  • thanks marcie. well today i did the walk away the pounds video i have to say i really really like it wasnt sure that i would i have another one coming that i won on ebay cant wait to get it i walked 2 times outside just came back from doing it for the last time of the day and i also did my richard simmons no ifs ands or butts. i have alot of toning to do. how is everyone else doing with exercise?

  • Mine is to do 45 min cardio at gym and get in 100 oz of water..I'm only on 20 oz so I need to get going!!
    Angie-Girl I was up 3 lbs on my scale this morning...man...it needs to go way down by Sat. for my WI...I would die if I gained this week!!
  • I am sure it will go down for you by saturday. I sat this morning and talked to my mom forever trying to figure out what went wrong last week other than TOM only thing she could figure was bloat from that and maybe not eating enough to make up for all the exercise i'm getting. so far today i have walked and done the walk away the pounds video not sure what else i want to do today ..

    big hugs I hope your weight is down by saturday anything different for you this week? mom was talking about as a woman how we can fluctuate from day to day up to 5lbs I tell ya its just not fair men lose weight so much easier than women do my dh lost all the weight he needed to just like that and here i am still plugging along course i had alot more to come off than he did but, still grrrrrrr....
  • Well the biggest thing I did this week was the splurge at the restaurant that put me over my flex pts...so there was that....as for you not doing anything different..I think it was just an off week and TOM. I'm sure it was a fluke thing b/c you are doing so well and really working the program the way it should be worked. I'm with your mom also on maybe you didn't get enough to eat with all the exercise? But I guess if you are eating your flex and activity than you are getting the extra food..not to get personal, but do you drink alcohol? That makes me really retain water...with 1 glass of wine I can feel myself swell up. I have to stay away from it before WI.

  • nope dont drink i actually cant remember the last time I had a drink lets see my lil guy will be 2 in march we were ttc for 16 months before i got pg with him so its been a while. not to say that an occassional long island ice tea doesnt sound tempting as of right now nope. yeah i eat all 35 points for the week and my 22 daily pts.

    My dh is off tomorrow must be nice for him he was off a week and a half went back for 2 days and now hes off for 3 days hes off tomorrow for veterans day so will check in with everyone as much as I can. Marcie Ihope you have an awesome weigh in saturday cant wait to hear

    i never figure my activity points should i be doing this? I know you should aim for 28 a week I know i have to be getting that each week. how many of you eat your activity pts and your weekly 35 pts and your daily pts?
  • I thikn I'm really weird. I was so happy to see I was down an extra 3 pounds this week, and what do I do? Eat! Way too much! Does this happen to anyone else?
    I'm happy I lost, but I wish I just "got it", you know?

    just look at today as a brand new day stay on plan get that water in and get some exercise most importantly stay on plan you can do this girl look what you accomplished last way in. you are 18lbs away from your goal you can do it. BIG HUGS have a great day.

  • Molly-Maybe your body needs the extra food to lose??? That is very possible especially if you are working out.

    Angie-I would definitely figure your activity pts with as much as you are eating and I would probably try using some of them so you don't plateu..I eat all of mine every week...but then again look at your stats and look at mine I guess just know that they are there and you can use them if you want to. Since you have picked up the exercise your body may need them!!!

    Hope everyone is having a good Friday..I did my 45 min cardio yesterday and will do my weight training and 30 min cardio today. I was still up 3 lbs on my scale this morning so I am not looking forward to weigh in at all!!! Not sure what is going on other than the one bad day that put me over pts...do you think that could cause me to gain 3 lbs?? Very weird...am drinking all my water and stayed OP so not really sure, but if I did gain I will show my leader my journal tomorrow and see what she says!!

  • well dh bought me 2 2lbs weights to use with my walk away the pounds video for any of you that have walk away the pounds how do you figure your activity pts for it .. the one i have is the high calorie burn its 30 minutes. i'm not used to figuring the activity pts so just curious how you would figure them at the weight i am?

    Ive been around the boards on and off again. My youngest daughter will be 2 on Monday and I just realized that I am 35 pounds more than I was when she turned 1. A few months after she was born I started WW and lost 40 pounds in about 2 months and now it's like Im starting all over. But, atleast this time I know I have done it before and I can do it again and lose even more. I dont go to meetings or online. I have been reading as many posts as I can and you ladies are a great group with some inspiring losses.

    So my first goal is 5 pounds by Thanksgiving since it's only 12 days away! Then it's on to 200 lbs by Christmas!

    that is great welcome to the group this is a great group of ladies and very supportive of one another. jump in . are you doing any type of exercise with your lifestyle change?
    do you have a goal for tomorrow like drinking all your water or exercising for 20-30-40 minutes etc?

    Well WI on Sat. and was down -.6..not too bad I guess considering I was up 3 lbs the day before. Leader told me to try not to eat Activity Points this week and see what happens..sounds good to me. We'll see!! Hopefully I will pull some big numbers this week. Angie-Your WI is soon isn't it? I bet you see a good loss!!
