Lots of walking in the past week - although I did have TWO (oops) rest days. Probably wouldn't have been too bad, except they were 'in a row'. Still, I am sure I am making up for it on other days.
In the last 7 days I have walked for 395 mins. Most of this is made up of an hour's very brisk walk (up a couple of REALLY good hills) in the morning and others are brisk walks with hubby at various times.
Personal Goal... 550 + 395 = 945/1200, which leaves 255 mins left of my December goal.
I got in 60 min weight lifting at the gym. I'm most likely not going to make that 1500 min goal, but I'm getting back to the gym for my first cardio tomorrow (bike or elliptical, still can't walk quickly)...
I did another 15 minute workout with Yourself!Fitness. I can easily see myself doing these twice a day! Although my legs are really yelling at me right now.
So, that means we are at 8898+15=8913 minutes total
This morning, I had to just make myself do it because I knew if I put it off, it wouldn't get done. I'm sore, but not sore to the point of hurting myself sore. So, while C was at the store, I did another session with Yourself!Fitness. I'm going to try to do another session tonight, but I think I will do a stretching session instead. Maybe that will help with the soreness.
20 minutes today... I'll be without internet access, except intermittently, until after new year's, so I may not be able to post my minutes for a while.

I also did NOT want to exercise today, but forced myself to the gym. I did a session on an exercise bike which did not bother my foot (which IS getting better). 45 min

Selections from 10-minute workout: Sis wanted to do the pilates, but when I laid down (why have I never learned when to use lie and when to use lay?) gut hurt so we did: kickbox. ballet. yoga.
Hello all, I just became a member of the forum, but I wanted to join in before December was over! I walked a few miles with my boyfriend...30 minutes last night and 40 minutes tonight, so 70 minutes total for me
Just starting the diet thing again, and couldn't think of a better group to do it with. You all seem so nice, and I hope I can get to know you all better!

Do you have a goal of exercise you'd like to get in by the end of the month? I don't recommend you set one too high to begin with. Remember the holidays can really throw you for a loop!
No, I don't think I will do a goal for the end of Dec. I am going to ease into it for now since the exercising part is the most challenging thing for me to stick to. Also, the end of the month is so close.
But come January, I will really crank it up a few notches once I get into some kind of routine. That is especially hard to do for the holidays
