Hi there, I'd like to join this thread as well, I am from Winnipeg Manitoba, and need to be accountable to my weight loss. I joined WW online Friday the 4th and lost 4.2lbs my first week. I too have no issues with the exercise part, but struggle with overeating. I work in a hotel chain where we can eat at our restaurants every day for lunch, i have started to bring my own lunch, as I find I cannot make healthy choices! Hope this is ok for me to join

kinda gives me the impression of getting in over my head =p i tried calling them to see if its appropriate for beginners but no phone call back.. So HECK! i'll just go in

I need to NOT eat Pizza and wings for a while. We had it on Saturday...I more than had the points for it...but it makes me retain water for daaaaaaaaaaaaays...the 8lbs I lost when I was sick...came back. And I think it's mostly water weight.

Blaaaaaaaaah...

But...our local gym sells 'tickets' for classes instead of gym memberships...I bought 3 months worth today...I'm excited. I'm going to start next week when we get back from our trip.

Well I managed to say "no" to some peanut butter cups at work today. Someone offered me because they know I love them (I do), but I had enough will power to decline. I guess I could have eaten one, but I wanted to test myself and I passed!

TOM is killing me, I'm so tired and lethargic. And craving chocolate. So I've had a Dairy Milk Thins each day this week so far.

I bought some 5lb. weights today to start strength training, little by little.

Spooky, my husband follows the WW plan as well, although he doesn't go to the meetings, but he and I have some different eating issues, too. It has always amazed me that he just doesn't eat after he finishes his supper! For me, that's always been the cue to start, ha. I am much better now than I used to be, but I still always budget in points to have a night-time snack after supper.

Kimberly, I so feel you on those last 15 lbs! I read somewhere on 3FC - it could have even been you who said it, I don't remember - that losing weight used to be a health imperative. We needed to lose weight to avoid disease and early death. Those are pretty big incentives! Now, we look good, we feel good, our bodies are strong, and it's more of a 'want to lose' over a 'need to lose' - does that make sense? I don't feel like I'm explaining it all that well. And funny, I've had getting another tattoo as one of my milestone rewards but never ended up doing it - I should have gotten it done over the winter when I wasn't in the pool. I guess I'll wait now. What are you thinking of getting?

I'm on Facebook and will send you both Friend requests.

Me, I had a good day. I stayed on plan and went running after work - I am loving the time change and the feel of spring in the air! I ran 3.5 miles and averaged a pace of 9:40. My MP3 player is set on shuffle and the first song that came on was Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' so that set a good tone for the run.

Oh, I just remembered I wanted to comment on the boots thing. I was so frustrated earlier this year when I went shopping for some calf length boots. I couldn't find ANY that fit up over my calves. Seriously, I went to about five shoe stores and attempted to try on dozens of pairs.

I mean, it was annoying but I could understand it when I was at my heaviest when they didn't fit but you'd think by now I would be able to wear them. Nope! I still have legs like tree trunks apparently.

And yeah, I know I could get stretchy or plus size ones but it's the principle of the thing. I so want to be one of those women who could wear an above the knee skirt and have these shapely legs. But I think genetics is working against me, at least on the shapely legs front.

So today is my official weigh in day...and I'm at 285. so I'm 3lbs down from last week so that's good.

We're going away this weekend...so I'm probably going to be off plan. But I'm going to switch my weigh in days to Monday I think and weigh myself a week from this Monday, I start my classes next week. I'm so excited!!
