Grinding onwards. I’ve done a couple of spontaneous rakings of the lawn to take some of the thatch out. It’s a bit early in the year for this but I’m here in this garden and I needed a few blasts of fresh air. It’s also good for the abs! I’ve cleaned out a cupboard and considered the problem of the cooker which doesn’t work properly and looks terrible. No solution at present. And I’ve discovered that legally the house has to have an energy performance certificate in order to be sold. I'll get onto that tomorrow and I’ll also ring three estate agents for quotes. Food hasn’t been too bad.
Bill, you must have developed quite a few butler skills over the months and years, and grandparents are allowed to be indulgent, I believe, as they're being trained! Think about your basement and the stairs and then you’ll have some idea of what I’ve been working on. It’s a direct result of our prioritisation of family health and relationships for years so I wouldn’t have it any other way. Still a lot of work, though.
curlyjax, great to hear from you. I’m so impressed that you’re walking with a walker already. That’s got to be good. Day by day, you’ll be dropping down from feeling 100 years old until you feel about 30! Glad to hear that you’ve had food delivered.
maryann, that’s so good that the watch system works. You’re in good hands. Take your time. You come first.
