Hi Everyone:

Well, now that basketball camp is over and no more parties are on the near horizon I can get back to focusing on the exercising and posting what I am eating.

I will tell you that today at wi I had a 1.7lb weightloss in spite of my crazy week. So that is 3.3lbs in 3 weeks. I'm happy today! Especially since I didn't see anything significant last week and I was working so hard. I almost didn't wi because of the crazy week. So I guess I did better than I thought.

I ate out three times last week and had a pizza pool party to go to on Saturday. I had 4 slices of pizza and two choc. cupcakes (so delicious). I cooked a delicous meal and made a lemon tart with lots of berries on it for my daughter's birthday yesterday. But I did try at every sitting to eat carefully. I didn't post points for a few days because I was so busy. Hopefully I'll do better this week.

B - 1 Egg (2) 2 Slices of WW Bread (1) 1 Tbls Lite Marg. (1) - 4 pts so far.

Morrigan....when you do the Wendie plan, is it necessary to do the exercise along with it? I was just wondering in case I have a week where I can't fit it in everyday?

Does anyone know how I can keep the weightracker on the bottom of my posts. Currently I keep having to go in and putting it into every post.

Will post rest of points later today
.

Have a great day!

How do you guys get those cute dancing icons on your posts?

Good Morning!

I'm into my second week of WW now and feeling really good about it. I had my first weigh-in this past Saturday and was happy to see the loss. The gal that weighed me was so sweet and supportive too. :)

It looks like many of you are doing just an awesome job! Wonderful! It's great to read all the positive comments.

I'm tracking my points in the little QuikTrak System pamphlet they gave me and that seems to be working quite well. I used 11 flex points this weekend and will spread the rest out through the week days. That seemed to work really well last week. Use a good of the flex points for some family meals on the weekend and then scatter the rest out later on.

It's nice to look forward to a special dinner on Saturday evening.

Happy Monday to all!

I figured it out, now you're all going to be bombarded with icons :)

morrigan 07-31-2006 03:47 PM

Hi everyone. I finally lost weight this week. Only 0.6, but I actually wore real clothes to weigh in. I have been weighing in nearly nude (or as close as you can get without getting thrown out of the meeting). I have even taken off my bra in the car to save an ounce or two. Anyway. I figured as long as I was back on track I ought to start dressing like I wasn't scared. So I wore some light jeans and a tank top. I still took off my shoes, but at least I have a new weigh in outfit to be consistant with. Then I went and left my keys in my pocket (dingleberry). I met Voodoo! It is really nice to put a face to a name, especially here in cyberland.

Today: No breakfast - I usually do that on weigh in days.
Latte - (2)
cottage cheese (2) and tofu (4) - a high protien fill you up kind of lunch
I am going to get another latte (3) on my way to the beach and maybe a swim.

I put my gym membership on hold less than a month ago and now am really regretting it. But since there is a fee to do so and to reactivate, it seems silly to turn it off and on in the same month.

The Wendie plan is just a structured method of distributing your extra points. As for exercise. All weight loss plans are better with it - but you can still lose doing WW without exercise.

more tofu (2)

dinner: chicken (6), beans (2) over a salad (0), fruit (1)
oat bran cereal with blueberries (3)

25 point day

I went to Curves this morning, and weighed in there, just to see if I've lost since last Wed, and it looks like I haven't, which is discouraging as I really really want to hit 199 by Wed. Oh well, I still have 2 days.
B: Slim fast/banana/oil 6pts
L: apple w/pb 6pts (I ate alot of pb!)
S: ww yogurt 1pt
D: 1c. spaghetti sauce 4pts, noodles 3pts, garlic bread 3pts
S: pineapple angel food cake 3pts
I did get all my fruits/veggies/oil and milk in...so that's good.
It's only 4pm, but I have my dinner/dessert planned as in-laws are coming for dinner....I pray I won't be hungry after dessert, cuz I have no pts left :(

It will be an early night in bed, just to get past the thought of "no more food allowed" isn't that silly how we think!!

Oh wait, I went to Curves, that's 2 AP :) so if need be, I can eat something small later.

snowgal 07-31-2006 04:53 PM

Doing alright today. I've done pretty well this whole week, actually. Only used 4 flex points so far.

Today:

12oz skim latte - 2pts
Kashi oatmeal - 2pts

ham & spinach on WW baguette - 3pts
1/2 banana - 1pt

Jennifer - I'm glad you got to Curves today. I'm afraid I won't be able to go again today. I don't have anyone to watch my daughter. School starts later this month and although I'm going to miss Lily, it will be nice to get back to my work-out routine.

I am sooooo sore today! I made it to the gym yesterday; I did 1/2 hr on the eliptical and then decided to try out a spinning class. OMG my tush hurts from the seat! I loved the class, though (they told me that your butt gets used to the seat after a few classes, so I'm definately going to try it out again!) It was a 45 min long class, so between that and the eliptical, I earned 10 activity pts (if that wasn't high intensity, I don't know what would be!) After the spinning class I also did some arm weight machines (I always try to do flyes when I go...they say it makes your boobs bigger! LOL!)

Today should be a good points day. I have 12.5 left till dinner, but I'm going to be busy today. I'm meeting up with a friend who has a 4 yr old also and we're going to take the kids to a Beauty and the Beast ballet. After that we're going back to my friend's house so the girls can swim (it's going to be 100+ here today...rare occurance for NY) and have lunch. My friend is trying to lose weight, too, so I know she'll have healthy things there.

For those of you who live where it's always hot.....don't know how you do it! We don't have AC in the house, so when it's this hot there is nowhere (except Walmart! LOL!) to go to get some relief. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Hope everyone has a successful day!

morrigan 08-01-2006 10:56 AM

Well - I just felt dorky because it took me so long to remember seeing you at meetings before.

I am going to start up a challenge thread for anyone who wants more to do and 2 places to post.

I did a really dumb thing this morning. I made rolls for the kids. I was out of cinnamon so they got rolls with orange zest, dates and cardamom. Way to good. I had one really small one - that is it!

Oatbran cereal with fake sugar and creamer (3)
Small roll (3), coffee with creamer (1)
more oat bran cereal (3), another small roll (4)
