I can't seem to get ahead of the crazyness this week and get back into the habit of posting my points daily. I've not been on the computer when I had my journal handy since Tuesday! I've been good, and not gone over points since then until today, and today was just NUTS! I haven't been to the grocery store in like two weeks, so imagine all the food we have around here to eat! Yep, that's right, it's IMAGINARY! HA! Anyway, long story short, ended up eating purchased food for every meal today. I guess I've learned something along the way about choices and portions, because point-wise at least it's not too bad!

Early (5:30 ish): english muffin w/jelly 3pts
Late Breakfast: McD Egg McMuffin 7pts
Lunch: Subway Club Sandwich 8pts
Late afternoon snack: Special K Bar 2pts
Dinner (finally at about 9:00 p.m.!) DH showed up with pizza...OH NO! Managed to eat 2 small pieces then walk away..10 pts.

So, two points over, and I've only used 2-3 flex points this week. Guess it's not too bad!

On a different note, two small nsv's today. So Happy!! Walked into school and saw a teacher that I haven't seen since May. Her jaw dropped and she asked how much weight I'd lost. Good for me!! Only 18 pounds so far, but it's always nice when someone notices! 2nd nsv happened just an hour ago. Those of you who know me know I walk about 2 miles every night, rain or shine. Well, we got home from DD's soccer game at 10:50 and I was gettig ready to go for my walk when my spidey sense started going off. Can't put my finger on it, but was convinced that I shouldn't go walk. Now this was difficult 'cause I haven't missed since August 8th. Anyway, figured better safe than sorry, so even though I wanted the exercise I was staying home! My thoughts then turned to DH's elliptical machine. Last time I was on it was for 5 minutes in July, and I thought I would DIE! I decided to give it a try and hope for the best. I stayed on 35 minutes, the length of time I usually walk, and probably could've stayed on another 5-6 minutes!!! I was sweaty but not on the verge of death! Yeah Me!! Now there's no telling how horrible my thighs will feel tomorrow mornig, but for tonight...WOO HOO!!!

Congratulations boaters wife!!! Aren't non-scale victories awesome!! Sometimes it's frustrating when the scale isn't moving as fast as we'd like, but then things like that happen and we know we're really doing something great and people ARE noticing! I was coming on here this am to post my 2 nsv too!
Yesterday, I decided to stop at a store for some jeans, figured I owed myself a pair since I gave 90% of my clothing to my future sis-in-law as I "undergrew" them
I typically would go into the plus section, I was "so I thought" about an 18. I've come to the realization since then, that I was a definite 20 but wouldn't succomb to that number, therefore wouldn't fit into most pants I'd try on because I wouldn't go higher than an 18. Anyhow....I walked into the regular section, grabbed a cute pair of 16's, an adorable fitted brown cordoroy jacket (very funky) and about 4 other items...walked into the fitting room, expecting the worse...EVERYTHING fit!! I stood there, in the mirror in tears. It is the first time in a long time, I didn't have to try to shove 5lbs of cottage cheese into a 2lb container! I came home, changed into the jeans and cotton top and went to get my son from school....there were some of my friends who are supervisors in the office waiting to go on their shift, they saw me walk in, and when I entered the office they were commenting on my butterfly on the wall of Curves, showing how much I've lost.....they were talking about me!!!! Complimenting ME! I was on cloud 9! I saw my friend later who did WW, she's about 135# now, lost 28lbs total...I stood next to her, and I felt so confident, I felt like she looks!
Hubby went out last night and I drug my kid all around, got myself another pair of jeans, another cute blazer and another top! And some high black boots! I don't want to go crazy w/clothes as I hope to drop another 30 or so....but I feel GREAT!!!

Hey you guys!! It has been about a week and 1/2 since I have been on. I guess you all know what that means! I have been not so good. I have gained 2 1/2 lbs. Yikes!!!! I have been going to Curves for my work out. Sometimes I will even stay an hour to work out. I have a feeling I probably would have done much worse if I didn't work out. I have just been sooooo tired of the same thing over and over again. I will be getting back on track again tomorrow and keeping track of my points and posting. I just refuse to stay with old bad habits. I hope you are all doing ok. Sorry I haven't been around for support. I am back now. Back to reality!!! I honestly don't know what has been wrong with me lately!! Anyone else stuck in a rut lately???? I had been doing so good for over 4 months. The important thing is that I was only off for a week and 1/2!! Not months!! So I am gonna get back and be better than ever!!! I got myself all pumped with this post!!! Talk to you guys later!!! Buh bye

I completely feel your pain pacemom, I've been having a very hard time myself lately...Don't know what it is. I just cannot seem to stick on program 100%. I was down 3lbs last week, but up 2 1/4 the week before...I seem to be having a hard time, and cannot get past this weight. I go up some, down some...I've been w/in the same 5lbs for over 2 months!
Yesterday was good, today is so far....hopefully one day, it'll stick again and I'll be back on track.

AJsMommy, WOW!!! That's awesome! I believe I would've been crying in the dressing room too! I know I pulled out a couple pair of jeans from the closet this week as we had a bit of a cool front, and when I put them on they felt like they were going to fall off. Couple inches to spare all over the place....I didn't go shopping though, I just dug back farther in the closet. Found a pair that were too snug in the spring but are a loose (but not too big) now, and a pair that's snug now, but I couldn't have gotten them over my hips in the spring.....so it is just like shopping! Yeah!

Pacemomof4, keep going! YOU CAN DO IT! My dd's favorite phrase is "you can do it, put your back in to it!!" and I'm sure that you can!

I was just looking at my ww card, where it shows the weight you've lost/gained each week....I was 204 on June 29th, went up alittle to 207 once and then back and forth since, from lowest of 198 to 205. That is THREE months of yo-yo'ing ridiculously! WHY can't I seem to get this show on the road and PUT MY BACK INTO IT!?!?!?! You'd think, all the compliments, the looser fitting clothes, smaller sizes, etc would get me moving faster....WRONG! I just seem to lose sight sometimes of the end result...and eat what I know I shouldn't. Granted, it's not eating like I used to, but it's not eating on program either. I need a swift kick in the a$$ or something. Maybe I should try core? Anyone do core here?? any suggestions???

AJsMommy, are you doing the regular flex plan or the Wendie plan? Maybe switching between the two would help you out and shake things up a bit, while still allowing you to eat the things you want....keep trying, you'll get past the plateau!

I was doing reg. ww and then tried the wendie plan, I think that's what got me to splurge more, cuz I got used to some higher pt. days and liked them I'm so confused at discouraged w/myself....I guess all in all, I'm down 21lbs w/them, and in 6months, that's *doing math in my head* just about 1lb a week...so it's not completely awful. I just know I need to move forward.

AJsMommy I was in the same place for the past month or so. I had lost a total of 26 pounds and I was just maintaining. This past week I switched to Core and lost 6.2 pounds. I love the core plan. I am never hungry and all my cravings have subsided! I highly recommend core to anyone willing to give it a try!

I had a totally bad week - topping it off with chili and cinnamon rolls at my mom's house last night. This is an eccentric North Idaho meal combo that is actually delicious. Weigh in today and trying to be good again.

I bought my umpteenth journal to keep track of things. I am going to work out tonight, I promise.

Today: creamer (2), nonfat milk (2)
Lunch; skinny cows (6), sbdb (3)

points so far today (13)

I don't really think I need to switch plans so much as follow one. I do well for like 2-3 days and then throw in the towel for the rest of the week.

Today I had dinner early (tofu with veggies and feta), some crackers and have used up 23/24 points.

Oh, and gained 1.4 again this week. If you want to see an example of NO progress, take a look at my weigh ins for the last 2 months. I am right there with you all.

On the other hand, I don't consider it a platue. A platue is when you are following the program and not losing. I haven't been close to following the program for more than about 2 days at a time.

lentil salad (5), popsicle (1)

5 over my points for the day

Hi guys. I so badly want to post a ton right now. We are all so in the same place. EVERY single one of us from what I can tell. I am still 178, but can not seem to get back in gear. I have to go get ready for a girl scout leader meeting, so I can't post much. So, I will be back tonight or tomorrow. Let's just all keep checking in if nothing else. We all need to get back on track.

Hi everyone!! Today I did good!!!! That is biggie for me because I had been doing so poorly!!! Breakfast-plum/all bran breakfast bar=3 pts. lunch-smartone/plum=6 pts. snack-peach 1 pt. dinner-lean cuisine/salad=7 pts. Total for the day so far is 17 pts. I worked out at Curves and rode my exercise bike 10 miles. I will probably have some some canaloupe and a ww icecream for the rest of my points. Thank you guys for your support. You are all great. You are right Amy, it does seem like we are all kind of stuck right now. We can all get past it. It is so hard, especially when the scales are not moving!!! Anyway we will all be fine. We have all come so far. Thank you guys again for being such great friends. Everyone have a great night.

I am seriously considering trying core, if even for a week...Just to see. I agree w/you morrigan, I can do good for 2-3 days and then BOOM, I'm off the wagon completely.
Here is my weight from June 29th till now...I'm sure you can see my frustration.
June 28th: 204 1/2
July 3rd: 205 3/4
July 12th: 207
July 19th: 204 1/2
July 26th: 201 1/2
Aug 2nd: 201 1/2
Aug 9th: 200 3/4
Aug 16th: 200
Aug 23rd: 198 1/4
Aug 30th: 200
Sept 6th: 202 1/4
Sept 13th: 199 1/4

Basically for almost 3 months I've been w/in the same 6lbs, up and down up and down. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Look on the bright side - at least you weigh less than you did in June. I am up 4 lbs again from my June weight.
