Bandit2- Is the new journal the little multi pages checkbook type thing? Congrats on the loss!
I moved on Monday. Sis, baby, and I are in a really small town 2 hours from where dh and I live. I came home for a few days before school starts next week.
Had the nasty flu for a couple of days, which helped keep me OP. As of this morning when I got on the scale I am back down to my lowest since dd's birth!! (That reminds me, I better change that!) Now I just have to work hard and keep it off, and slowly but surely lose the rest. I think it will be a little easier, living in a smaller community. The first time I lost weight I was interning in a small town and lost 60lbs in about 5 months. Not much to do but walk!
I also think I will dress for my PE classes (that I am teaching) to motivate me to be more active all day long! I know even just getting ready at school this week I have walked a ton. I wish I had thought to wear my pedometer to school!
How is everyone doing with their challenge?
I don't think I can lose 8lbs in a week, but I will do what I can to get as close as possible to my goal!
Have a great weekend!!!

Hi Saskie:

Yes, the new journal is the one you are speaking of.
Used it all week and it is a real mess. Keep running out of room.
I like to detail my journal so I can look back and go over my good weeks. I think I will use another piece of paper and staple it together.

Anyway, I have my w/i tonight so we will see how it went.

Nice stats, Saskie - keep up the good work.

Hope everyone else is doing well and stays OP.

Bye for now.

Hi - not a good w/i :-(

Was up 1.2# even though I still had 20 flexpoints leftover.
Go figure - only thing I can think is maybe too much diet pop and some KFC (which I counted anyway)

Quite a few other members were up last night as well, so maybe it was just switching programmes - have no idea. Stayed behind at meeting & leader said to give it another week. But I was pretty bummed about it - especially when you think you will have a good w/i and don't - hate that!

Hope everyone else does better - bye for now.

WI last night...I was down 1.8!!! I had a terrible week last week and thought for sure it would show up. I start the new program today. I'm anxious to see how the 35 flex points will affect me. Hope everyone else is doing good....

Bandit2- Thats too bad about the gain I haven't been able to WI in a few weeks, so I am not sure how people are finding the new program here. Are you feeling better about it here?
Congrats on the loss, Shella!
I haven't been following the program at all. I started school this week (CRAZY!) so I take a healthy lunch, eat a healthy breakfast, and don't worry too much about supper- usually it is not so healthy and I am starved all evening so I snack. BUT, as PE teacher I have been walking a lot. I used my pedometer and walked between 7.5 and 10 km each day. Then I walked another 2-3 km in the evenings. When I weighed myself today at home I was still in a good place, even though I had eaten a lot of food already today!! Maybe I have finally gotten maintaining under control!
Although I would like to lose another 10lbs, I would probably be happy if I stayed right where I am at. Or if it takes a year to lose the 10lbs, so be it! I am happy as I am!
Is anyone going to meet their Labour Day Challenge?

Hello everyone, it has been awhile!! I have been so busy at work in my computor, that when I get home, the last thing I want to look at is my computor!!!
I lost half of my Labor Day challenge amount. But, to look on the bright side, I did make sure that I drank my water, and I exercised everyday. That was part of my challenge. I have maintained my weight so far for the month of August. But, last week I gained 1#. That was ok, I ate and ate. My daughter was home from Florida and we went out to eat a few times. I am not use to doing that. And, quite frankly, I didn't consider points when I ate. I had not weighed in the week before because our meeting was cancelled. It just proves to me, how much I need the meetings. I need to HAVE to weigh in. I started the new flexpoints last week. So far so good. I decided not to use any flexpoints, or very little of them the first week to kind of jump start myself. I still have that 10#'s to lose!! Anyway, I started on Thurs. and as of today, have only used 3 flexpoints. I am trying to get use to the new "journal". Everyone is right, it's harder to write things I normally do. I used to write little notes to myself and stuff. Our leader suggested that we get a notebook and keep track of things in there. I may try that. I will let you know how I do on Wed. night when I weigh in.
My husband, (jeeze that sounds weird still) thinks I am fine where I am. It's getting harder and harder to stay on track. But, I need to do this for me! And, I really want to lose this 10#'s that is haunting me!
Have a great week and let's continue a challange. It helps to stay focused and on target. Anyone up for a slimmer Halloween??

Well I came within 3 lbs of my goal. I did exercise more and have finally started drinking water. That alone has made a huge difference. I'm up for a slimmer Halloween, it helps so much knowing you guys are out there going through the same things!!!!!!!!!!I'll start the thread now!
