so here it is, October almost over and I'm still at my starting weight.
Up to 177.8 this morning . . . . what's the deal with that?? Ok my calves are still sore when I go on stairs or stretch them but come on . . . . I'm just getting frustrated now.
I think it's time to tweak a few things. I don't think I've been eating enough this week. I've eaten the right things, just not enough so i'll start with that.
I'm toying with the idea of C25K now . . . I saw so many people jogging in Vancouver and part of me was wishing i was one of those people, so I'll have to start from the bottom and work my way up.

Doesn't help Im effing annoyed at work, some one got 'let go' and I'm having to cover her position so my whole schedule is out of whack. Shananigans I tell you.

BBL for personals.

Up again. 198.1 Don't know why.

All of yesterday's excitement over the new gym is gone, I just feel deflated.

235.4 today. Down .8

(I apologize if some of you belong to the same threads that I do but I wanted to put this out everywhere)

I also need to put something out to you guys that I have on my mind. Halloween. I love that holiday so very much. With that, I realized that Halloween is the holiday that I allow to ruin my eating every time. I go off the wagon and have a bunch of candy. Then you're eating/nibbling/exposed to candy for the next 2 weeks. By that time, you feel so crappy about eating all of that candy but then you realize that Thanksgiving is right around the corner too. And it just gets progressively worse from there until there I am again on New Year's Eve wondering what in the sweet chocolatey heck just happened.

I don't want that to happen this year. I put it out on facebook last night that I am not going to have 1 piece of candy this year. I want to be stronger than my "old behavior". Make no mistake about it, I am terrified. I have never had a Halloween without candy. Never. Not one. But I don't want it to derail me. I do not trust myself around fun size pieces of candy.

I have a very clear goal in mind as far as a time frame to reach goal and go to maintenance mode and I want to power through my first Halloween with flying colors so that I am not bothered by the rest of them to come. Does this make any sense to you guys? Thank you for letting me get this out. I just needed to put it out to you guys so that it's real for me.

BBL at lunchtime for personals.

Starbrite - how scary about your son! I hope he is doing better today.

Vixsin - grats on the .8. I'm not a big candy person, but those reese peanut butter cups. omg. I told my husband he has to keep them OUT of the house.

Ona - Wow. some people. Don't let them hate on you! How low do you go? If you don't mind me asking.

StarGetsFit - Grats on the poop!

MamaP - I didn't mention this before, but you can totally tell a good difference in those dresses. You are going to look fab!

Kukkie - don't get down. keep on keeping on. easier said than believed, i know.

Coondocks - stinks about work. i hope a good schedule gets worked out and you aren't overloaded. As for the weight, still have a week left in October. You must have done a real number on those legs!

Fitkristi - yay another loss. keep it up!

Sonshine - grats on your loss and welcome to the thread!

Kukkie don't give up! I had a day like that and then soon afterward a whoosh!

Vixsin, do you like dark chocolate? If so, I find that kids are more than willing to give it up because it's not sweet at all so maybe you can have a nice piece of something that is actually not so bad for you!

Down .2 today.

Considering adding yoga to my routine but I'm so busy... However I did it last night and I felt soooo good. I actually meditated for a little bit afterward. (I imagine this is easier if you are childless like me though...)

263.2 today, down 0.9.

Talked to my doctor while I was in for a flu shot. We went through my spreadsheet and looked at sodium and carb levels. She's not concerned about my sodium. I had bloodwork done last month and it was a bit low, plus my bp history is always a bit low. 100/64 normally. She said a 3000 level should be fine and not to worry too much. As for carbs, she said it wouldn't hurt to stay below 200 and see how I do. If need be go down to 175.

She also said she thinks 3 or 4 times a day is an acceptable peeing schedule, but every hour is not. She said 120 oz of water is way too much, but it's okay as long my urine isn't clear. She said it should have a yellow color to it. Which my urine doesn't a lot of the time.

So we had a good chat and I'm back on the wagon trying to see where I can cut things out to make it work. So we'll see! Just have to keep trying. There have been good changes. My A1C is down a ton, sugars, cholesterol all down!

Thanks Shylah and Madame - I'm just so entirely frustrated. But I realize I could be doing better than just sitting here and moping about it. I'm working from home today and don't really have anywhere to go later, so I'm going to cook me some healthy things for today and tomorrow. And then tomorrow I'm signing up for the new gym, so it's all good. I will get out of this funk. I may not make it out of the 90s by the end of the month, but at the end of the day you can only do your best. So I will. Thanks!

185, up .4 - but I was up earlier than normal today, which usually bumps me up a little.
