I hit 175.2 this morning! I'm visiting my dad, who hasn't seen me in 2 and a half months, and he said I look the best I have in years - probably since high school. I think I am about the same weight that I was at the end of my sophomore year of high school. I'm feeling so motivated - gotta get to 170!
I have a big event this weekend for admitted students at my school, so hopefully I won't slip too much.
Welcome Kat!!! Nice to finally see you here and on the 101 pounds gone!!
I have finally finished the semester from **** in nursing school. Maybe now that the stress is down for a few days, my eating will improve and the scale will go down faster.
Well I am back and had a good trip. A fun time and I did well watching what I ate- I gained .4 lbs, which I consider a success! I am trying to drown myself in water and try to lose any sodium weight that has accumulated, although I ate very little salt so I'm not sure if that will have an effect. I am trying to be 173 by Wednesday, which is my next weigh-in at the doctor's office.
Awesome job Underwater!!! That has to be a world record! only .4 lbs on vacation, and it is definitely water!!!
As I said over in 180's - I only weigh in now at my coach's office once a week - which was yesterday. So I have a week to wait to see a new number, but I am reinvigorated to keep moving forward!
Saying only 59 pounds to go sounds like an easy breezy simple task after the first 101!
173.0!!! Took 1.2 off overnight hahaha... must have been sodium!
Hoping to have a stellar weekend with my in-laws in town. I have 8 lbs to go to start the transition from my weight loss diet to maintenance... So excited!!!
After a weekend of going off plan - nothing too crazy, but I follow a paleo diet and everything at this event was non-paleo - I am still at 175.2! Phew. I was so happy to see zero weight gain. Now I plan to eat clean this week, and hopefully I can continue making my way through the 170's!
Congrats everyone - everyone is making great progress! Stay strong, and we'll be out of the 170's in no time.
Well... I've had quite the "whoosh" in the past few days. I am scared it won't stick and I'll be upset when the scale shows a gain.
Today I weighed 170.4. That's 3.8 lbs gone in 5 days. I'm not doing anything different, but I did go off plan last weekend, so maybe I did some successful calorie cycling? (Although I never really believed in it before...)
I am hoping for my office weigh in next Monday I'll be on to the 160s!
I am going to stick around this thread until after this next weekend at least because I am going to a wedding and could wind up back in the 170's. But, as always, it is good to see a new decade. And this could be the LAST ONE!
I am changing my diet at 165. I am currently on a very strict plan run through my doctor's office that I started in February. They have different stages of weight loss and once I meet my goal of 165, I am going to a more moderate plan. I am hoping to still see some weight loss, but it will be much slower. I am hoping to one day see 155.
Official weigh in yesterday morning was 178. So definitely in the 70s now.
I have been on this plan for 9 months and was really starting to resent the restrictions and the fact that I can't eat a lot of different foods. Chicken, no matter how many ways you cook it, still tastes like chicken. I have feathers sprouting.
So I planned a free day. Yesterday I ate what ever I wanted. I mean what ever. I had lots of ice cream, chocolate, chips, rice, pasta.... I was afraid to get on the scale today. I did this in hopes that it will shock the body once I go back on my plan today into loosing weight a little more quickly than a pound a week. That is what I am really really hoping for!!!
Most of that stuff didnt taste very good, execpt the strawberry hagendaz. I will let you know if it worked.
After a month of less than good eating decisions, I am finally back on track. I weighed in at 172.2 this morning! Hopefully I can move on the 160's by the end of June.
Hey there! After a month of unintentional maintenance and another month filled with vacation, awesome hotel food (seriously awesome!), birthdays and family get-togethers, I've finally made it to the 170s. So I'd love to resurrect this thread
I weighed in at 178.9 this morning.
Hi Beth!
