You will have to post a pic when you get it done. I am always been terrified of short cuts but then again my hair has been long most of my life. We already talked about my fear of change when it comes to my hair. LOL :)
So I have been in a rut. As we know I have been having problems cooking and prepping my lunches etc. I haven't been doing horrible since I have been getting veggie subs from subway when I don't have a planned meal in place but still. Plan wise, not doing so hot. Same with my workouts. I have been trying to focus on the training for the 5K in .... 16 days! Right now I can barely run a mile. Ugh, oh well. I will keep plugging away. |
Good luck with that 5K, Kay! I'm starting a training program for one next Monday. You gotta let us know how yours went! :carrot:
I've had bad experiences with short hair cuts (I turn into Insta-Boy, haha!), but I know I'll be tempted to lose the added hair weight when I get near/at goal. PICTURES, ADE!!! :D |
It turned out great! I have a picture, but it's on my phone and for some reason it's not sending to my email. I'll put it up as soon as I can!! I know we did talk about it, I love changing my hair, and I'm really easy going with it. :)
As far as dieting/planning is going, I'm back. I stayed completely on plan both Tuesday and yesterday, and I'm good to go today. Tomorrow I'll be on plan until Vegas. So I feel good. Perhaps a little worried about my weigh in because of my super-binge this past weekend, but I know I'm on the right track, so I'm not going to get down about it. But yesterday my personal scale (naked, in the morning) showed 172.4 (this is the lowest I've ever seen it). My WW weigh in is in the evening, so naturally it's higher than that. Kay - I feel you on being in a rut. My problem was perfection and not wanting to eat frozen dinners, but really, the crap I was eating was far worse than the frozen dinners, so I started there. Last week I just ate frozen dinners and fruits and veggies. This week I incorporated special K and soy milk. And when I feel better and more on track, I'll try cooking again. I really found writing myself that letter very helpful. I've read it a couple of times since Monday. Man, I was really down on myself. I've also made note cards with sayings about why I want to lose weight and ways to cope with mistakes/temptations. Just food (0 points ;)) for thought. Zan - are you doing c25k? Maybe I'll start on Monday with you. Exercising is non-existent in my life right now. I'm going to revisit the walking book from WW and maybe start there...Oh and I may be a little late or maybe I already mentioned it, but your eyebrows look great!! I love the glasses too. Can't believe October is tomorrow. And my 8 month "anniversary" with the bf is on Saturday. We kinda skipped our six month celebrations, so we'll celebrate in Vegas!! I don't know if I mentioned it, but bf's dad got us a flight (for free) and a nice room in Caesar's Palace. I'm a cheapo, so this is gonna be fun. Got my picture to work. Will put it as my pic in a min! |
Will reply again after I actually read your post but...
YOU LOOK SO CUTE!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D |
Thanks! It honestly looks better in real life, and I'm trying to get used to "texturizing" it...but I like it! :) :) :) If I get some good pictures from Vegas, I'll post them next week!!

Super cute. I can't wait to see how it morphs as it grows out too. That is one thing I always loved about people with short haircuts. You can change is so often! Sweeping bang, short bangs, short back, long front.... it's endless. :D I saw this girl who had my hair but kind of light brown. She had really nice highlights and lowlights but she added strand (or lock I should say) of purple and it looked really nice! I feel like she could get away with it in a corporate setting. I would LOVE to dye my hair dark brown almost black with a nice dark purple streak. One where it wouldn't even be totally apparent at first. Oh me and my hair dreams. wonder when I will actually do something about it. :D

I actually had black and purple hair two years ago! I loved it! (little purple, mostly black). It was way cute!! I can either do this flat (it's kinda flat today, didn't have time to dry before I attempted to put texture stuff in) or more wild. The lady made it pretty cute last night :)

Zan- I recommend C25k. I tried running a few years ago and ended up with knee problems right away but with C25K I didn't have any issues. I made it through Week 6 before falling off the wagon but I am kind of starting back up. I have just been running a mile or as long as I can. Right now I can't run the 20 minute runs. I make it to about 15 minutes before I cave and walk. Can I just say how crazy that sounds! ME... running for 15 minutes!? I am pretty sure I only ran a mile 2 times in my life before C25k.

I'm trying out 6weeks to 5k actually.
I'm cheatin' on you all with another thread 20-somethings october exercise tracker chat thread Will you forgive me? :^: :D So far I am only good for short stretches (Not even half a minute!), but I'll work on that. I managed a mile in twelve minutes 45.4 seconds a few minutes ago, so yay! Now I have something pre-training to look back on. And now I have something to work toward: Warrior Dash OH SO COOL!!!! Well, I need a shower, I STINK! Ew! HAHA! Night! |
Oh Zan, how could you!? ;) jk I frequent many other threads as well. Good luck on your program! It sounds like it has the same basic idea as the c25K. I think a 12 minute mile is pretty good! And I like that you have something to compare to when you are done with the program.

I'm down .6 this week meaning I am back where I was before my meltdown. 5% loss so far! I am happy with that.
