She did everything she could to get away - bite, scratch, hiss, scratch, bite - until he finally said, "I think she looks healthy. I don't want to stress her anymore."
Only a man could say that My female vet would have said something like "She seems a little short on patience today, but definitely looks healthy to me." -- that's what she said once when Purrecious bit her.
Hi everyone,
I'm a little late getting on here today - I had a busy morning and then worked till 10:30 tonight. I did pretty good today with eatting. No big binges and I ate healthy. I probably could've done better. I cleaned house this am and did my 2mile WATP before going to work. Had some major family stress yesterday from my Mom & brother so I just wanted to keep very busy and not think about it. We got our firewood delivery today and it's beginning to look like fall here in No. Michigan! I have 3 cats - Bandit, Vern and Zeb. They hate going to the vet!! Hope everyone has a good night!!

Still not feeling up to par . . . partly because my blood sugar levels are still being so erratic . . . hope it gets back in sync soon. At least our weather is still being really, really kind to us. Keep it coming Mama Nature.
Kittens (and cats) are being good. Eating is pretty good. Exercise (well ) Hmmmmmm.
OK, I'm back, whew what a struggle it was to get up this morning. As I mentioned last week we had a "Business After Hours" at our clinic on Friday evening. It is a Chamber sponsored get together where all the members of the Chamber of Commerce and any of your own guests are invited to come after hours and enjoy food, drink, and a chance to visit about how things are going in the community. We only had around 45 show up as it was the high school home coming football game so most were headed there. I put in 11 1/2 hours on Friday so I was pooped when I finally got home that night. My DH went home from work early that day not feeling well and still didn't when I got home. Thank goodness it was just a 24 hour bug and he was fine by Sat. AM. Saturday I popped out of bed to join friends for coffee at 7:30 and then we went out of town shopping. The afternoon was spent working in our yard getting ready for Fall. Sunday I had to get my house cleaned and now I want a day off !!!!
Sunday weigh in was fun, I am down 1.8 lbs this week. I was so excited. I am actually under what my weight tracker says, but I'm afraid to change it yet. If I can keep it off all week then I will change it. I know it is because I was so busy last week and I didn't have time to eat or just sit around playing on the computer. Went for a mile and a half walk yesterday and so today I have to get out there and do it again.
LINDA: I sure hope you get to feeling better real soon. What is up with your sugar levels being so up and down?
Would sure love to hear from the rest of our gang, where are you gals?? Hope you are all having a wonderful time doing whatever it is you are doing.
I think it's just that my body is rebalancing itself because of having lost almost 60 pounds. Guess my pancreas has decided to re-establish itself a bit. BTW, I am trying to get the doctors appointment.

Okay . . . I'm back and I've calmed down a little. Had coffee; wrestled the garbage to the curb; fed everybody; -- and banished the nasty scale to the corner.
After three days of reading 226 . . . now that it is my official weigh-in morning, he had the audacity to register 228 AGAIN . . . we have been doing this same routine for two month's now. Let's see how he likes standing face to the wall for a while. He won't be coming out until the end of the month -- I know, it's not far off -- but it is a Sunday (usually one of my low days). Maybe this will at least break the patter of the personal vendetta he has going for me. Then he will return to the corner until the end of October (a Wednesday ) Hopefully Mr. Scale will learn some manners by then.
Other than that, SSDD -- hope everybody else is having a great one --
Hi everyone.
I've been MIA for a few days but I finally have a day off today and will get back on track. I actually gained a half pound this week. I'm doing better with exercise but on again off again with my eatting plan. When I get tired and stressed I don't do well. I should really plan ahead for those days but they always seem to slip up and knock me off track. I have worked really weird shifts this past 6 days and it is difficult to get home late and eat right. That's no excuse I know. I just need to work on being prepared for nights like that. Today is a new day! It's a lovely fall morning, a little cool but the leaves are really starting to turn such pretty colors! I am going to stop by the farm market today and pick up some apples, pumpkins and gourds. Hope you all have a great day!
