I don't know what's going on, but I like it. I have been doing good exercise every day this week and eating just a few points above my target every day. I'm down to 276.8 this morning (wouldn't it be nice if it stuck around?)
I have been bouncing in and out of here for weeks, but today I hit 286 lbs and I have NO INTENTION to EVER go back over 290! I am determined to push through to the next level by the end of the year.
I've been hanging out (online, through Facebook) with a few fitness friends and we've been doing brief challenges to help each other along. We keep to a calorie limit and make exercise goals and are accountable to each other. It's been fun to challenge each other daily to make our goals happen. It's not about the weight loss, but rather, sticking to the plan. I have lost the most weight, but I have the most to lose. They're all at the final tweaking stages. They are so accepting of me and my challenges and they cheer me on every day. It's been great!
One of my challenges is getting enough sleep. So, if I don't quit here, I'll lose points! G'night!
Georgia - sounds like you've got a great support group, how awesome is that!
I'm happy to report that I've met my mini-goal as of this morning: down to 275.8. Onward! Well, hopefully more of just staying the same for awhile. I'm not going to be counting too carefully in France, but I will be attempting to maintain.
