Woke up this morning at 224.0, so that's 13.2 lbs thus for the month (well starting Jan. 6th). With 3 more days to go, let's see if I can lose those 3.8 lbs to reach my goal If I don't I'll still be happy. This was a great month, and from now on I think that my monthly goal will be to lose 5 lbs every month.

opheliaphoenix - that's ok. Maybe its the yogurt. That water weight will be gone in no time.
Takingcontrol - you are my hero with those losses.
kelijpa - you are almost there!
ladyinweighting - congrats on meeting your goal!

I'm off to my walk now, but it seems that I'll have to do some light jogging some parts of the way because I only have 40 minutes to workout this morning. Not a problem, as long as I get my 5k in.

Hi everyone, mega busy atm getting ready to give a session at a national event tomorrow.... stressing me out, making me want to eat, but on the whole I am refraining.

Back down a little this morning. Happy with maintaining anything under 210 for the crazy rest of this month and then re focus for next month......

That is wonderful! Ophelia and Monty, woot! WTG on the 10lb. loss . Congratulations to everyone else as well for all the progress in many various ways and all of your accomplishments

chouku look at you go!!! That is amazing! Congratulations!

ladyinweighting I am sorry about your ankle and I hope it is feeling better now. Your doing so well, keep up the good work and I wish you a speedy recovery. I did something to my ankle too awhile back and had to stop until I fully recovered, I messed up an injury too many times to dare risk irritating it.

A big hello to all of you. As for me, I have been OP and will report my total loss for the month when I WI on either Monday or Tuesday, most likely Tuesday Feb. 1 as that one extra day may be golden! lol We have 4 more days to go! Skipping any outing with friends tonight or Mexican etc. and with that being said, for us over the weekend, may we all finish out the month strong. Catch up with you all soon, have a great weekend!

Thank you weekend boater I won't be weighing in over the next 3 days since I would not be at home and there are no scales where I am. I'm just trying to keep my eating on track, do my 5ks every morning, stay hydrated and get enough sleep. Congrats to everyone on their losses.

chouku: It came back down this morning, thankfully! We ate out tonight with the kids, but I managed to stay under calories, so I'm hoping that will help mitigate some of that sodium content by morning. And, you have definitely had a great month so far...already over 13 lbs down is awesome.

Weigh-in was 272.8 today, so 3.4 lbs down for the week. It was a slower week for me this week, but it is still pretty good progress overall...I was kind of in a tired lull this week, so it is on par if not a little better than what I was thinking it could have been. On a happier note though, my husband bought me a FitBit like I'd been talking about, so that should be here next week. Yay! I'm excited to try it out and see how it goes. This will be my very first fitness tracker of any kind.

Well I ended up borrowing a scale from one of the guys' girlfriends, and to my pleasant surprise I dunno where it came from I weighed in tonight at 220.6, that is 0.4 lbs away from goal yay! I have no idea when I dropped those 4lbs, but it felt wonderful seeing that number I hope her scale is accurate lol.

Opheliaphoenix that's great news! keep going.

TOM and yesterday's cheese, wine and cake saw me well up again this morning, but hanging on in under 210, JUST! Eating clean again today and it feels good. Hope with today and the last two days in Jan on track I will be able to stay under 210 and be ready for a positive February.

Chouku Amazing number! I hope it sticks when you get home.


Opheila Thanks, yesterday went pretty well, but was all about eating (charity cakes, complimentary cheese and wine, lunch out etc etc) so I decided to go off plan. I am very excited for you and your fitbit! I would love one too! I use a steps app on my phone, but it isn't anywhere near as accurate. Let us know wat you think of it. A great loss for the week overall, well done!

Twinka Two amazing results, well done!

As for me...... I don't know what is going on Well, I do, TOM and Saturday's cheese and cake fest are both making me retain water. Yesterday I also did my first weights workout in too long so I am achy today. Lots and lots of water being retained..... that is what I have to believe to be determined to stay on track and get back down to goal this month and then follow it with further losses. I am using this first month of daily planning of noticing patterns and will see next month if they follow around again. I'm not losing focus, but I am gutted to be back up above target
