in this morning until 8:30 and will hopefully get to work by 10. Even though I slept in I'm still tired, so I think today may be a challenge.

You know what's really funny about this is I have a project I have to do in my marketing class this term and I was going to get the bluezers and the reddies to answer mine as well.... I still have no clue what my topic is going to be though!

Anywho!

Well its Monday and it doesn't mean that I can slow down yet apparently. There was a stack of stuff to do on my desk and I finally got it done. Now its time for my 6 pages of homework I have to type by 5:30 pm this afternoon. Its for marketing... which my terms are a lot shorter than Melissa's cause I go to an accelerated school. So I'm stuck doing homework I should have a week or two to do in a few days. Oh well.

I haven't weighed in a while and I'm scared to. There's a WW meeting tonight before I go to class so I'll probably stop by and weigh in so I don't get kicked off the team! It's going to be a gain and I know it. Guess I'll have to settle for it and get moving again! I think the budget thing was really bothering me and the non existent groceries are killing me. Dan's parents gave us some of the stuff they buy from BJs that they get like 10 each of. All pizzas or oven meals that are so unhealthy. I really need to get up and exercise like I promised I would.

If I may... I'd like to make a wish list for myself...

I wish there were more hours in a day.

I wish there were more days in a week..

I wish there were more months in a year...

And I wish I'd give myself more time that I deserve.

Well I hate to run AGAIN and not do personals. But unfortunately homework wins. There's a few weights missing and I kind of blame myself for that cause I'm never here anymore.
