Larry,

Congrats to EVERYONE, losers or otherwise this week. The point is that we are ALL taking that major step in bettering our health and it WILL happen so as long as you keep at it. So good job guys! See you all here next week:)

Angie 08-27-2011 10:37 PM

Trish -- I hope your DH is recovering well from his surgery. Congrats on your .9 :)

LBC -- Congratulations on your 1lb loss!

Lin -- I'm not quite on the track I wanted to be either, but it's trending in the right direction so I'll take it. We still have 12 weeks left, so you never know what can happen. The one good thing I found during slower loss periods was that my body had time to catch up a bit...my face went back to it's normal shape (it had looked a bit saggy for a while there) and my skin seemed to tighten up a bit.

Jami -- One of these weeks all your exercise is going to hit all at once and you will have a MAJOR loss!

Sarabrooke -- Congratulations on a 6lb week! You're doing amazing!\

LBC, Aprilsnow and Rennie -- I was looking around and I'm surprised there has never been a long lasting thread for those doing Dukan, you guys should get one started -- I want to learn more about how it works and how you all like it.

KarenJane -- :welcome: to the challenge!

Larry -- Sorry about the disappointing weigh in. I hope the plateau breaks soon for you. Are you doing anything differently than you have in the past? I think you'll look and feel great at 184 for Thanksgiving, I'm confident you won't be crying in the stuffing over those other two pounds

Angie I searched also there is one the Cruise Phase, one of the ladies said she was gonna see if the moderator would change the name to a more general name. I know it was done for our weigh in thread, maybe I'll ask also. I wonder if it has to be done by the person that started the thread. I'll check tomorrow

The Dukan thread is here http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/othe...t-support.html

It's been around for a while but I asked the Moderators to change the name to be more general and cover all the phases of the diet, not just the Cruise phase.

It's a great plan as far as I'm concerned, so ask away if you have any questions!

I'm down 1.4 for the week, to 222.8. That's a total of 15.6 since beginning this challenge and leaves me exactly 23 lbs away from my challenge goal (anything below 200 counts!!) But even if I don't make the goal, I'm still excited to be making good progress towards Onederland and with less than 25 lbs to go, I feel comfortable that I WILL get there, whether it's by Thanksgiving or not.

Sara -- Sweet loss this week chicky!

Karen-- WELCOME!!

Larry -- Boo plateaus! You've been doing this weight loss thing for a while though so I'm sure you know how to push through. Keep up the good work!

Angie -- Thanks so much for always being so supportive. I think my body is close to listening to me. At least it is if it knows what's good for it.

April -- Nice loss for the week missy!

In that case, I'll share another one:
Never Give Up! Every step you take is a step closer to success.

I got several of these sayings, and I copied them onto the back side of old business cards. Words of encouragement, I call them. Feel free to use it

Thanks, Nancy...I love quotes...not so easy to always follow them, but I do try!! :dizzy:

I WI tomorrow and I'm hopeful that, for the first time in two weeks, I'll actually be able to report a loss! ;)

Samadhi -- Nice job this week! You are well on your way to your goal weight! In fact, keep up this rate and you'll SO be there!

Cat -- Having come off two weeks of unexplained gains, I applaud your loss. Everything little counts in the long run. GREAT job!
