Hi All!

I posted here back in November... just re-joined after a few hectic months. Stayed somewhat on track in the meantime, lost 3.5 lbs.

June 5, eh? I can weigh 159 by then. [Tone Loc voice] Let's do it. [/Tone Loc voice]

Kinda late to the thread, but here goes...

Heaviest weight: 268
Current weight: 238
Goal weight: 135

By June 1, I want to have lost at least 12-15 lbs, putting me at 223-226. I know I can do that.

Plan for food: I have cut out all meat, and will stop eating so much pasta! I'll eat much smaller portions, and save treats for once in a while instead of every day. I am also drinking more water and saving soda as a VERY RARE treat.

I will be joining a gym, where I will go at least 3 times/week to do cardio and weights. I also want to try to start walking to supplement.

Rewards? Well, I am going to reward myself with something small (5-10 dollars) for every 5 lbs... and at the big points (25, 50, 75, and goal) I will get bigger rewards, like spa visits or some new clothes. When I reach my goal, I will do everything in my power to get the breast lift or reduction I've been wanting for YEARS!

Unhappy

Welcome Frogsy

Hey everyone. It seems I've hit a slump and I just can't get out of it. I am at that point where I'm just feeling so down about my life situation that it's very difficult for me to feel motivated about being healthy. This last week I've been eating junk and being lazy. And the sad part is I can't get myself to care! Yesterday when I exercised I almost fainted half way through my workout tape. I'm just not doing too good. We're having money troubles and I had an interview for a job last week and I'm really praying that God will give me this job because we desperately need it. My husband is also waiting to hear from someone about a job for himself. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We really need it.

Thumbs up

Good job blugrl! I LOVE your new avatar!!!! Gorgeous! I did step last night. Whew, it was tough! But it felt sooo good to cool down and go home. I've been eating really good the past couple of days too. So far, so good. I'm feeling pretty good already. Just have to keep it up. Hope you're all doing well. Later! - Amy

Talking Hey!

I had to go back and check to see what my summer goal was... and I am very happy to report that I have hit the half way mark this week (today I am at 175.5)! I am down ten pounds since the beginning of the year. My goals is to lose 20-25 pounds by June, so I have to really keep things rolling to lose another 10 to 15 over the next couple of months. More low-carbing.

Smile Just getting started!

I'm just getting started and I'm trying to get all over this forum!! I am ready to be held accountable for what I eat. So, I'm coming in late but I'm joining in on summer goals.

Current: 200
June 5th goal: 176
Plan: SBD - buddying up with a family member to exercise 5 days a week and staying on this forum for motivation. Keep lots of OP foods around for my tendency to 'grab whatever.'

Thanks for the challenge chicks!
