Son had recital today, very exciting....went out for chinese afterwards..UGH...I don't think I should get on the scale tomorrow.

Zumba, I love chinese food, but I think it has a LOT of salt . . . maybe drink LOTS & LOTS o water . . .

My original goal was to be down 10 lbs, but we have 2 weeks left and I only have 1.8 lbs to go . . . So now I'm going to try for under 170 . . . CRANK UP THAT EXERCISE . . . OH MY . . . |
Sunday: 1435 calories. 45 minutes on the elliptical(280 cal)
Another storm heading this way - some of you may be dealing with it already. Will probably have to work from home tomorrow as schools may be delayed. 2 more weeks in this challenge, and trying to lose another 2 lbs. |
Well I broke a record! I actually weighed in today at OVER what my starting weight was at the beginning of the challenge!! I don't know whether to laugh or cry over how pathetic this is.....
Two more weeks in this challenge....I"m along for the ride just so I can watch y'all succeed....you're all amazing. |
Monday: 1210 calories. 35 minutes on the treadmill, 1.5 of them continuous jogging. Decided to run a 5K in April - I'm halfway there!
Zumba, you ate Chinese food yesterday, I'm sure you're retaining. Stick with us! |

Hi All, a quick wave! I haven't trained for 3 days, crazy girl's weekend, fun was had but no serious damage done (I'm up a lb). Off to run 6.5k now. Back later to read how you're all doing.

Good Morning Chicks! I'm back from the family time in Alabama. I am weighing at WW today to see how much damage I did. Not to worry, I had a great time and did NOT go crazy even though the workouts didn't happen. Whatever the scales say will not derail me because I am already back on track and was actually looking forward to getting back into my routine.
It looks like all of you have been working hard and hanging in there. Two more weeks left of the challenge and no matter what our results are I am glad I hopped on this thread! You ladies are DA BOMB!:yay: Everyone have a great day! |
Day 32- DONE! Today I did a circuit, the whole kit & kaboodle in my home gym, treadmill, bike, kickboxing, glider, dry ice slider, weights & mini tramp, rotated them all to challenge all my muscles, plus 100 push ups!
Welcome back River & Bama! :) Glad you both enjoyed yourselves, that is the main thing, you can always get back to losing business! :) You gotta live life too! ;) Zumba chinese makes anyone puff up like a blowfish! No worries, you can still make progress in 2 weeks time, FOCUS- FOCUS, FOCUS & you will see progress! Awesome Madame B, almost 100 pushups, way to getter done girl! Schools are closed AGAIN here because of the ice. Thinking of working upstairs for a lot of the day, away from the food :-) Hoping classes will be on at the gym tonight. evil, is the dry ice thing a slide where you go back and forth? bama, welcom back! glad you had a great time. river, hope you had a great run! I just signed up for a 5K on April 30. I'm up to 1.5 miles, so I'm planning to get in two runs a week, increasing my distance about .25 miles a week, then I'll work on my speed. I'm very slow! |

I weighed in at WW and was up .6lbs. I don't think that is too bad considering I hung out with my cousin at her bakery for two days. (she has the best birthday cake cupcakes..OMG! :cloud9: ) I walked when I could but I didn't stress too much about anything..lol I was actually relieved to get back into my little routine and that was a great feeling, to actually be happy about it this time. So this Bama gal is back on track. You ladies have a great day. Celebrate the small victories! |

OK ladies . . . only 12 days until Valentines day and I'm on a roll
Today: JM 6-week,6-pack abs, Zumba flat abs, 200 crunches and 75 push-ups . . . Bama: no worries you can work off that 0.6 lbs in NO TIME . . . :carrot: Zumba: you can't fail unless you quit trying!!! there is always time :broc: :cp: River: way to go, I don't think I can run 2K much less 5.6K . . . go girl . . you can do it!! Evil: Just so I don't forget to tell you THANKS you said one time: work for the body you want, NOT for the body you have . . . that has helped me SOOOOOO much!! just keep rockin' it Nata: you'll do great on that 5K . . . just keep goin' |

Hey y'all! Well I got the three lbs of chinese food bloat off...thank goodness...now I'm back to square one!! I know I will not lose ten lbs by goal date but i"ll be happy with five!!
Evil: I have a hard time calling you that because you're so darn nice....so not EVIL :devil: !! Thanks for keeping me going in this challenge.....It has been a strange and wierd month....between the weather and other stuff...winter blues has hit me HARD!! Dcap: Got a late start today because my kids had a delayed opening also...sometimes I think it would be easier if they just cancelled school for the whole day!! My driveway was a solid sheet of ice....very dangerous!! Hard to get a routine going if one day to the next you don't know what to expect from bad weather!! Madambutterfly... You are on FIRE with your workouts lady! very iimpressed!! Natamars; You are going to rock that 5K!! Bama..welcome home! You did great while away, did not have a huge gain AT ALL...and if I spent more than one day in a bakery it would be no holes barred! I probably would have went into glucose shock from sugar consumption...I give you credit!! Otown and River..sounds like both you lovely ladies are still in the GAME....keep it up!!! My Zumba toning class was cancelled because of the weather...my town is a sheet of solid ice....took me forever to chip it off my truck this morning...so I will burn some calories the good ole fashioned way...HOUSEWORK!!!!! have to take advantage of my time "iced in"......then maybe learn some new choreography.... My challenge this week: Book club friday night..which means wine and snacks.....this is usually the type of setting where I go wrong....this time I won't...even if it means bringing my own snacks...do you think that's rude? |
