Humidity is making me retain water like no Inez's business. Going on a water fast tomorrow to see if I can drop some of this water weight! ><

Default 16 weeks and counting

I am really excited to join this tread too. Being accountable is so key to my weight loss. I feel like this is just another place I have to say... I did it or didn't do it. 16 weeks is not that far away and great things can be accomplished by then. I am only one week in but its one week down and so far so good.

Thanks for putting this together.

I'm disappointed that I didn't get any points....2lbs a week is a lot for me but it doesn't seem to be competitive!

The charts are updated? Huzzah! Unfortunately I don't think that this week is going to be especially good for me...I still have 2 more days before my weigh-in day, but I'm still a little under 2 lbs for the week. On the plus side, this morning I weighed in at 172 even, which means I'm down my first 25 lbs!

Katbot: Don't get discouraged, you're doing awesome! You're still making your way up the overall chart and you've been consistently losing. Any time now I'm sure that you'll get a whoosh and leave us all in the dust.

Sigh. This weekend was rough on me.

Somehow managed to gain 6 pounds in 3 days. 3.5 lbs up from last weigh in.

I think it's time to rethink what I'm doing, because it is really not working.

Hope everyone else had a better weigh in than I did!

I didn't do my usual weight in as I went to the mountains this weekend. I might have gone overboard... but I'm also not sure if I did. I didn't count calories at all. I tried reading labels and tried to stick to what I'm suppose to eat, but who knows where I landed on the calorie meter. I went for a lot of fruits instead of chips (didn't have any chips! GO ME!) I went for no syrup on the pancakes (just one!) this morning, and I had water and no soda all weekend. I also did a TON of walking in the mountains. So... I'm not sure if it was a GREAT weekend for weight loss, or if I indulged in too much bread and cheeses this weekend...

I'll weigh tomorrow. I also am suppose to start TOM tomorrow according to my BC... so that usually adds weight.

Tiny Tiger It is probably a LOT of water weight. I started the Shred last year and GAINED like 5 pounds after week one, it DROPPED after week 2. I think it was just my muscles retaining water to repair themselves.

I gained a little. Ugh! No fun...
I'm hoping sodium and TOM, perhaps next weigh in there will be a significant drop? I am going home to run tonight, that's for sure.

Oh, I really want to join this! But I see everyone weighed in yesterday, so would I wait until next week to start adding info to the spreadsheet? Or can I do it now?

Also, I read the info for newbies, but I'm still a little confused. >.<" If I haven't been tracking my weight, would I leave all the other weeks blank and only continue from the week I started to count? Or do I put my start weight in all of the columns, and continue from there? Because I think if there are blanks, then I'm moved to stand-by, right?

You wouldn't automatically be put on standby if you're just joining. I'd put in dashes and add yourself to the bottom of the sheet. Since you're clearly not the last alphabetically, Rie will fix it when she gets a chance because she's awesome like that. You don't have to weigh on Monday (I'm weighing tomorrow) as long as it's before the end of the week.

WHY WON'T IT JUST GO AWAY!

20 weeks, 20 lbs, that's not so hard. Why can't it just drop? Maybe I should try harder...
