Libbysmom...

WOW...1 hour and 45 minute workout!!! Congrats!

That's great!
I have
4 children. Christian, a boy is now 14; Devin (boy) is 7; Trinity (girl) is 4; and Gavyn, my angel, will be 2 next month!
Hi all!
Did much better yesterday. I think my new goals and focus are helping. My bloat seems better today! Weigh in is tomorrow and I am dreading it. I SO want another loss, but I know that may not happen.
I walked last night for 40 minutes, 1.6 miles, at a pretty brisk pace, pushing 30 pound toddler in the stroller. It felt so good to walk. The cold wind blowing in my face, the beautiful fall colors of the trees. I really pushed myself hard. When I walked up the hills, I loved the feeling of the burn in the back of my legs and in my butt. The endorphins were really kickin’. I got such a rush and I hope I have time to do it again today. Today is suppose to be my day off however since I have worked out for at least 15 minutes for the last 10 days straight. Isn’t it weird? I don’t wanna take a day off. Devin has his first tournament soccer game tonight at 5:30. By the time we get back home and eat dinner and get into bed...I probably will not feel like working out.
I hope Devin wins. I feel sure they will, they are undefeated, only giving up one goal all season long. But there is always that chance. My neice’s team was #1 for the season and in the first game in the tournament they lost because a little girl knocked the ball into their own goal!!! Anything can happen.
Yesterday was good food wise...I clocked in with 28 points. That is 2 more than my target, so i used 2 flex points. But that is better than it had been…
Here’s yesterdays recap
Points used: 28
flex points remaining for week: 17
workout: walked 1.6 miles, 40 minutes
Steps:
17,276
Yeah...exactly that brings me to the topic of my title.
I think my peometer is a little overzealous. The first 2 days I wore it, I had thought it was a little too easy to get to 10000 steps. There was no effort in it really. I mean I am working out, but 17,000 steps...that equals out to me walking over 7 miles! I fidget alot with my feet and legs, maybe that is causing the high reading...I don’t know...Does anyone have any suggestions for what would cause an overzealous pedometer?
Here are some things I have to feel good about for yesterday…
I stayed very close to my target points only using 2 flex points.
I was asked by a co-worker if I wanted anything from McDonalds...I declined!!!!
I really, really, enjoyed my walk!
Everyone is doing so well. Have a great Thursday!
