Day 27- Mission Accomplished. Yah, I'm a go getter & I getter done, far from a procrastinator in any aspect of my life! **** no I'm a balls to the walls type. Today I kickboxed, lifted & 50 pushups, I felt a lil twinge on #50, so I stopped there..... Gotta listen to the bod, so I done did. Zumba- frickenfantabulous that your still aboard. If you can't do the exercise part, you can triumph on the eating to get closer to your goal atleast! :) River- hope your flight made it out, have fun! Madame B- sorry your feeling under the weather, sickness sucks, I am not getting too close to the computer screen just incase its catchy, ;) your doing fabu despite, your body needs rest when your sick & liquids! Am I ever so glad that I did a good workout the other night as I haven't been able to do so since because of work again...and a social night with a good friend.
Been watching everything going in my mouth...(except the two glasses of red to celebrate my impending BD with my friend who I won't see before hand. BF was trapped an extra day on Long Island but made it to LaGuardia and took a round about flight home. Can't wait for Friday and getting back to working out...seems like the weekends are the only time I get to rest and by that I mean 10 hours straight each night! Can't wait to get back to the grind! Hope you all have a great weekend, and don't any of you give into any temptations...we all need each other to reach our personal goals! |
My flight made it, I was lucky. It was snowing in Halifax and Chicago. I love the grocery stores here! Went out and got healthy provisions and did well all day until last night (I really went off the rails diet wise). Just got to get back on track today and be more moderate in my choices and amounts.
I don't feel good, like I'm coming down with something, so I took yesterday off. I'm going to train this morning though because I won't be able to train Sat or Sunday. Off to do a 5k run, strength train and yoga. Have a happy day all! |
Thursday: 1405 calories, 40 minutes on the elliptical. Zumba! was canceled b/c of the snow :(
Down 3 lbs. total for the challenge. TOM is coming, so I was happy to be down 1.2 for the week. Check in with everyone later! |
Good morning friends!!
I noticed something. The muscle relaxant I have been taking for my shoulder is making me gain weight. There is no way in Hades I should have had a bloody gain from yesterday, yet I did...point 4...not a lot but it made me realize that stuff bloats me up...so NO MORE of that! I'll just make do without it...... I was annoyed that one of my gym employers wanted me to give class last night but surprisingly enough I had a good number of folks that came out for Zumba!! I was relieved, nothing worse then getting to class and there is one or two people there, especially when you get paid PER PERSON. So I got a workout in... The low carbing has been going well..no bread or sugar in days...getting the veggies down no matter how hard it seems at times.... No sun today which isn't doing much for my disposition. This has been the snowiest winter NY has seen since 1925. And it isn't over yet!! Have a good day all |

OK, ladies I think I'm 100% again, THANK GOODNESS!!
You all are rockin it out and I need to get back on the train, WHOLE HEARTED TODAY, fighting the winter duldrums and MORE cold weather coming, UGH and OH NO!! But what can I do but EXERCISE (inside, BRRRR) and hope spring comes early. OK, enough procrastinating . . . of to play with Jillian and Zumba . . . Have a GREAT DAY ;) |
Day 28 Finito! (means finished in Italiano ;) ) Today I did 1/2 hr forwards on treadmill & 1/2 hr backwards all on incline, that was a good bun busta! :) Also lifted for a bit & 100 pushups
Well the wknd is upon us! :) Hey otown- way to chillax & have some vino with your friend, socialization is important for sanity sakes! The wknd is upon you so you can get back into your workout groove. River- glad you reached your destination, that's perfectly fine an indulgence here & there, you gotta look at the bigger picture, more healthy days vs unhealthy, they balance out, enjoy your time away & good job working out while on vaca, nothing beats that adrenalin rush from a good workout, eh? Nat- your doing great with a loss with Tom upon you, when HE is history I am sure the scale will swoosh some more albeit! :) Hey Zumba- yeah meds & injuries can SO cause water retention gain, now don't be worrying your pretty lil head over a minor blip on a scale, **** a good $hit can take care of that .4 & thensome! ;) If you got muscle relaxers, I would continue to take them, don't get all tough girl & go without, you got them for a reason, I think you outta continue taking them says Dr. Wendalyn! :) Hey Madame B, glad your back to feeling normal (well yanno ;) ) , now you can get back to your groove chicky! Taker easy, you don't wanna lose your cookies, doing too much too fast after being a sicko, k? Ease on into it & tomorrow you can go balls to the wall if you feel primo! :) Have a grandioso wknd peeps! Me & the hubs have a date tonite, going out to dinner, woo hoo! |

OK, ladies and chickies . . .
I'm now SURE I'm 100%, played with JM and did 100 crunches and 50 push-ups (barely got in #49 & 50, BUT I did it, :woohoo: Zumba: So glad you are back in the game . . . :carrot: those winter doldrums are hazardous . . . I'm fighting them and the temps here are NOT helping . . . they are calling for single digits next week, UGH & OH NO!! Evil: YUP, I'm back and didn't lose any cookies while working out, (Thank goodness) that would have been VERY, ummmm, YUCKY, ewwwwwwwwww . . I finally started those push-ups but haven't counted them until I could crank out 50 :whoo:. . . it's a start Nata: great job on the 1.2, that's almost 5 sticks of BUTTER MELTED AWAY!!!! River: Way to get back on track, I don't think I could do a 5K, (how did it go???) love yoga when I need to be calm and settle down or get a really good stretch . . . otown: I love when I can get a little extra sleep, (doesn't happen often) I almost always seem to drop a little bit more when I can get a good nights sleep :yawn: Oh and :bday2you: :bday2: :bday2you: dcap: yes SPRING is coming, (at least that is what I keep telling myself) I bought some pots and seed starting dirt and seeds, so I can plant some peppers this weekend and tomoatoes in about 2 weeks (inside of course) but at least it will make me feel like warmer weather is on it's way . . . Hope everyone else is hanging in there, basically only 2 more weeks until Valentine's Day . . . |
Thanks Zumba, dinner date was FABULOUSO, I had seafood platter- broiled shrimp, scallops & walleye, - nummers & way ample protein for the pipers! ;)

Well not having an easy time , as usual. I really think I am my own worse enemy. Went to bunco last night and the hostess put out baked ziti, fresh italian bread and salad......then desserts..coconut cake, almond pound cake and brownies...OY VEY!! Just skimming by and not making any progress. Still a few weeks left of the challenge and I'm still in, although I"m starting to smack my dang head and ask myself why??:?::?::?::?: On a happier note I had an *** kicking audition today....they didn't offer me the job but I'm hoping that they do......it's the kind of place I would like to work out in so I'm hoping they'll throw in a membership.....then i would have a place to pump iron... :wl: |
Saturday: 955 calories. 1 hour spin class.
My calories were so low because I was running around most of the day and didn't have time to eat. There was a "fun fair" at my son's school but none of the food was remotely tempting to me. Now that I'm losing, albeit slowly, it's much easier to stay on plan. Didn't sleep well because cramps kept waking me up, so I may just take it slow today, but will at least try to get some time on the elliptical. zumba, that food sounds delicious. It's sad, but my lack of a social life these days makes it easier to stay on plan! Hope you get the job! evil, glad you had a great time at dinner! madamb, great workout! |
dang, you ladies are hardcore! lot's of cool stuff going on, I see...
weigh in this morning puts me at 255.8 - Still a loss, so I'm happy :) With my birthday 2 weeks from today, I am hoping to break into the 240's. But if I can't at least I am closer to them than I was last year. Here's to the next two weeks TOTALLY ON PLAN :cheers: |
Day 30, 1 month down working on the pipes & I'm on top of my game & loving it! Today was sunny, went out snowshoeing & I walked for 1.5 hrs & worked my arms using my walking poles, & I called it a day! :) I may crank out some pushups tonite though if I feel the need...
Madame B- AWESOME job on the workouts & the PUSH-UPS, WTG! :) Soon you'll be back to BUFF girl! :) Nat-I'd be chewing on my arm if I only ate 955 calories & I would never be able to workout like I do without passing out, true story. :( Yeah on the loss dcap Hope you get the gig Zumba & todays a new day to make better choices! :) Have a great day peeps |
So after the great workout Friday night, Saturday was slumpy and didn't do anything! But L3 of JM shred wasn't as hard as I remember it so did a 1/2 hour on the bike afterwards. Hoping to get in a workout today as tomorrow is weigh-in day for me!
As I mentioned, I've been a little off with the food thanks to the stresses of work and the course I'm taking. As of this afternoon, I am caught up on both and off to relax. Work hard and have fun everyone! |
