Weighed in, but my scale is still inaccurate, so I don't know how much of an estimation that is of my actual weight. I also have some complicated TOM things going on (long story that is more complex than interesting.) I have to get home eventually to take my weight on my family's balance scale, but I have midterms coming up. The next time I can manage is Halloween weekend. Well, here's hoping that the scale is adding pounds rather than subtracting them, because only one of these two options signals that I need to change my dieting habits.

errr oops I forgot to weigh! Sorry. I think I was 142, so a 1lb gain, and I'm sure it'll be similar this week. I somehow need to transition into the weight-loss mode rather than maintenance! I will resolve to start fresh next week, where hopefully I will be in work after 7am and out of work before 10pm. (I'd be happy with 9am -7pm really) I might have time to go to the gym and also make dinner. Awsome.
Sounds like we're mostly doing well here. Scarlett, congrats on your milestone.
Today, 179 at home, dressed, with shoes. I'll go with it since last Wed. I was 180 similarly attired. TOM never came--I get a pass this month. I know when it comes, it brings extra weight (or no weight loss)--so when it doesn't come, is there an impact?
I had managed to stay off the scale some, which is one goal. I haven't fully wrapped my head around THIS diet THIS time, but I think I can trust (a smidge?) that weight loss will continue as long as I am at least on 99% of the time. With a 1200 calorie target/1400 ceiling, there is wiggle room.
I had a burrito at Chipotle on Sunday, but it fit in, and didn't have guac, sour cream or cheese--easy to eliminate. I craved the burrito for weeks. I didn't plan it, but Sunday was bad around here and I had not eaten by 7 p.m., so I think that gave me an excuse to have it. Now, I'm over it.
Anyhow, I hope to continue to succeed, even in small measures, through the end of the challenge, and wish the same for everyone else.

Well, I only lost .2, but since last week's was 4, I won't complain. I also had a pretty bad eating weekend while visiting my parents, so I suppose I should be happy with .2!

I’m still sick. This morning = 186.6 (down almost 2 from last week). I’m hoping for 185 tomorrow.
I’ve been nearly starving myself lately because my appetite is gone. I usually use sickness as an excuse to eat. Now I’m taking advantage of my diminished appetite. Also I’m waiting to hear about a job I applied for. The waiting usually drives me insane but I’ve managed to stay on plan and relatively sane. The longer I do this, the more I believe I can manage my weight long term.
Bronte155 – Thanks for the encouragement. I figure if I say no to the candy, then surviving Halloween is practically a non-issue. If I’m successful I may make a similar “no Christmas cookies” rule. We’ll see.
Good luck with exercise. Be proud that you’ve stuck with it this long and are still losing.
Themilesawaygirl - Welcome Back!! Glad you’re still around and hanging in there.
124chicksinger – I’m glad the 170s stuck. Congrats!
I weighed in Today at 186.6. Down 11 pounds even from baseline and enough for my 5% star. I started the challenge already in diet mode with no water weight to lose. I am very pleased with 11 pounds of solid fat. I would be thrilled with being down 10% at the end.
Also I've posted a little on here about my unemployment/living at home woes. I just got a job and am absolutely thrilled. I'm probably only going to get part time hours but it's something related to my ultimate career goals. It's definitely something I can build on. I feel so happy and grateful.
Having these challenges really helped me though this difficult time. Losing weight gave me something positive to cling to when other things were going wrong. Thanks for all your support. Now I have a job and am the thinnest I've been in 2+ years.
Hey ladies! I am down to 151.3 today which is 1.1 down from last week AND TOM should be here anytime! A loss during this time is AMAZING since I usually have a 2 lb water gain so hoping for a really big number next week! I'm so close to the new decade I can't wait! Hope everyone has a great week .
Scarlett cograts on the loss and the job! Awesome on both counts keep up the good work!
