Well, I had a Whoosh yesterday, went down to 155.75 lb. However, then I fell prey to a tray of cookies... I had 4, and funny enough, with what else I ate yesterday, I really didn't go over my calorie allotment, however, I also had homemade split pea and ham soup, and while I didn't put a lot of salt in there, I'm sure that with the ham, there will be some sodium related weight this morning... ugh. Oh well, I'll try to eat super clean today, and drink plenty of water. Absolutely no "treats" today, and as for new years, not until we go out, and limited there! I think we are going to a movie new years day, and I want to be able to order my popcorn, so I have to really behave between now and then, LOL
Hi Everyone! I'm finally going to move on over here to keep myself accountable! Really Happy to start the New Year off in a new thread...I'm ready to say goodbye to the 150's and then 140's!
KenzideRhae - I hate when the scale fluctuates like that but you got right back down to the low 150s, thats so awesome!!!
Andejean - yay congrats on 155! Thats so great. Movie sounds like a fun way to spend new years eve. Still trying to decide what we'll be doing with my husband.
ToriJ - Hey welcome!!!!! Glad to see you here ) Definitely a great way to start the new year
shasha12 - enjoy your time with friends!! Happy new year to you too
Becki86 - welcome and congrats on almost being out of the 140s!
Ok I noticed that I have a serious case of exclamation point overload in my posts. Can't help it lol ) Hope it doesnt bother you all
Hello everyone! I just came back from the most lovely holiday and now it's time to get back to work. Shasta said it already, pigging out is definitely not as fun as it used to be! I'm still feeling ill from it all, gross. I don't know if planned cheating is the way to go for me. It seems like one cookie becomes 3 becomes a whole day of treats... I'm about to purge the last of the holiday leftovers out of my house, woo woo! Time to fill the fridge with the good stuff!
Hope you all have a fantastic and healthy New Year's Eve!
I haven't been here in a while, but I'm back. I just do better when I have the support and when I'm involved in some sort of constant weight loss discussion. I gained then lost 4-5 lbs since I've been here. My goal is to be below 130 on February 1st.
Andejean Man, those cookies are so hard to resist haha. I tell myself one is okay, and then I end up having 3-4. We don't usually have cookies around the house though, it's just because of the holidays, so my siblings need to hurry up and eat the ones we do have soon! Good luck with earning that popcorn.
ToriJ Hey! Welcome and good luck.
shasha12 I think a lot of us have been MIA, the holidays are crazy! Happy New Year
Becki86 Welcome! You're nearly out of here already, woot woot. Is that your son in the pick? Very cute.
LiLLy19 Haha most of my posts have a serious case of exclamation point overload. Everything is just so exciting on here! Sometimes I try to go through and edit it down some, but tch, they're all totally necessary.
fromthebox Very good way to end the year indeed, awesome.
Missjessica I hope you feel better soon! I know what you mean, sweets and junk food just aren't as good as they used to be. A couple is fine, but then anything after that just makes me feel sick too. Happy New Year's Eve!
LindsB Welcome back! I'm sure that increase will go back down in no time.
TinasGoal Welcome back to you too! Good luck.
Was 152.5 lbs at last week's official weigh in, 150lbs the week before that, and today I'm back to 150.5lbs. So I think it's safe to say I definitely met my New Years goal, and minus that .5lbs, I think I did a pretty good job of maintaining through Christmas! Probably going to see a spike tomorrow morning because tonight I'm going to yet another party and I'll be having some wine at the very least. One more party on the 7th (I think), for my friend's 21st and then I think the partying is going to die down for awhile.
Happy New Year's Eve, everyone! Hope you all have a great time.
I'm so ready for the eating/drinking events to slow down for awhile. December was a complete wash for me with vacation, etc. I can see the bloat etc in my tummy. It is totally pissing me off. I knew it was coming though. I totally deserve it, but it sucks! I am just hoping to get back to 146-147 by the end of Jan. Maybe these extra pounds will come off faster than I am currently anticipating, but I don't want to get my hopes up!
Weight is up a bit, TOM was suppose to start at the very end of December but didn't so should be here soon...already feeling the effects of it, bloating, craving, cramping...sucks. Other than that, this is the new year and I'm ready to get this journey moving again. Starting 2011 at 154.0lbs - 2010 I lost well over 56lbs.

That new low? yeah, it's gone. 160 even this morning, 158 yesterday. I figured that maintenance level cals on NYE would be ok. But ever since the end of TOM and back on BC pill on Friday, I've been at 158-160 whereas I was 155 on Thursday. I know its probably water/salt/etc but it is really hard to find the motivation to keep going when I eat on plan and hit the gym only to post a gain on the first of the year.
and its raining and i only get 4hrs sleep before I have to get up and be social for my roommates.
sorry to be overdramatic and vent, but I'm on the verge of crying here.
I'm on my last day of partying! I was at parties literally for 48 hours in a row on Friday and Saturday and until early this morning. Whew!
Broke my no alcohol streak (boy, did I break it...), gained almost 5 lbs of water/food weight (I was up to almost 148). The drinks and food were awesome, though! I drank more alcohol than water.
But the official weight of this week is 143, which is a new low for me! Yay! I'm a little shocked - normally my water weight takes like a week or more to wear off... oh well.
Gotta tell you, I'm SO ready to be in the 130s!!!
Happy New Year to everyone!
------------------- Andejean: Congrats on the whoosh!
Becki86: Almost out of the 140s is great! I can't wait until I'm there with ya!
KenzideRhae: Good job on maintaining, and on reaching your goal! And I hear you about the partying. Fun, though!
fromthebox: You weren't overdramatic - just the right level of drama, if you ask me. Weight fluctuations can be frustrating. I gained nearly 5 lbs of water weight and food weight this week (drinking, partying, etc.). Then it all dropped off suddenly this morning. Just hang in there.
