I'm getting motivated here to start this very moment & REDEDICATE myself to calorie counting. I ate 3 slices of pizza,2 beers& ice cream last night. Seemed yummy last night but so not worth the mental beating & regret. I wish I had a food allergy to fast food & all my favorites. Oh well, back on the wagon I go.
My spelling was atrocious! Getting used to my iPad.

Hey, DollyMichele. Have you had any major changes in your life or diet since you got into the 60s? Or do you think perhaps your plan could be too restrictive? How many calories are you eating?
I'd suggest not weighing until TOM is over. Give your body a few days to come down from bloat and you might feel more ready to face the scale. Good luck!! You can do this. I admire your conviction and desire to rededicate before you get too off course. That counts as a victory too, you know.

Hi Thistleberry! I do have some major stress, possibly have a new job on the horizon. Been doing a lot of interviews & realizing how much I dislike my current job. Also I never have the same days off with my husband so we never get bonding time, definitely a stressor. But he is super supportive of my weight-loss & is helping me get back on track. I have been doing a bit too restrictive calorie plan (1000-1100 cal) too, so going to add a few hundred back. It is great having a place like this to stay positive & have motivation from others doing the same thing.

Thank you for your words of encouragement!! I really appreciate it! =D. Good luck to you! Keep on keeping on!

165.2 =D Super happy!!! * YAY* been really sticking to my calories for 3 days and saw REAL improvement. It is amazing how that happens. Almost glad it is Monday because the weekends are what always kills me - all the going out to eat and not having scheduled meals is really difficult to count & manage calories.

Awesome, DollyMichele!! I'm glad things are going more smoothly for you now. You're halfway through the 60's!

I hear you on the weekends thing. My eating schedule gets all messed around whereas during the week I have to eat at certain times because my work schedule won't allow for anything else. Makes things a lot easier.

Hey All!

I thought I'd pop in here. I recently joined the forum and was chillen in the 170s, but I just hit 166, so I guess this is where I fit for now. Yey! Hopefully it will be a short stay (in terms of my goal, not the company, of course ).

162 today! I nearly yelped with excitement when I saw that number. I have really been strict with my calorie counting and boy what a difference! I even went out to dinner/lunch several times & still losing. So yay! Doing research before going somewhere really pays off. I even ate at Whataburger - I had a burger & fries! Of course a jr burger w/ no mayo & the kids fries but darn they were yummy! Tonight is Mexican food for my mother in laws b-day. I'm a bit nervous about that since it is a mom& pop shop & no nutrition info. Just gotta be picky about what I get tonight. Good luck to everyone! =)

Puneri, you're bound to hit 157 soon!

Hi, Iron Law, welcome! Glad you're here (yay more people!) but I hope your stay is short too.

Wow, DollyMichele, that's three whole pounds since last time! I'm totally envious! (But in a good way, natch.) I hope you were able to find something delicious at the restaurant last night.

I wish I could report a bigger loss, but today I weighed in at 164.2 which is a bit less than a pound from last Thursday. I can't say I'm thrilled but I'm not upset or anything either.

Keep it up Thistleberry! How amazing does it feel to have lost nearly 66 lbs? You must be soooo proud! =) Have you been on 3FC the whole time?

I am not entirely sure how well I did at the mexican food place. I ordered non-fried chicken tacos & didn't eat any rice or beans. but who knows how many calories were in them?! I know a ton of salt because I jumped a pound on the scale today - no way I ate 3500 calories so its got to be water weight. I did have the tiniest slice of cake - sooooo yummy!

I know that I have good then bad cycles and I realize right now I'm rocking it but I hope that the next phase of 'bad' is short & I remember how good it feels to be aware of my food intake and that food doesn't solve my problems. I wish I would never stumble again but let's face it - we all do & will. but I really love this place. It is very motivating to have other like-minded who can relate.
