You guys ROCK! Me, I'm exactly the same. holding pattern. I am frustrated a little now because, well, I'm doing everything and it isn't wanting to budge. I DID survive TOM between WI's so right on. Here's hoping for a drop next week. (The last time I tried Weight Loss I did Atkins and the weight FELL off. This time, I'm counting calories and working out 2 times a day and it's.. s-l-o-w. SLOW! *grumble* I know the whole muscle versus fat thing but I thought I'd have to battle that a little later in the game. I'm filing this frustration away under "If 5 lbs takes so much to lose, is it REALLY worth that __________?") I'd REALLY like to make my goal for Thanksgiving. Now I'm wondering if 2 lbs a week was just too ambitious. So I'm focusing on the second part - learning my body - too. I'm still keeping the goal, though. Maybe, just maybe, the woosh fairy will come kiss me in my sleep!

I had to post a 1 pound gain for this week. Stupid TOM, stupid chinese buffet, stupid cheesecake, hmph! That's ok though because I have already fought back off most of the 3.6 pounds total that I gained and I am not giving up.

Eh hem! You ARE NOT the same. You are down .2 lbs! :D In trying times, when gaining is as easy as breathing we HAVE to take maintenance periods (i.e., stalls or plateaus) and teeny tiny losses as a SUCCESS! You're working it girl!

A good week, I lost the water weight I had gained and more. 2 pounds down today to a new low of 217 and a mini goal of 100 pounds lost.

My goal is to lose 2 pounds a week which would equal 42 pounds. This makes my Thanksgiving goal weight at 184 pounds

Larry - fantastic! ! ! Glad the water weight is gone. I can't even imagine how I'd flip out if I saw the gain you did! Any test results that you're willing to share as to what happened? Congratulations on the 100 pound mini goal. I'd call it a MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT, however. I'm really excited for you to have reached this goal. Great job.

Roxy -- Sorry about having to report a gain. :hug: You are a rock start though and I know you'll recover quickly! Good luck in the coming week!

Mandy -- Nice job this week Mandy. I'm impressed with how consistent your losses have been even with the extended down time due to your injury. I can only imagine how amazing these numbers will be once you're back to 100%.

Larry -- Whoooweee! I guess that water gain finally left and took a few friends with it, huh? NICE JOB! And reaching 100lbs lost too!?!? FANTASTIC!!

Not much time for personals tonight. My official weigh in is .2 below last week, but I'm pretty satisfied because 1) I lost 4 lbs last week, which is more than I lost in the month prior...and 2) I'm retaining a whole bunch of water right now...so I can be patient and wait for my whoosh :)

Carmel Rolls and Chocolate Chip Cookes were served yesterday but not even one crumb passsed my lips!!! :carrot: It wasn't really even a temptation.:D

I am so excited about this challenge! Geez it's just what I needed!!! I may end up changing my goal to 225 though, I made it 230 not expecting the weight to melt off the way it is!
