starbrite - you are doing great and you WILL get to the end of this

Diana - wow! Congrats on the insane workout. Cracking up at the "fanny lifter"

fitkristi - good job!

Kukkie - congrats on the 1 month 2 days of no smoking! And I'm sure once you figure out your gym situation, you will be back to losing those pounds.

Good job Vixsin on the 1.2!

Everyone else - congrats on the losses and staying OP!

I'm at 265 this morning - down 1.5 from yesterday. I'm SO ready for the lower half of the 60s. Staying OP is fairly easy here. The fridge is full of fruit and veggies, there are no sweets or bread in the house and only caffeine free sodas - which I won't waste my time on . Just gotta stay away from the stores and restaurants and I'll be okay. I think I'll check out the Wii fit this afternoon!

01: 200 - Yay! Still holding! No work out last night.
02: 200 - Ran @4.0 for 30:43 minutes straight!
03: 201 - No exercise
04: 200 - Yardwork
05: 202 -Treadmill walk/run 31 minutes
06: 200 -Walked at the zoo about 3 miles slow pace. 30 minutes of pedal boats on the lagoon!
07: 203 -No work out - fall break
08: 200 -No work out - fall break
09: 200 -No work out - fall break
10: 203 -No work out - fall break
11: 206 -WTH??? Actually I shouldn't say that....I made poor choices and no exercise for a week!
12: 205- Ran @ 4.2 for 15 minutes straight! TWICE! woo hoo! I made a little over 2 miles yesterday! And lifted for upper body!
13: 203 - Ran @ 4.2 for 20 minutes.
14: 203 - Weights upper body
15: 204 - 60 min @3.0 - I was "treadmill dancing" if there is such a thing?!
16: 203 - No exercise
17: 202 - 60 min @ 3.0 - More "treadmill dancing"! woot, woot!
18: 201 - 30 min Wii Just Dance 2 - OMG...SO FUN!
19: 200 - I jogged 67 minutes straight at a 3.2 pace! That is just mind boggling to me!
20: 198.2 - 73 min jog/run intervals on treadmill with hand weights

Good morning everybody! I woke up happy, smiling and eager to see what my own scale said this morning! I was very happy to see 198.2! I need 8 more pounds to my half way mark of 100 lbs! I am even more committed and so focused on getting rid of this extra weight! I am tired of my Wii telling me "Uh-OH! That's OBESE!" when i weigh in on it to play my games.

My anniversary is in March, I wanna look SEXY! And my 40th birthday is in May, I want to start my 40's fit and healthy! I really hope to be very close to my goal weight by then!

Good luck today everybody with staying on plan and making good choices for yourselves! Let's all try to get some movement in today, even if it's at our desks (leg lifts) or a quick power walk around the building!

Oh, yeah, I am going to take measurements today. I will be back for personals and post the differences in measurements later!

Cincimini Great job on the 1.5 pounds. I'm not sure if you know what a Fanny Lifter is. It will either lift your fanny or kill you. Here is a video clip of the Firm using the Fanny Lifter. It's the contraption they are steping up on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz78Q...eature=related

down .8 to 184.6.

Is there anyone else here who actually looses faster when they're on their period? It wasn't the case for me, but the last couple of months I've stalled a bit in the week or two before my period and then lost rapidly during it. I'm on something like day 12 of bleeding - it's really pissing me off, but my weight is still dropping, so I don't want to complain too much . I guess it makes it worth it.

Hello Everyone, LOL I'm on page 9.

I'm here for today that is. Family, work and life are fun for me right now. I have a ton of reading to do to catch up and I'm pooped so don't know how much I'll get done. In the mean time I hope everyone is doing well. My weight loss has kind of stopped I am still back and forth between 166 and 168, I'm gonna change my ticker to 168 and hopefully once I get alittle more adjusted to my new schedule I'll start losing again.

Vixsin Great job on the 1.2 pounds!

Star OMG that's funny. Maybe if we do the poopie dance it will help you.

Kris Great job!

Madame Drink plenty of water and stretch. That seems to help me with DOMS.

Lnoelparis Look at you! Welcome to Onederland!

Eclipse It's probabaly from the weightloss and excess estrogen. I have had really crazy periods since starting this weight loss journey. My gyno said that estrogen is stored in your fat. When you lose weight, you have excess estrogen floating around. It takes time for your hormones to regulate from this.

Love Hi good to see you check in.

Help me analyze!!

Here is my October so far. I do Sunday - Saturday weeks, so starting with the 3rd. I don't eat a lot of bread, though my carbs look high. I do usually have bread with breakfast or lunch though each day, in the form of a bagel thin or sandwich thin. Rest comes from fruit. I don't do frozen meals like Lean Cuisines. I make my food 95% of the time. I do have to eat out, there is no getting around it, at least 1x a week. It tends to be a salad or soup.

October 3rd 261.2

4. 259.9 Cals: 1857 Prot: 70 Sod: 2607 Carb: 229
5. 259 Cals: 1475 Prot: 79 Sod: 4611 Carb: 198

10. 256.6 Cals: 1116 Prot: 51 Sod: 2635 Carb: 142 (sunday, low day, busy day. didn't actually regard the weigh in as correct, since it was 3 hours later than normal)

I've actually called my doctor. I know my sodium is higher than it should be. I'm sure some has to do with my TOM due on Friday too. This is just defeating. I have a scale and measuring cups / spoons I keep at work. I drink 96-120 oz a day. Such a swing is crazy.

I'm totally going to go through and see what my problem is with sodium. Eating salads 3/5 days for lunch, but it may be the lunch meat I'm using.

I've actually took a break from working out 6 days a week this month to really focus on my food and make sure it's in check. I still walk / jog 3 times a week.

akelly - Glad to hear you are feeling more energized about weight loss!

starbrite - great loss! I hear you - and I have further to go, but if I think big picture for too long I freak out and quit everything completely. Day to day, week to week seems to work better for me.

Ona - You are hard to please You pace has been amazing lately, sorry to hear you aren't feeling so great though. Give yourself some credit, you are staying 100% on plan while not feeling great, that is the first thing to go for me!

Diana - WOW! That is some crazy workout lady!

Kukkie - 80% of weight loss is diet, so that's where I keep the majority of my focus. Maybe it's time to count the calories with more structure? You know your body best And I'm confident you'll get over this little bump!

Shylah - Are you counting calories as well? Where do you log them? Measuring things? I measure every single thing, even if I feel like I can eyeball it, I still measure, and I think I will have to always do this until I go into maintenance. Bummer, but so worth it.

Vixsin - you are have a great week! Congrats!

StarGetsFit - hope you get the movement soon!

Kris - nice job!!

Coondocks - you'll need to give your body a little more of a rest before you see the results, in the next couple of days I'm sure!!

cincimini - I was thinking of breaking out the wii fit this afternoon too, definitely a workout for sure! Congrats on your 1.5!!

Lnoel - SO happy that you got to see that number on your own scale - and might I say what a FABULOUS whoosh!!

eclipse - I am not one of those people who losing during TOM, but glad you are now!!

Rennie - We've missed you around here! How's the job going??

I was UP this morning, but TOM is trying to start. It shouldn't be, but it's trying anyways, yuck. 257.7 +0.4, not the 256 I wanted.. but gotta keep going! I am going to do my personal trainer workout, time to lose some inches perhaps. The bf's little exercise kick is rubbing off on me, hopefully it works in a positive way on the scale!

Shylah I have issues with sodium too, but we can only do so much about that. Your calories seem about right. I used this as a guide: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/1821967-post2.html I don't even know how much protein/carbs I eat, but I wonder if this is where the problem is. Your daily average of carbs is around 200. Just for me to get an idea, I looked up a few things. That's equivalent to 6 cups of rice or 4 bagels or 10 apples. I think that would be too many carbs for me to lose weight. I read an article recently about this. Of course I forgot where it was. But basically it said if you take in excess carbs, your body releases insulin to try to process the carbs/sugar. What it can't process, it automatically converts to fat.

Does anyone remember a recent article about this?

For those in this thread that don't follow the daily accountability thread - I have a dress update. Thank you to everyone for the encouragement you all give - some days that's all that keeps me going.

===========================================

I leave for North Carolina for the Marine Corps Ball in 15 days (ball in 17 days). I went in last night to pick up the wrap I bought and to try on my dress to see how it fits now. When I ordered my dress on September 1, I had to order the size 18 cause the 16 was way to tight (took two people to zip it up) and two weeks later when the 18 came in it was too big. Even though the 16 was still too small, I exchanged the 18 for the 16 at that time. Well . . . I now have to have the size 16 taken in. It's still tight through my stomach (not too tight though), but the top was gapping. They have to take it in almost an inch - I was thrilled. It will be ready next week. Here's a picture of me in the dress on September 1 (first picture) and then from last night. In the September 1 picture you can see how tight it is around the top (my fat pushing up). Now, no overflow around the top, no more back cleavage and the gathers lay across my stomach like they are supposed to (and no big belly button circle). My daughter made an appointment for us to get spray tans the day before the ball and we are getting our hair done the day of the ball.
