Today I got in 30 minutes of walking, but I enjoyed my much belated baby shower (3.5 months late). hahaa I am just blessed to celebrate my son's life and have my piece of heaven. Keep up the good work. I am really excited about meeting and succeeding our goals. Melissa |

OK, I have to add Saturday and Sunday. I seem to only be posting every other day. I really must get my act together.
Saturday - 30 mins treadmill, 20 mins home gym and 30 mins bike = 80 mins Sunday - 30 mins on treadmill, 40 min walk along the river with hubby, 20 mins home gym and 30 mins on bike = 120 mins (Sundays are GOOD!) Personal Goal... 1440 - 200 = 1240 mins left of May's goal of 1800 Group Total... 2488 + 200 = 2688 :carrot: Looks like we are pretty active over the weekend. Patti - You're math is correct! Although there are actually 31 days in May, so if you exercised every day for 50 minutes that would be 1550.
Well, I don't know what happened yesterday. I meant to do one of my tapes and then I just got caught up with things around the house. I did go to Target and walk around a lot and I also danced around while cleaning. So there it was, almost 2am when I was finally going to bed and as I lay down I realized I hadn't done any exercise for the day. Well, I couldn't go to sleep. I had to get up and do my 10 minutes walking in front of the TV. It felt on the verge of obsessive, but it also felt good that I am really sticking to this. I do think I need to lighten up a bit, but since I hadn't planned it I didn't want to do it then. So just 10 minutes for me, bringing my total to 285. The group total is now 2688 + 10 = 2698 |
oh i forgot about may having 31 days for me. so more minutes for me!!

It was a VERY active weekend for me!
Saturday: 125 minutes walking down by the lake. BEAUTIFUL! Sunday: 85 minute hike at a local park that has hiking trails. :) So 210 mins total 2698+210=2908 |
I've had a total of 100 minutes from the 1st until now. I'm horrid about posting on here, but I'll try to do better!
Today, I also managed to get in some more exercise. Calisthenics (jumping jacks, push ups*, sit ups*, and jump rope) - 15 minutes Walking - 20 minutes Stretching - 10 minutes So that's a total of 45 minutes. 2908+45=2953 minutes *I use the terms very loosely because, let's face it, there's just no "sitting up" when you have the huge belly hanging in the way. And push ups? Don't even get me started! I did, however, do my version of them so they count :D* |
25 min weight training for me -- and it's working -- I'm starting to be able to see some of these muscles I'm building!!! Woohoo!!

BTW, if you add this month's minutes to our existing 47+ K minutes, we are already over halfway there!!!!! Yes, we have exercised over 50,000 minutes already this year!!!

11 minutes for me today (4 on the ex bike, 7 walking). Can't wait until I'm up to half an hour a day, let alone what the rest of you are doing.

Today is my rest day, so no workout for me. I was going to do something today but I thought best to take some time off and let my body rest. I start anew tomorrow.
