Ugh. I can't believe I bounced back to 187. Apparently my body LOVES this number. I have a bad cold, so not exercising, but definitely on plan. Something has to give....
ubergirl, the cold will make your body retain water, so don't take that number personally You will drop it off when you start to heal and get better. It is so hard to stay on plan when sick IMO... maybe some nice chicken soup will help you feel better. Get well soon!

Thanks, Lyn. Boy do I love the look of the 183....! You're inspiring me.
Home again home again. I'm back in the only place I've ever been able to stay serious about my health. Running with my favourite partner again, and eating healthy homemade meals with fresh ingredients out of the garden. It just clicks. Now, if only everything else in my life would fall into place to match!! I just can't seem to stay on plan anywhere but here.
186.8... but at least no more bounces to 188 or 189 so I think there is a downward trend, no matter how slow. Super high sodium intake-- I had pumpkin seeds and canned soup yesterday, so I figure when I get over the cold and get the salt out of my system I should see a drop.
Ah Friday night - nothing I like better than a Glass of Wine and a Chick Flick.
My Best Friend's wedding is on tv... but even though the occasional glass of wine is on my allowance for some reason I don't think I'll enjoy it tonight.
No sparkling water in the house either.
I seriously can't believe my indulgence will be some herbal tea.
Been a little fragile this week physically - think I'll get back into exercise with a swim and a body balance class tomorrow. Hmm Body Balance classes are always much more fun after a vino or two.
I've been bouncing between 189 and 186 for the past 4 weeks. Today 186.5. The good news is that with my BIA at the doctor's office yesterday, I found that I've lost 3 pounds of fat and gained 1 pound of muscle through that time.
I went out to a nice dinner last night (posted the menu on my blog), and passed my chocolate mousse to my little girl. Came home and had some nice hot tea instead. And this morning a new low, 182!! I am so excited!
Bounced up to 185.4 - which sucks since I ate a whopping 1391 calories yesterday but I had whole wheat pasta for dinner and I think it's made me retain water. Hopefully, it'll go away quickly!
I went out to my first thanksgiving dinner last night and have another one monday (I live in Canada, in case you had a confused face at that). I was determined to be good but there were no vegetables that weren't in things like biscuits and quiches and lasagna. I had a reasonably sized plate that I enjoyed most of, but knew I'd eaten too much. And then I had a small piece of zucchini chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. I don't even really like ice cream and the cake wasn't that great. I didn't finish it, but I still went up from 187.2 to 187.8 this morning from yesterday. FRUSTRATING. Motivation to be better today though, and to plan better for monday's dinner.
I have finally decided to do the calorie counting, have downloaded an app to the phone so I can track input and output.
Trying to work out my goal - but for this week - I am just going to track. Hopefully tracking will be enough for me to see what is sabotaging my loss.
I have to take the exercise easy for next week and a half (on medical advice) so it's a time to focus on the diet.
Today 186.5 (84.6kg) again. This time last week - that was the lowest I'd been in a couple of year, ( I got down to 84.4kg / 186lb on Thursday Morning).
Back down to 184! I record my official weight on Saturday - it's an average of my daily weights for the prior week - and I'm down 2# this week, which is HUGE for me.
