Still not my home scale, but 192 this morning. I know this scale weighs about a pound or two heavier than my home scale. Am hoping that when I get home, I'll be in the 180s. I've been bouncing a pound or two above my low of 190.8 for almost two weeks. Yikes!
Went out to dinner last night where I ordered a green salad and cedar planked salmon.... It came SWIMMING in butter and I woke up with a HORRIBLE stomachache-- I'm not used to eating fatty stuff.
I was ok on cals because saved almost all of my daily cals for dinner. Scale WON'T budge and I'm getting frustrated.
But I am feeling littler-- I think if I can ever get home and get back on my regular eating pattern I'll see a whoosh.
Rosinante-- you are doing AMAZING!!! I HOPE you're right about my home scale... but I'm at my mom's and I know that it's accurate and pretty close to my scale-- not even two pounds heavier.
Hellish week-- I've been eating meals out and skipping meals to try to save calories. But I have been careful and good and have managed to stay within my calories every day.... it's just frustrating. For the past month the scale has not moved a jot...
Uber - I am sorry you are feeling so stuck. I am betting on your home scale you are in the 180's too. I am wondering if all of the eating out is upping your sodium and you you are holding on to some or a lot of water weight. Try not to get to bummed about it until you get home to your own scale and regular routine and your body has a chance to readjust.
Rosinante - I am starting to get my passport in order too.
Rosinante, compared to me you are flying.
Envelope, you are practically out of here.
Uber, if you are like me, traveling has probably added a little water weight. You will whoose when you get home!
Looking up my weight loss for the year was a little depressing. I have to remind myself that I am steady if slow. I lost most of my weight the first year and now it looks like I need to be content with slow loss.
I dipped my toe in the 180s. Sunday my weight was 189 but was 190 today. My scale does not show decimals. I want to get a new scale but would be really depressed if a new one gave me 10 more pounds! Tomorrow if I get 189 or 190, I will claim it and change my ticker.
