Well, I worked off some of that banana bread (I think). I cleaned my master bath. Woo!! I took down all of the towel bars. So I used arm muscles for that. I cleaned both sinks, the camode, the tub, and spent an hour alone on the shower. I have one of those glass shower enclosures. It has had hard water spots for about the last 5 years now. Have never been able to get them off. I had tried several different cleaners and sponges. Today, I finally tried Kaboom with one of those white scratchy things. It took a ton of elbow grease, but they are perfectly see through now. This is a great accomplishment for me. :carrot: I cleaned from about 9:30 to 1. That had to have burned a point or two of that darn bread.
Snack a bit of ff cool whip between two low fat Graham crackers and frozen 1pt lunch ww smart one salsbury steak and mac n cheese 5pts. I have 11 points left for dinner. Should work out fine. I am going to stir fry chicken breasts, peppers, onion, squash, garlic, and black pepper in olive oil. Will serve it on a warm wheat pita (used like flat bread, not stuffed). This is my version of something I had at a bar and grill. It was yummy and about 5 or 6 points. Off to take my 4 year old to a well visit. 4 shots for him. :( He does not know that yet. Will check in after dinner. |

You have to have worked off a good portion of that bread!! I wish I could say the same! We've had nothing but rain and I 'm getting sick and tired of it! Doesn't do anything for motivation to do much...I can honestly say that I've wasted most of today. I'm heading off to the store to get the ingredients for WW Chili - - I've "snacked" on too many 2 pt snacks today - and while I've still got points left for dinner; I don't feel that I've had a very healthy day. I've got WI on Saturday - 2 weeks, 11 pounds down; hoping to have some "results" this week as well! Oh, I'd suggest buying one of those shower sprays that you use after each shower. Now that your shower is clean, you wouldn't want to have to do all of that scrubbing again! My mom uses one, and it really has helped with her shower. |
Amy, you dinner sounds awesome!!! And very low in points!! I am sure you got your workout today with the cleaning and the shots for your little one! Those shots can be rough! Poor baby. I may venture out Elizabeth and try that 2 pt chili too!! Sounds good!!! Sherrin, I feel sure you will do great on your next weigh in! I think exercise definately kicks ww into gear! I ride my stationary bike too. I turn on the tv and I am good to go. Sometimes I even read. well here goes for today... breakfast-o pts lunch-2 sandwiches/fat free chips/ww fudge pop=10 pts. dinner-lasagna and greenbeans=5 pts. snacks-watermelon/ww fudgepop/dry froot loops=7 pts. total is 22 pts. today. I rode my stationary bike 20 miles. See ya'll tomorrow!!!! Everyone try and keep trying!!!

Oh my gosh! I am pooped! So darn tired. Stayed up late last night. Up early this morning. Have been working my tail off. Wouldn't that be nice if it were a reality? Anyway, I painted the patch work my hubby had to do with the speaker installation. I put some clothes away. Have not sat down much at all today. I did not swim those laps I spoke of. I stood still in the pool and chatted with my mom and dad instead. My mom worked her last day ever today. She turned 55 on May 31st, and retired today. LUCKY!!! I am a stay at home mom, but will go back to work when the kiddos are older. Have not decided when though. I did get an offer today from a friend to do some book keeping from home. It would pay 10-15 thousand a year. I would LOVE to do that. It would be nice to contribute to the household financially but still be home with my babies (well, 4 and 6 year olds).
Enough of my junk......here goes the rest of the day dinner as described earlier today 5pts snack some girl scout cookies (mom still had some frozen) 3pts grahm cracker cool whip thing 2 I am out of points for today. Did not make best use of them. Look forward to a good work out tomorrow and a healthy eating day. NO MORE COOKIES Until then........---Amy |
Hi everyone!
I'm sorry I haven't been posting much lately. I'm still working the plan and doing my best to stay on point, even though I've met my WW goal now. I weighed in on Wednesday and I was down 1.8 pounds. Still can't get down to the 120's, though. Maybe next week. The weight loss has definitely slowed in the past month. I've decided I want to try to get to 125 lbs and see how that looks. We took some "after" photos, but as far as I'm concerned I still look pudgy in them. Especially my arms - ugh! I haven't been able to get to Curves for the past two weeks because I haven't had anyone to watch my daughter. I need to figure out an alternative. Anyway, I'm sorry if I worried any of you. Thanks, Buffalo, for the PM. It was nice to know you were thinking about me. Have a good night. |
Heading off to camp with my son - back here to meet a friend to walk! It's finally a gorgeous day! Thought we are expecting temps in the 90's for a while! My struggle of the day is going to be the parents/campers closing ceremonies! SUNDAES!! I'm going to save a few points from b'fast and lunch - and of course the walk will help - and I will do my best to only have a few BLT's (bites, licks, taste) of the ice-cream....
Have a great day everyone! |
Liz, I am so glad to hear you are doing ok.
Elizabeth, I try to take bites from my kid's and husband's "bad" foods. I don't even serve anything for myself. It works. I get the taste, but don't over do it. Good luck to you with that. Breakfast oatmeal 3pts This went well considering I bought the kids powdered mini dough nuts and they also ate left over banana bread. Lord knows they can both use it. My four year old only weights 33 pounds and my six year old weighs 43. She went to kindergarten last year in her 5-point harness car seat. I still give them whole milk too. Anyway, until later.......... |
Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't checked in for a couple of days. We have 1 week a month at work that is just insane . I'm a stress eater and I really got out of control this time. I'm too ashamed to tell :o I did manage to get to Curves 2x and plan to go in the am. As I say "A slip up is no reason to give up." I should be back op when I cool off, restup and calm down...lol It's hot today! I think the said 104f earlier. The AC went out in our building yesterday and they haven't fixed it yet. I'm glad I sit next to the door. Later |

Doing alright today so far. Still have dinner left to go, but don't imagine I'll go over point.
I've had: pancake w/ blueberries - 2pts 12oz skim latte - 2pts ham and spinach sandwich on WW baguette - 3pts 1/2 banana - 1pt 100 Cal. Pack Chips Ahoy - 2pts Balance 100 cal bar - 1pt So 11 points total. I have 9 points left for dinner. Didn't get to workout again today, but my daughter has camp for three afternoons next week so I can go to Curves then. Yay! |
UGH! I am not having a very good day. For lunch, I had 3 slices of pizza at our water park. We have season passes there and I take the kids every Friday. Took the kids to Wendy's for dinner. I had a baked potato with sour cream and chives. I think the book said 7 points for that. Then I took them for frozen yogurt. I could have skipped the toppings, but I got Reece's peanut butter pieces. Oh well. I guess it wasn't horrific now that I see it. That is just not how I lose 2-3 pounds a week. Sherrin, I am in the same boat with you on the weekends. Tomorrow the kids are going to my gym. They host parent's night out once a month. We try to take advantage of that and have some "grown up time." I want to go to a local bar and grill for dinner and a couple light beers. Should not do it. We will see. Maybe we can go drive go-carts instead.
On a positive note, I got a fancy Polar heart rate watch today. It keeps track of heart rate and calories burned based on age, weight, height, etc. It has a strap with electrodes that goes around your chest. Pretty funky. Can't wait to use it. I have always wondered what kind of calories are getting burned when I work out with the trainer. Anyway, I am gonna run for now. I am tired. Have a good night. |

Hello everyone! :)
Sorry, that I don`t post last week,I`m started to work last Tuesday, and I am pressed for time.My diet is going very bad,I`m eating a lot,and I dont know how to stop at weekend ;( |
Hi all! Just got back from weigh in. Lost 1 pound. Yeah, wished it were more, but when I think of it as 4 sticks of butter - and then add up the 48 sticks of butter (12#) I've lost in the past 3 weeks; it sure is a great feeling!! I think my "problem" this week actually was that I didn't eat enough. I had far too many days that I had 5 points left over, and failed to add into the daily count any activity points. I'm really going to try this week eating all my points; not necessarily all the flex points. I've read that many people say they do better if they eat all allowed points. I'm sure something has to do with each individual's metabolism... Laura - don't be so hard on yourself! Keep to a daily plan, or even hourly plan if it helps. I try not to think of this as a "diet" but that it's a conscious attempt to improve my overall health - and losing weight is just a pleasant part of it! We're all here for each other - I find this group very inspiring. It's pretty hot here already - I'm glad I've got the lawn to mow;it's going to force me to walk...Hope you all are having a good day!
That's all from me for now! |
