Well I made him weigh himself and since last December he has put on some weight, he now weighs around 170 which means he weighs about 20lbs more than me..yay!!
I figure after I lose enough to be a few pounds less than him I'll finally tell him what I weigh. I always make him look the other way when Im weighing at the fitness center. I think he has a pretty good idea of how much I weigh though so ehhh. lol He knows Im almost at 10% and how much Ive lost so Im sure he's done the math! Booo!
hehe i am so the same i weigh 7 lb more then my man and thats after a 35lb loss, but he's 6'3 so my aim is to weigh less then him and then divulge my new lighter weight...
I agree! Totally not sad at all! My boyfriend weighs about 8 pounds less than me right now. We started out at the exact same weight back in January and he has surpassed me in his weight loss. But he's really slowing down - mentally and physically - he knows he should be done. With his body type and height (6'0) he shouldn't weigh less than 175. But... he's in a bet with his friend so until June 1st, he'll still be losing! Haha! Can't wait until I catch up to him.
I definitely get how this feels. Even though I weigh less than my boyfriend now, when we first started dating, we probably weighed the same amount - and he had a good 6 inches on me. He was such a tiny little thing, and I totally wondered why he would be interested in someone with my body type, and stressed out constantly about how much thinner he was than me.
However - at some point, he gained about 30 pounds, has a little belly, and it makes me feel SO much better, even though he doesn't like it. But, now that I'm losing a little weight and feeling better about myself, I'm trying to encourage him to lose weight with me if he feels like it.
But anyway, the feeling of being bigger than your man SUCKS! Don't let it get you down too much ladies, but let it motivate you!
My boy has always weighted more than me but at my heaviest you qouldn't have known because he is ALL muscle, like 6% bodyfat which his doctors have warned him could be dangerously low. It's absurd but it's just his smoky build, I mean he does work out a lot but at 5'11" you would not guess he's 185lbs.
It gets really frustrating though because he's constantly trying to GAIN weight while I'm trying to lose, so meal times can be kinda tricky sometimes when e wants a huge plate of shepherds pie and I just want a salad!
That's part of the reason I decided to give IF a go, so we could share a big eveningeal without me going off track. He doesn't know I'm even trying to lose either (he doesn't think I need to) so IF keeps is both happy!
I think I weigh less, but not by much. He has a bit of a belly atm due to a knee injury resulting in surgery, but as soon as he feels like it, he'll lose it all. He is also like 6'0''/6'1'' with wide shoulders and such (I'm 5'5''). Sad moment was when he was joking around, and put my yoga pants on (and they looked better on him then me)
I used to be about 25 pounds heavier than my boyfriend.
Now that I've lost some weight, I'm about 10 lbs lighter than him. Yea!!
We were losing weight together, but he gained back about 5 pounds or so. Trying to convince him to keep going, although he doesn't have much to lose at all. He is 5'11 and 178.
When my hubby and I first got together, I weighed 200+ pounds and he weighed 140 soaking wet (and he's only two inches taller than me). Roles are way reversed now. I am 149 and he is 185!! In his defense, he has arthritis that prevents him from being able to exercise (it started his senior year of hs, he's almost 29 now). His arthritis doesn't stop him from eating healthy though so that's on him!
I have always weighed more than my husband. I was 175 when we got married, he was 135 (way underweight at 6'0"). Now, he weighs around 205 (much better for him), but I gained weight too. And, as I'm losing weight he loses weight... I may NEVER weigh less than him! Seriously though, I think he'll stick around 185 or 190 and I'll whoosh right by him one day. That'll be a good day.
I weigh 164 more, but that is because I don't have a man so makes him weigh 0
I noticed most of the men I date are around 200 lbs. Once I dated a guy that weighed 145 and he was 5'10" It was disgusting how much my 30 lbs more on me looked like 100 lbs!! I swear, my thigh was his waist!
i weight about 15 pounds more than my hubby right now but what is sad is when we weight the same ill still look chubby and he'll still have an eight pack! lol hes very big into weight building and the gym i think his boobs are bigger than mine! i've got to get in shape when we started dateing6 years ago i weighed 130 ish i intend to weight even less than that this time that poor fool isn't even gonna know what hit him hahahaha
