Hi and welcome,
I struggle to believe I could lose weight on SW too, as I always felt so full, but I soon found that I could. Feel free to ask us any questions.

I maintained this week as expected, not enough exercsie and a few unhealthy meals. Happy that it wasn't a gain though

Really enjoying this weight loss journey.

Welcome Molly, good luck with your weightloss.....it is quiet unbelievable at times, but SW definetely works.

Been to the gym again yesterday and attended a slimming club they are offering there. Well on the manual scale I lost another 4lb since Saturday (wich of course can't be right) and on the digital one I lost 1lb since Saturday, which is fab. Will weight myself again on the scale in the other gym on Saturday, so I get an accurate reading....but wooohoooo.....also spent a whole hour on the treadmill yesterday, was absolutely shattered yesterday.

Hi all, I just joined sw online yesterday. I used to go to groups a couple of years ago but stopped when I got pregnant, but I thought I'd give it another shot

I fell off the wagon again. Mostly due to weekends out with friends - the constant temptation of alcohol and takeaways. I have a new boyfriend too who is constantly wanting takeaways and nights in. I've gotten sick of it. It got to the point where coming to Sunday morning I was saying to myself and others that ''I can't wait to get back on SW tomorrow''.

I am still following SW but I'm also detoxing at the same time. I want all the bad toxins out of my body so I can really start a fresh. This also means giving up smoking for me. It's going to be hard, but I feel I have to do it for myself.

How have you all been?

Hi everyone, I've just joined 3FC I previously tried SW 2 years ago and lost weight but I've put it back on again now but I've decided out of all the diets I've done this has been the best and only one that has worked for me. So Thursday evening I shall be stepping on those scales again.

Do any of you know how many sins are in a bottle of VK tropical or VK orange? As this is my regular tipple and I can't find the sin value anywhere.

Hi everyone. Just checking in! Everything is going well soo far. I have just made a wonderful pasta bake for my lunch and for after work. I used this recipe Drumms big pasta recipe from the ivillage forums really recommend it! I used mushrooms instead of bacon and did not bother with the breadcrumb topping. I used 1 tbsp of the parsely in the sauce. I also did not have any fresh rosemary so I used 1/2 tsp dried rosemary. You may have to have a search for it as the forum will not let me post URLS.
I have been sticking to green days at the moment as I really struggle on red days. They don't give me any food satisfaction whatsoever...So by lunch time I've decided that a tuna sandwich from the work vending machine is a better option then the lunch I brought to work!

Smile Newbie here

hey, i'm new here, just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself a little.

i'm Fee, I'm 23,Female and living in Plymouth, I was a member of slimming world last year, but due to moving about a lot and travelling around, i had to leave and its just not worth me rejoining.

Since i left slimming world, i seem to have put on all the weight i lost! even with rugby training a few times a week.

So... i've challenged myself to start the plan properly at home, as im going to work away in spain mid june, so again its pointless me joining a group.

if anyone has any tips for doing it all at home, i would be very grateful, i used to find my groups were very supportive and each week if i felt like slipping up, it would start me fresh again.

i also live in a student house which isnt the best place to be slimming..hehe.. anyway on with the healthy eating.

Hi, I am from New Zealand and we do not have SW here. I have managed to get some magazines and books here. They look really good. I do wonder though if this is a good plan. I look at the food in the mags for green and red days and think that there is alot of food. Is this deceiving? Which one do you lose the most on? Red or Green? Can someone also tell me if using the website without going to meetings is ok to do on its own? Thanks

How easy is slimming world to stick to and follow? I couldn't stick to weight watchers, i couldn't stick to Atkins, i couldn't even stick to a diet my mate and i made up ourselves. I can't afford the meetings but my aunty is sending me her book, she has said she has lots 2.5 stone, 2.5 stone is all i need to lose to get to my goal. Do you think this will work for me. Bearing in mind i live with my parents and to an extent have to eat what i'm given.

Thanks very much!

Lost 2.5lbs this week, and didn't do any exercise, and went out for a meal one night, so wrote that day off.

I'm well impressed, and I have been recommending slimming world to everyone!! I still can't believe it works!!
