Chouku, happy birthday!

Everyone else, great to see so many positive numbers and read so much positivity, keep it up!

I have nominated Thursday as my official weigh in day, so today is my first one and it is great to be reporting over 3.5lb loss since last Saturday to my weekly weigh in group. I have been on plan and mindful, but don't feel denied or ready to binge. All of which is huge progress..... let's hope it continues!

Okay, just logging my points on WW wasn't doing it, so back to Turbo Jam I went. A little sore, but finally seeing a drop is soooo worth it! Our family has suffered off and on since late November with colds/sinus stuff. This morning I am starting to feel stuffed up again!!! I hope that I can head it off with some vitamins and medication. It's hard to work out when you can't breathe.

Everyone is doing so great!!! You all are such inspirations! Keep up the great work!

chouku: Very, very close! That is still awesome.

takingcontrol: That's when you know you have it figured out and can do it for the long haul, which is the key...congrats! And, nice loss too.

MonteCristo: Great progress!!

boatingmommy: Nice progress, and it sounds like it was a great workout! Also, hope you don't end up getting sick again...what a terrible cycle to be stuck in.

VickieLou: You are making awesome progress, as well...good job!

Weigh-in was 279.2 today, so inching down a little more. I think TOM is officially over (fingers crossed), so I'm happy about that...lol. Definitely starting to feel less bloated. Other than that, there really isn't much else to report. Hope you all have a great day today!

Well done everyone!

MonteCristo you're racing towards target!
Boatingmommy Yay to TurboJam! Today is the day I start adding exercise back into my plan. I hope you manage to avoid another cold
opheliaphoenix Hoping for a post TOM whoosh for you in the next day or two, especially if you feel bloated.

For me, Thursday night is my 'Friday night' as today is my day off, so it is typically a night of over indulgence. I know, if I am to make this last, I can't deny myself. So, I had 10 chips with my gorgeous baked fish and veg dinner and then followed that up with a wonderful GnT and some delicious nibble snacks. I appreciated and relished every bit of it, and, this morning, the scales didn't reflect it. Maybe, tomorrow they will, but that's okay, making this real and sustainable is where I am at!

For my last couple of days off, I have slept late, been out and bought in treats and then sat around and eaten them. Today, I woke up early, the washing is on and bins emptied. I am about to plan my meals for the next few days and find recipes. Then head to the supermarket with a definitive list. Come back, clean up, go to the shopping centre after lunch to get a few things, back again, start my exercise regime with a light home workout, catch up on some work, soak in the bath, pamper a bit, enjoy dinner, relax and have an early night. I am really looking forward to it!

Okay, question...I have been on and off this site for years. How do you tag someone into your reply??? I would like to do more personals, but am techno challenged.
Worked out again last night...20 minute Turbo Jam and Biggest Loser toning workout...not feeling to sore this morning. But, now the weekend is upon us. Give me strength to stay on track!!! Hope all of you enjoy your weekend!

Takingcontrol thanks for the greetings and congrats on the loss, both you and boatingmommy

The scale went in the opposite direction after my birthday water consumption over the last two days was terrible and I did not exercise at all. It has been especially hot here in Australia and I have zero energy during the day because of the heat. I stayed keto for my birthday but ate way over my target of 1350 calories (1700). I got back on track today however and clocked 1200 calories and did 25 minutes of a full body workout with weights and 30 minutes of cleaning. Lets see what tomorrow brings I would be pleased with 227

I'm still struggling with sleeping before midnight Suggestions anyone? I would really like to wake up at 5:30 am to start my day but it is so difficult for me to sleep early, and alarms are useless with me lol.

takingcontrol: Thank you! I ended up getting that post-TOM whoosh this morning, so I appreciate that well-wishing. Also, great losses this week...I think 8 is your lucky number, lol.

boatingmommy: All I do is write the person's name and then bold it using the editing options, so it is easier for them to see that I've said something directly to them. If there is a way to actually tag people to notify them, I have no idea...haha.

chouku: Birthdays are a big trigger for gains, so I wouldn't stress too much about it...you got back on track today, so I am sure it will settle back out soon! As for the advice on getting to sleep sooner, I am of no help. I struggle with the same thing, lol. I'll follow this for other people's replies, so maybe we can both learn something new.

----------------------------------------------------------

Weigh-in was 277.0 today...thank goodness for those post-TOM whooshes! This marks 20 lbs down exactly thus far, so it was really nice to see that this morning. Hoping to keep that number moving down from here to finish off the week with a decent loss.

I think I'll have to readjust my minigoals because losing 7 lbs in 10 days is very difficult... but lets see. opheliaphoenix I got 8 hours today but just not in the night. I'm trying to find a tea or something that I can use to help me

Hi girls Just wanted to check in and wish you all a great weekend and congratulate you on the losses!

I am hanging in there, the exercise is going well. At this point, I am about the same from that first week of Jan. when I had that crazy loss of 5.2. I was losing a lot of fluids that week for sure. It's been 2 weeks since and we have 10 days to go! I plan to crank and eat lot's of fish next week so we will see what happens. Wishing you all a wonderful and successful day.

chouku Happy belated birthday! Have you tried chamomile tea? I hope it helps and you have a great weekend.

Snowed under with work, so no time for personal messages today, but logging my weight for the day.

I didn't expect to be so close to target so quickly, but I will take it! Tonight I'm having wine and sweets so surely won't see a loss tomorrow, but that is okay, I have time to get back down again!

chouku: I have heard teas help! I just started drinking green tea this morning, but that's for gentle energy and fat-boosting...I may have to look into sleepy teas for the evenings. Also, have you tried melatonin supplements? I remember taking those to help fall asleep a tiny bit easier when I had a really bad heartburn/insomnia combo going on when I was pregnant, and it was one of the only things I could safely take. I think I have some left in there, I may try that again too. I totally forgot about that until you mentioned the tea...lol. And, great work on the walks/exercise! That whoosh was quite the reward.

boatingmommy: Awesome whoosh! I'm sorry you ended up getting sick afterall, though.

Weekend Boater: Thanks for checking in on us, and great job staying on plan with the exercise! That's the part I have been struggling with most. Have a great weekend!

takingcontrol: You're making great progress! Enjoy the wine and sweets tonight.

----------------------------------------------------------

Weigh-in was 276.2 today, so that is 5.4 lbs down for the week. Not bad considering I was dealing with TOM this week...just thankful I got that post-TOM whoosh right before week's end, or it would have been another story! Haha. Anyway, it's storming here and my husband's foot he had surgery on this Fall is hurting, so we're not going to the gym today as planned. I need to make sure I still do something here at the house and not let this make me lazy, lol. Hoping we can pick back up our plan tomorrow. Also, starting to drink green tea today as thing of principle...it's alright, but I don't love it yet. (I think I am used to the bottled, extra sugary/fruity ones from the store that are almost as bad as sodas...lol.) I think I need to buy some fresh lemons, and it will be just right. Anyone else have favorite ways to drink green tea in the mornings?
