You've got a great attitude! I don't think one over point day will do much to the scale. I had one day like that this week too - My husband and I went out for a romantic, Italian dinner alone. Worth every last point! Sometimes (so I've been told) one day with higher points each week actually helps to kick-start your metabolism and help you to lose more. I don't have any definite proof of that, so don't quote me! LOL!

It's funny, I sometimes wonder why I'm not discouraged, that this time around on WW, it's taking so long to lose...last time I was down 43lbs in 4 months, this was week 14 for me and I'm down 15...but I know now, that this is a lifestyle change, and not a quick fix to a problem I quickly did...it took time to get to this weight and it will take time to get back down...which is why bad days don't get to me, it's life...we'll have days when we just want to blow the program, and as long as we don't make it weeks...we'll be just fine. I'm over by 2pts today I figured out, which isn't bad...but no veggies/fruit/oil or milk...I did, however, get all my water in and a short walk.
This definitely is a program you can follow, they say 1/4lb-2lbs a week is good...I'm doing about 1, so I'm doing just fine :D
I WILL be in a sexy black dress for the christmas party season, THAT is my goal!

That's a great goal AJsMommy! It was after last year's Christmas party, when I saw the photos, that I *KNEW* I had to lose weight. Took me a while to find a diet that would actually work for me, but I finally decided to give WW a shot and I'm really happy with how easy it is to follow. I'm still nowhere near skinney (I'm only 5'1" tall) but I at least look healthy now, and that was my main goal.

My reward to myself for meeting goal is a tattoo! I'm 39 years old and I've never had a tattoo, so I'm scared and excited. I plan on going to check into it this weekend. Probably won't get it until next month, because I want to take some time picking out what I'm going to get. I want to get a small, lily flower (My daughter's name is Lily).

AJsmommy, This is my second time on ww and I feel the same way you do. I had to finally realize that I am never going to be able to eat what I want when I want all the time. Like you said, this is a lifestyle change. Before, I would lose my weight and then go right back to old habits. I had to realize that I would never be able to do that again. I guess I have been a slow learner. :D

Lunch-salad w/crab meat=2 pts. snack-orange and ww fudgsicle=2 pts dinner-tuna casserole smartone and greenbeans=5 pts. snack-mini sweetarts=4 pts. snack-yoplait yogurt and cereal bar-2 pts. & ww choc. cake=1 pt. ww fudgesicle 1 pt. Total for today is 20 pts. I rode my bike for 40 minutes. Have a good night.

pacemom, How are those yoplait yogurt and cereal bars?? They're frozen, right? I saw them at the store yesterday and contemplated getting some...but I've got so many different snacks that fit my pts now, I'll have to wait to use those up first :)

AJsMommy, The berry ones are good, I haven't tried the strawberry ones. I think the strawberry ones have more calories. The berry ones have 2 pts.

I have been starving today!!!! I hardly ever use all of my points, but today I did! I think maybe I am getting close to t.o.m. that is usually when I am soooo hungry. I still did good though. I stayed right at my points. breakfast-none lunch-smartone and cucumbers=6 pts. snack-fudgsicle 1 pt.dinner-smartone and broccoli, and orange=7 pts. snack-mcdonalds ice cream cone and mini sweetarts-7 pts. snack-ww fudgsicle 1 pt. and 2 ww choc cake.=2 pts. The total points for today is 24. Today I did not go bike riding because I went took my kids swimming this afternoon, I was too tired for bike riding!!! Hopefully tomorrow I can get back to my bike riding. Hope everyone had a great day. Have an awesome tomorrow!!!

Hi all. I have been off for a couple of days. Partly because I am busy. Partly because I am off program! My darn track record is killing me. One week on, one week off. I am a perfect example of the stock market. Up and down. Only, my general graph is moving down and not up. That is the good part.

My husband is gone. This is one reason for my faltering over the past two days. I just hope he brings back lots of fish.

I have been great today. I went to the gym. Did my 35 minutes with trainer and an additional 20 on the stair master.

Now, I am inside for a break from raking our rocks from around our house. We are extending our back patio and have to move all of the gravel so the pavers can be laid. It is hard work in 109 degree weather. I am drinking a ton and working 15 minutes, and resting inside minutes. People get heat stroke and heat exhaustion out here really easy. I am trying to avoid that.

Breakfast
oatmeal 3pts

Snack
1/2 small apple with 1Tbs peanut butter 2pts
special k bar 2pts

Ok, I threw the choc. chip M&M cookies away!!!!!! I had one during my sons birthday Wed, TWO yesterday and THREE today.....a bad pattern going there...3 of them is 11pts!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so I'm over by 10...but they are in the trash and tomorrow is a new day.
Obviously those are a red light food for me....bad cookies, bad!!
The rest of the day is as follows:
B: yogurt and ww bar 3pts
L: subway and baked lays 11pts
S: cherries 1pt & some of friends corn chips...ok, MOST of them! :( 6pts
D: ff hot dog, corn 4pts
S: 3 cookies 11 pts

Good for you for tossing those bad cookies, aj. And good for you for only having 3!! I hope everyone had a good day. I am looking forward to the holiday weekend, but in a way I am not. We are going to some friends tomorrow for a cookout and to swim. I will probably eat before I go so if I eat there I won't eat so much. Today I had lunch-smartone 6 pts. snack mini chewy sweetarts 4 pts. dinner-lasagna/greenbeans 5 pts. snack-2 cups froot loops and ww choc cake 5 pts. total for the day=20 pts. I rode my bike for 30 minutes around the neighborhood and I rode my stationary bike for 2 miles. Hope everyone has a great weekend and a wonderful July 4th.

What a weird day! I'm not used to working weekends, and I picked up this weekend at the office...was a good day, but came home exhausted! I think I did pretty well pt. wise, just feel blah for some reason, a tired/depressed mood I can't figure out.
B: ww bar 2pts
S: triscuits and cheesestick 3pts
L: ham on flatbread and baked chips 4pts
D: hamburger, corn, potato 12pts
S: root beer float pop(s) 2pts
24pts out of 26... no exercise :(

I think I'll go weigh in on Monday this week, instead of Wed as I'm working Wed due to the holiday. Kinda stinks, as I'll have to pay, and at my meeting I don't as I'm the greeter...but I want to keep myself accountable and not think that I have 2 weeks between weigh ins...so the $ will be for a good cause :)

Hello everyone, I did well today I hope everyone else has a fantastic day. breakfast-2 cups dry oat bran lunch-lasagna/greenbeans dinner-frozen mexican dinner and burrito-12 pts. snack mini chewy sweetarts. Total for the day-24 pts. I cut my grass with a push mower today. It took me 45 min. Have a nice night.
