163 this morning. Ate at a restaurant yesterday so I know it's probably the salt. Oh well. Surgery Monday morning so I won't be working out for a while. Hopefully when I come back I'll be a little lighter
I think I'm at the point where I actually need to get off my butt and do something, calorie restriction isn't cutting it anymore. Ugh. I knew the time would come, but I'm a phd student now and I'm pretty much in the lab for a million hours a day and I already feel like I have no time to do anything, let alone work out.
when i first started, i just added walking.. 20 minutes
gradually its gone up to an hour because of how far, but just adding in that 20 minutes will make a big difference

Sigh!
I TOTALLY got you.
I'm a master student in cell biology and I'm spending so many hours in the lab, when I get home I'm so exhausted. I have to kick myself to go and exercise a bit.

This morning my scale told me 169 lbs!!! Haven't been in the 160's for like... SO LONG
I hear you, ladies. Fellow grad student here. It's really hard to find the time some weeks, but like lucid said, even 20 minutes is better than nothing! Of course, now that summer quarter is here and all I'm doing is research but no classes, I really don't have an excuse.
aliquot : (love the name, btw) Yeah, bench work probably helps a bit I guess... better than nothing! I almost all gained my weight during the first year of my master though, probably having trouble dealing with ectic schedule and eating in this ectic schedule!
