Hey everyone! How has the week been?
My first day in the city was ok, lots of walking, carrying and bouncing my baby girl...who is not so light! I stayed OP by eating veggy burgers and salads. Yesterday was even more walking and baby wrestling (exhausting!) and I ended up going over my pts a bit.
My goal for right now is to learn to eat near my range. It seems like if I go a pt or two over my range I end up losing control and eating tons of pts over. I need to learn to eat like a healthy person and not lose control like that! So that is my goal. I did ok with it yesterday.
It is sure nice to be home today, it will be nice to eat at home and be able to relax a bit with dd!
What are everyone's plans for the weekend?
Tonight - going to mall with bf and a movie. Staying over at his place tonight since daughter is a girlfriends for an overnight. Then tomorrow a.m. I am going to my trailer which is just north of bf and having a pool/girlfriend day at park. Lots of laying around the deck & pool and sun (I know it is bad for you, but I love it anyway).
Bandit2- Do you get to stay overnight with bf often, or just want your daughter is away? How long have the two of you been dating? Are your girlfriends a bad influence on you, eating-wise?
I have already eaten half of my pts for the day. I know thats not a lot, but I usually eat a lot more in the evening, so it will be hard to stay in my range now! It is totally doable though. I went for a long sweaty walk with some friends and dd today, and also got my 100abs in this morning. That makes everything seem a little better!
There are about 7 weeks left in our challenge. For me that means I need to lose about 1.5lbs per week. Hopefully I can lose a little more than that this week, since I have been so off coarse.
How is everyone else doing with their goals?

I tried to log on yeserday. I had a hard time. The home page is different and I didn't see where the "forums" were. When I tried to log on from there, it said my password was wrong! Any tips?? i logged in today because someone from another thread respnded and I got an email.
After I wrote the other night, I realized that I had made myself weigh more. I was actually at 140.0 (hey, .4 is .4!!!)
I WI on Wed. lost 1.4l bs. I figured out for me to reach my Labor Day goal, I would have to lose 1.4
lbs. a week. How cool was that that I did??!!!!
We bought a new car last Thurs. Tommorow it is going in the shop so they can put the mudflaps on. It's a 2003 Taurus. I love it!! Then we have to go to Tuxedo Junction so that my BF can get fitted for his tux. His daughter is getting married Aug. 2nd.
We have been together for 7+ years, so his daughter is like my own. I know that I am going to blat like a baby when she gets married. I haven't found a dress for me yet.
No plans for Sun. yet.
SaskieMom: I am 5'1" tall and am between small to medium framed. So yes, I am short!
So, "by the book", I should weigh between 109 lbs. and 131 lbs. I figure 125 is fine.

I weighed Thurs. Still at 179. I've not been able to walk like usual this week. I have done better with being OP except for yesterday. I went over!!!!!!!!!! But today was a new day and I've stayed right in my range. I received O magazine in the mail today and it is all about losing weight and keeping it off. I've not read the article yet but if it's worth the read I'll let you guys know. Good luck to everyone this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!
Saskiemom - Been dating my bf for 19 months. We are in process of moving to his house but I am keeping my house & might rent it out in a few months after I see how things are going. Right now we have his house, my house & my trailer on the go. Gets to be alot with the grasss, shopping & general upkeep. His place is on 2-1/2 acres & his business is in the basement of the house. He is building an addition to downstairs offices for himself which will free up another bedroom on the upstairs. If I don't stay at his place on the weekend, then he comes to my place. So, we stay together quite often. Through the week it is easier to just stay at our own places.
As far as the girlfriends two of them were doing WW & jut quit for the summer, but they are being careful with their diets. They are rejoining in Sept. But I am staying with it - too hard to get sidetracked.

I had a good week-end. Went to the bridal shower. I ate a BLT (low fat bread, 2 strips of bacon, lettuce, tomato and fat free mayo) and some "WOW" potato chips before I went. They had lasagna, salad, bread and butter, chips and dip, veggies and dressing, cheese curls, and of course cake. I ate veggies and a little dressing, had a bite (small one) of lasagna, a few cheese curls and of course, cake! I had saved enough points for what I ate. I didn't even have any chips and dip! my favorite!!! The cake tasted sooooo good! There is a reason that I don't eat that stuff. It is way too good and I can't stop once I start. I was/am so proud of myself. Although, I feel guilty about eating the cake. It's such a "no-no" food when you are trying to watch what you eat. I am glad that WW allows you the choice to eat what you want. I just know that for myself, I can't indulge often. Right now, it's all or nothing. It's kinda like the reason I can't have Cheezit's in my house. I would just eat them until I they were gone. I have great willpower, as long as I don't start to eat something. I can say "no thank you". But, once I get a bite, forget it! Well, thanks for letting me own up to that!

Deedee Honey - I sound like you, when I stayed focussed I do really well, but when I overindulge I go waayyy off programme.
I don't do "moderation" very well.
Was really off track starting Fri and continued over the weekend.
Had all kinds of treat-like things & it show on the scale last night.
Was up 2.6#.
On a brighter note - I did my walking tape this morning, ate proper supper last night after meeting and packed my lunch bag with my breakfast & lunch for today.

bandit2- how does your daughter feel about the move?
i am just like you all, when i am in control i am fine, but once i lose it, its all over!
i had wi last night, and gained again. it was a good kick in the butt- i keep thinking i don't have to journal and stick to it, but i have proven that if i don't try i will gain. oh well, i know it will work i just have to stick to it and not take any more "days off"- they tend to spread!
next tuesday i will have good news!!
Saskie - my daughter seems quite excited about it. Our house is the only place she has lived and she has picked out the paint colours for her computer & bedroom and has helped with painting.
Most of her bedroom/computer stuff at home is packed up. Meanwhile, I havent' done much. I don't plan on renting my house for awhile & will move what I need for now. I have alot of clothes/shoes/nick-nacks etc. that have accumulated for 25 yrs in my place.
Anyway, I think she is looking forward to a change & it is only 12 min north of where we are now.
My banana muffins (1.5 each) are really good. Having another right now for breakfast with a yogurt (2 pts) and some pineapple.
Good breakfast for 4 pts.
Brought a chicken burger (4 Pts) and 1/2 pita (1.5 pts) and leftover chicken soup w/pasta (2.5 Pts) for lunch = 8 Pts.
Afternoon snack is 20 baked tostitos (2 pts) with salsa/ff s.c. = .5 pt for 2.5 pts.
WI was Thurs. I was down 1#. I've been doing WW at home, but Tuesday I'm going to start going to the local meetings. I think that will give me the boost I need. What about you guys how many attend the meetings and how many wing it at home? Congrats to the ones that have lost!!!!!!!!!And to the ones that have stayed OP. The tough part for me is coming up....the weekend!!!!!!!!!I have a terrible time staying OP on the weekends.
Bandit2- thats really great that your daughter is excited about the move. Does she get 2 rooms, a bedroom and a ocmputer room? I can't imagine moving all my stuff- and I have only lived here for 2 yrs! I am taking only the bare minimum when dd and I move in August- but we are only moving for 5 months.
I have never been to East Side Marios- is it good?
Shella- I haven't attended a meeting in a long time, I have been working them as a receptionist and since there is only 1 weekly meeting here I didn't have the opportunity to go. But as of this week I am going to attend. I find it very motivating- I love the stars! Way to go on losing a lb!
I was over pts yesterday, but not in a crazy "eat everthing in the house" kind of way- just in a Small Chocolate Extreme Blizzard sort of way. It is my way of learning to eat healthier- only going over pts by 10 or 20 pts, instead of by 50 or 100!!!
I have walked and done my abs every day, so that makes me feel good about myself! Hopefully I can still have at least a tiny loss this week!
Hello everyone. I am having a good weekend. WI on Wed. Lost 1.2 lbs. I was happy with that. I had a hard time on Thursday. Didn't go over my points, but didn't eat too healthy. We are having company for a cook out today. I will make things that are low points for me, and good to everyone else. I am not too worried because I am on my own turf, if you know what I mean! Next Sat. is my step daughter's wedding. That will take some willpower. But, it's a week away and I am not going to worry about it now. My son was admitted to the hospital Fri. night. Very high temp. (105.2). He's almost 19 years old. Had a very bad infected throat. They are sending him to an ENT specialist to get his tonsils out. He was discharged yesterday. Pretty scary! He has had strep and tonsilitis every couple of months for over a year.
Well, things are better now. He is resting. He lives with his Dad not to far away from me.
