That's interesting that she said that. I've always been told by doctors that there shouldn't be much yellow to your pee unless you're taking a supplement. I'm under orders to go pee at minimum every 1.5-2 hours during the day. I have a bladder issue, though, so that's why - if my bladder gets too full, it gets difficult to empty. My urologist says that the 120 oz or so you're drinking is fine and healthy for "normal" people, but prefers me to keep it down around the minimum 8 cups, so i don't spend aaaaalllllll day on the toilet .

Sorry, just jumping in to post the WI - will be back later for personals.

I'm at 264.5 today, down 0.5 from yesterday. I'm now back at my low from last week, so hoping to see some new lows in the next days.
I also realized that the scale here only shows lbs in 0.5 increments, so now I'm annoyed that I might actually be at 264.3 .

Eclipse - Doctor's all have their opinions. She just meant it shouldn't be totally clear. She said if I look in the toilet and can't tell I went, I am probably drinking too much and my body is not using it so I can back off. I was peeing every 45 minutes, so I think that's a bit much. But it got me more steps in my day

Ona - I don't think there is anything wrong with not eating white bread, rice or saltines.. even when sick. You can have whole wheat bread, brown rice or even wheat saltines too! When I'm down right SICK, I want Mrs. Grass Noodle Soup. It comes in a box and it's horrible for you with the sodium and white flour noodles, but it reminds me of when I was little and my mom used to make it.

Cinci - lol @ the scale. I was frustrated with that too. When my old scale died I was so happy because I got to buy one with .1 increments.

Ona- hope you get to feeling better soon! Maybe your body wants you to maintain until you aren't sick anymore, that way you can celebrate your 100 pounds lost feeling your best! I remember you mentioned the other day you didn't want to lose those last 4 pounds from the sickness, so maybe the bosy listened! LOL

Diana: Nice job! I remember in August/Sept when you were in the 200 range and battling the creams and everything to figure out why you were stalling. Look at you go now!!

Kukkie: Don't let the number get to you. Just focus on how well you have been doing and staying on plan. The new gym membership comes tomorrow!!

StarGetsFit: Congrats!! I have taken a laxative last night to help me purge the system..hope it happens soon! I have a feeling I'll go down another pound once it does!! Great numbers too!

Aimee: I agree with you about carbs--my body takes them and holds them too!

Everyone else:

As for me, down .6 today to 192.6 again. Realllly working hard to get into the 180's again. I've ran 10.5 miles since Monday, so I'm hoping the small losses are due to the water my muscles are holding.

Good morning everybody! I am holding steady! I didn't have time to post again yesterday, but I did take my measurements. What a difference losing 23 lbs makes! I will compare them to August's since that is the closest to where I began this time. Measurements are in inches.

weight: 221 / 198.2
neck: 16 / 14
above breast: 39 / 37
breast: 45 / 42.5
below breast: 37 / 36
waist: 39 / 38
hips: 53 / 47
under belly: 47/ 45
thigh: 26 / 24.5
knee: 19 / 18
calf: 17.5 / 17
ankle: 11 / 9.5
shoulders: 45 / 43.5
upper arm: 15.5 / 14
forearm: 11.5 / 10.5
wrist: 7 / 6.5

I didn't have time to take pics, I will need to do that tonight. But I don't want to post them until I am done! I want a good before and after comparison to show! Or maybe I will give a sneak peak in March!

I posted this in the Exercise equipment forum, but I wanted to share here too. I just saw someone on this yesterday and I flipped out! Anyone have one of these? I want one SOOOO BADLY! But they are like $2,000.00! Arrrgh the agony!

Have a great OP day everyone!

Quick question: did anyone ever make that 90 calorie apple crisp recipe that I had found and posted in the September thread?

I actually just made it - it smells realllyyyy good even though I'm not an apple dessert type of person, but hubby is and I can't wait to see how he likes it.

Hi Everyone!

Jennie I think the mouth guard should help you. Are you able to take ibuprofen? That also helps, although it's temporary. Maybe it will give you some relief until you get the mouth guard.

Sunshine Great job on the .2!

Starbrite Congrats on the 1.7. How is your Son today?

Fitkristi Great job on the .2! Take it and run!

Sonshin69 Awesome progress!

Coondocks Sorry about the crazy stuff at work. It can be very stressful.

Kris Great job on the .2!

Stargetsfit That's a lot of stuff!

Ona Feeling better is the most important thing right now. That way you can get back on track with what you need to do.

Vixsin Congrats on the .8! We don't have any children so we don't buy candy for Halloween. We don't hand out any either. You have a goal, make a plan, and stay focused. That's the way to do it.

Madame Congrats on the .2. (there's something about .2 today. )

Shylah Great job on your .9! Great news about your test results.

Cincimini Great job on your .5!

Akelly Great job on your .6! I thought it was the progesterone cream, but I think it was because of the allergic reaction I had with my multivitamin. I eliminated some foods, too. The scary thing is that I will have to try those foods again sometime.

Lnoelparis Nothing wrong with holding steady right now. You had a good drop.

Kukkie I printed out the recipe, but I haven't made it, yet. Was it good?

I have to be honest, I planned 100% to cheat today, I was going to stuff my face with the worst foods I could find. I'm still struggling with the work situation, things get good and then they get really bad. BUT I stayed within my calories, I ended the day on the low end. My friend is going to fly out from Vancouver in a couple weeks to cheer me up, she's pretty worried. I actually thought about walking out on my job today, she talked me out of it

Thank you Diana3271 I'm definitely going to start wearing my night guard asap and as far as pain goes, I have been taking Excedrin. It seems to help some, but I do have ibuprofen as well.

Jennie - my mom has this routine she does for migraines - 1 advil, and then 2 hours later a tylenol. That might help you too, the advil will take down swelling and the tylenol to kill the pain. Hope you feel better soon!

Coondocks - I'm here for at least another 20 months. It's really my work situation that's the problem, my boss flat out hates me. And she loves to make my life miserable, she actually plots this out!! I told the store manager some of my issues yesterday about it, not that it helps. The solution may be to ultimately quit, but in the mean time I gotta suck it up since I'm on a contract. Love the picture!! I really wanted to do the grind but no one would ever attempt it with me!

I'm going to WI this morning and just accept the number, it's TOM still, and I'm a little sore. BUT it's time to face the music!
