152-ish today! (scale couldn't make up it's mind between 152 and 152.5). After my workout this morning, 151.5! So we're getting there.

Jelma, i'm right next to you! We'll cross over soon!

I'm trying to not weigh myself till Friday or Saturday. I binged this weekend w/ the bf since we were both starting fresh with exercise and dieting this week. I think it was 156 which is up 3lbs from my current low. I'm following the P90X nutrition guide and work out plan. I'm hoping to shred away the pounds and reach the 140s by mid-April.

150 today! I am certain that I will hit the 140s next week, well not certain but certainly hopeful! Had a good week exercise wise, need to clean up my diet a bit but feel pretty confident about that. Plan on getting to the grocery this weekend and load up on fruits and veggies.

How is everyone else doing?

Beila - yes, we can do it! I was up to 152 today but I think that is just residual weight from the weekend and official weigh in is Friday. I want to see 149.5 so bad!

Congrats ladies! You are doing awesome and will be in the 140s in no time. Its gonna be quiet around here when you make it to the other side. I am not doing very well. Started eating poorly and not taking time to work out. I'm at 156. I feel like I'll be in the 150s for awhile. I've been more depressed lately causing a lack of motivation. I guess its best described as a case of the F-its.

Well ja2ma6lee I don't think you have to worry about me leaving anytime soon, back up to 154 today. I feel like since the beginning of the year I have just been gaining and losing the same damn 5 pounds. I am starting to get frustrated. I've tried to keep a good attitude and not let it get me down but it is hard. I know that is probably my diet because I have been staying pretty active. I haven't been taking the time to pack my lunch and the weekends I usually only eat one meal a day which I am sure is not helping.

Jelma, I'm am right there with you. I have been having the SAME problem with these 5 pounds since 1/1/11! Seriously this is annoying, and I've been really active. The problems I've identified with my failure is this:

-Binging when I've LOST weight. So like around 151-150 I binge for some reason. As if I have some reason to reward myself.
-Not losing when I eat healthy and exercise, and instead gain weight. I think that it's a digestion problem though, so rather than lose, I'm retaining water or something.

I think when we get down to the weight 150, really try hard for at least 2-3 days to think about the 140's and how awesome it will feel and don't let anything sabotage the effort.

I'm right there with you to support you. Let's DO THIS!!!!!

Hey Ja2ma6lee, Don't be discouraged. Sometimes I get sad as well and don't workout as much. I think the numbers on the scale motivate me most. So when i have a "low" weigh-in, I feel GREAT and just want to continue to lose the weight, so I eat healthy and exercise. The problem is, we've gotta do something to get to that "low" weigh-in. Keep going at it. I'll be here to support you. Try just a nice walk around the block to ease your mind if exercise is something you just don't feel like doing. Or a nice fruit or veggie salad to replace what you are usually eating if it's something "bad". Hope you find your footing back on track.

Hello! I've just gotten down to 149.5 in the last two days, but i could very well be back at 150 tomorrow, so the 150s are still my enemy. Once i get down to 148 and stay there for a couple of days, i'll finally say goodbye to the 150s for good!

Thanks Beila! Feeling a little better today, back down to 150.5. Don't really know why I have been fluctuating so much recently, normally it is just 1-2 pounds not 4! I went to the grocery last night and packed two days of lunches. Walked for about 35 minutes at lunch and tonight is either another walk for 45 mins or so or my pilates video. Tonight I have a healthy and delish dinner planned. I feel like I am on the right track.

We just got to keep moving forward! We will be there soon! And you are completely right - no sabotaging ourselves.

Thanks joyfulloser. Congrats on almost being at goal!

surfergirl - I will see you in the 140s!

I am 159 as of right now, I was 147 this time last yr after losing about 20lbs by counting calories (healthy food only) and exercising every day. Went on va-ca got out of all of my good habits, gave myself a huge amount of excuses every day and now here I am again. Still not as big as I was but only 8lbs away!

I remember how hard the 150's where to get out of last yr though. Ugh it felt like it literally took forever LOL Here's to hoping this time around the 150's go much faster!

I'm having a real difficult time with work and where I wanna be in life. It's causing me to stress eat unhealthy foods and make me too tired for exercise. I'm hoping to relocate to FL for a more relaxed living style and new job. I need some positive changes to re-motivate me.

Hi Tonyia! I know what you mean about the 150s, been here for soooo long.

ja2ma6lee - a change a scenery could definitely help. It was such a terrible and long winter here, I am sure it was way worse there. Try to get back on track though, even if it is a little at a time, you have make such progress and don't want to have to start all over again!

Another disappointing weigh in today - 150.5. I am going to have to rethink my strategy and really buckle down if I am going to make it to the 140s by the end of the month. I am happy I have been able to maintain but I am starting to feel that maybe that's all I should be doing instead of trying to lose
