Loosing more inches than pounds...my clothes are becoming looser and need a belt on my pants! Not working out as much as I like since I'm trying to get use to working and adding in time to workout.
I got my first teaching job!! So excited and I've been so busy getting ready for the 1st day. From trainings, classroom set up to finding my teacher look. I want to be confident and I can't be if I don't feel it in my loose hanging clothes! So Ive had to buy more clothes even though I didn't want to before I lost more weight, but my tops are a tiny bit snug so they can fit me better when I do lose weight, but still look fit me appropriately.
It's my goal to look like a different teacher at the end of the school year. Yay
It's good to know that the 270's has been a pain in the arse for more people than just me. It really is trying to do me in. I think I might passout when I finally see 269...seriously...

NO @#$%! Everyday I wake up and pray to the scale gods... Lets me see 269. WTF!!!! I had to go back today and do an overrall picture of August so far though so I didn't get too down on myself. 6LBS in August and there are 2 weeks left to go so I don't feel so bad, but yes I want to see 269.9 this week!
I think I "fit" into this group well. Are most of you setting mini goals? I am just getting going again. Counting calories, focusing on clean eating, whole foods and no packaged stuff. I cannot be this fat next summer. I just got home from vacation and I'm pretty determined that I will wear a bathing suit next summer - I don't care that I will not be "perfect", but I just want to enjoy the water and swim with my kids.
Nori - I definitely have mini goals - it helps keep me motivated to have small successes along the way. FWIW, I think you should get out there and swim with your kids THIS summer, wearing whatever you feel most comfortable in.
Seems like every time I make mini goals, I don't meet them and get really discouraged. I guess it really depends on the person. BUT, I guess you can count getting out of the 270's a mini goal. Seems like a supersized goal at the moment though, ha.
LebenAlles - for me, I try really, really hard not to set "timeline" based mini-goals, otherwise I too can get disappointed. I'm not always successful, but at least I'm better at setting very realistic ones now.
