Kenj--It's great that you went to church even though your were tempted to just stay at home and vedge out. Actually, the Bible teaches that God 'invented" the church for His "family members" to come together and worship Him and learn about Him and how He wants them to live. So you did a great thing. Hope you find it easier each Sunday and maybe your DH will see such a loving caring patient wife, that he will want to check it out too.

Didn't walk today because we have been waiting for the cable guy. He missed his appt. and will not be here until 6 pm. So we sat and waited from 1 to 4 for naught. Grrrr. Threw a monkey wrench into our plans, but, what the heck.

Eating so so today--B. 1 soft boiled egg, 1 sl WW toast, 1/2 grapfruit.
L. rest of the eggplant parmesan.
Dinner--Boursin, caramelized onions and fresh tomato "pizza" made with filo dough. Also another one made with the onions, Boursin, and olive tapenade. Just an experiment. Hope they come out good.

Well, the cable tech just called and he is on his way. So better sign off.

I have some curious questions :

How often do you shop for your grocery? Once a week, 2 weeks? How much do you usually spend? How many people are you shopping for? What store do you shop at?

In my household, they are only 3 of us. We shop once a week at Publix and Aldi. We will get whatever we can get from Aldi and the rest at Publix. This week I only spent $32.00 at Aldi and was very proud of myself. I thought I would be able to spend lesss on grocery this week since there are not much left to buy at Publix. We went to Publix today and I ended up with $114.00. So, I am around $150 which is about what I spend most weeks. I started to shop at Aldi because a lot of their daily stuff are so much cheaper but they do ot have everything especially fresh veges. So, I thought I could save some money by shopping in Aldi but everytime I seem to end up at the same amount as before. I used to shop at Publix only. Gerrr...So, 3 of us spend around $140 to $150 every week for grocery, most fresh stuff (plus household cleaning items etc). That seem quite a lot of money for just 3 people?? I have to admit, we are eating very comfortably?? I think I will try to explore other stores to shop to see if I can save some money. What about you?

TONI : I love staying up late to watch TV especially with dh, mainly because there is hardly any disturbances. No dd, no phone calls etc...lol. Glad you managed to sleep in today I am not really that busy but I would like to be more productive though. I can be very long-winded in real person too...lol.

GATOR : Dh have always been very good at attending church but lately has been slacking in going. We both used to procastinate in finding a church although we knew that is something we want to do. Somehow the church found us thru some new friends I have attended many church while I was back in my homecountry but never felt comfortable with them and was always making excuses (rain, too sunny...lol, tired etc) to not go. When I moved to US, we did attend some churches but didn't feel comfortable either. We were also lazy and didn't put much effort until when this church found us. I am really comfortable going to this church and I believe dh is too. Somehow he has been slacking lately but his good intentions are still there This is the first time (after so many churches) that I look forward to go to church every Sunday to worship and see what God has in store for me today. I feel hungry for Him and He has revealed many great things to me thru this church. It sure feel wonderful not having to make excuses to stay home every Sunday

I am getting hungry but still don't know what to make for dinner yet. Will go to kitchen to get some inspirations...lol.
