Default A Thread for getting out of the 160s

Hey Ladies- I haven't been around in a couple weeks, but I'm back and I thought a thread for the 160s would be great motivation for me.
I saw there was one for 170s and 150s, but I didn't see a 160s.

Is anyone interested in checking in and having a support thread for getting out of the 160s?

I'm at 169.4 this morning My goal is 135, but my mini goal is to see 159 because it's been waaaaayyyy too long since I've seen that on a scale.

I'm going to be joining a gym today (because my eliptical isn't doing the job anymore) I plan on going to a Power class two days a week and a cardio class three days a week.

Anyone with me?

I'm at 164.25. I was at 163.5 before this weekend, and i'm a little disappointed i went up, but it's not surprising because i was visiting friends and definitely ate/drank a lot.

Yaay for trying to get to 159!

I was thinking about starting this thread as I've been hovering in the low 160s for a month or two (I had 1 day at 159). It is my June goal to hit 155 by the end of the month, which would be more weight than I'm accustomed to putting off in a month, but hey, it's a goal and if I set the bar high even if I fail I'll (hopefully) be out of the 160s! I haven't weighed myself since Friday, and I made a deal with myself not to get on the scale again till this Friday since I was getting a little obsessive, but I think right now I weigh 160 and hopefully this will be the push I need to really break into the 150s.

I weighed in at 161.5 on Friday. I'm preparing myself to see the scale go UP this Friday at my weekly weigh-in, since last week I lost 3.3 pounds and I'm convinced my scale was wrong.

My goal is 130/135 but one of my mini goals is 155 - which I want to reach by the time my family visits on July 22nd. (They are going to be so surprised to see the weight loss!) So I sooo want to be out of the 160s!

My plan is to continue going to the gym 4 times a week (45-55 min on elliptical and a little bit of weight training). BUT, I'm going to start running on the treadmill too. I'm scared as ****, because not only am I overweight and suck at running, but I step heavy with my right foot, so my running on a treadmill sounds like this: *BOOM* (right) boom (l) *BOOM* (r). sigh.

I am in! But I was 161 this morning, so hopefully not too far to go. On the other hand that was down 1.5 from the day before, which seems unlikely, so maybe it'll pop back up tomorrow. I hope not as I find that demoralizing despite knowing there is nothing to worry about.

Count me in!!! I'm on a huge deadline I'm constantly thinking about (wedding in September)... My goal for that is 145, but I think I might be pushing it with the way my weight loss has been going (slooooow).
I've been weighing 165 the past 2 weeks or so, this morning I weighed 163, but I've been a little sick the past two days so I won't get my hopes up, since it's most likely water weight.

We can do it!!!

I was 159 for a mili second about a month ago and that wasn't good enough! I start boxing again tomorrow (after recovering from a back injury) and I hope to make it twice a week along with going to the gym 3-4 times a week. I want to be 155 by the end of July.. eek! Guess I shouldn't have eaten that pizza last night.

I'm in! I've been hanging out between 161-163 for at least a month now...time for some forward progress!! I'd like to break my plateau and get into the 150s before July (seems like it should be easy, but it's proven to be very hard!).

I cheated today and weighed myself on the scale at the gym, even though I said I wasn't going to weigh myself till Friday. I'd been feeling really fit and just couldn't resist a peek, and the scale read 156...yikes! I think most of that is water weight so I'm going to wait a week to officially declare myself out of the 160s, knock on wood. It's about time I had another big drop though--It's been happening about once a month for the last three months, where i see some very incremental and yo-yo progress, and then shed about 4lbs pretty quickly, and then hold steady again, so we'll see.
