Default Hope it is not too late!!!!

hi!!! I am hoping that it is not too late to join all you wonderful people on the spring challenge.... I was doing well on weight watchers then I fell off the wagon into a big pile of cookies and there went all my progress. This time I feel is different since I have the full support of my husband and we have extra motivation due to some major changes in our life. I am going to aim at a 20lb loss from now to June 21st.

Hope all of you are doing well!!!

Well, this is day 2 on WW & so far so good. Yesterday I didn't quite get all my water in & was 1 point below my minimum & didn't get any milk products in so need to work on that. I am going to exercise today too. I know that will help. I did get my veggies & fruits in tho. Seems like everyone here is really doing great. Congrats to all of you! And thanks for your support. Have a great afternoon. Openheart 4/12/07
One ? tho - when I want to post daily here, do I just go to my last post & do the quick reply or should I be doing something else??? Also, how do you get your cute little scales showing your starting weight & goal weights posted here??? Thanks!

Good for you openheart. It gets easier to get your daily foods in as time goes by. What you're doing here now is ok or you can start a new thread by using the New Thread button at the top of the page in the WW General section. To get a signature at the bottom of your post you have to go into User CP at the top of the page. Once your there it will direct you through it I think. Try it and let us know how you do.

I weighed in again tonight and lost 3.6 pounds this week Yahhh for me.

Better go for now, DS is screaming his head off for me to help with homework.

to all the new people!

Openheart - you can click on post reply, which is kind of nice because it gives you a chance to view your post before you post it, or you can do quick reply at the bottom. Or do whatever it is that you are doing, because it's working great. Play around a little, it's hard to mess things up. This site is pretty user friendly.

Nibs congrats on the great WI!!

Hi guys! I am trying to decide if I should cancel my monthly pass with WW and just do the online method. I am having trouble getting to meetings and feel I am not really getting any benefit lately. What do the rest of you do?

Yesterday was a stay at home day for me, don't remember when I had the last one. I read the paper and then sat down at the sewing machine and finished up 2 quilting projects. What hobbies does everyone have?

The weiner dog is gone, I was dog sitting for a week for my brother. My house is soooo quiet!

Have a great afternoon.

Hey Liz! I go to meetings, it is the only way I can stay accountable. But if it isn't working for you, then maybe you should try doing it online.

I don't have much time for hobbies! I guess my only hobby is working out (especially running) - never thought I would say that!!!

Hey guys,

I need a hobby like yours CharityKB. That is my new goal. To say my hobby is exercising. I want to become a daily exerciser and I will accomplish that goal soon hopefully. Going to aim to start that tonight when I get home.

Congrats on the 2.2 pounds boaterswife....WOOHOO!!!!

Kelly - Congrats on the great loss!!

Liz - I also go to the meetings for the accountability, but if it's not working for you, switch and try online. You can always go back to meetings if you decided you don't need like it.

I used to have lot's of hobbies, but lately I haven't had time, or money. I love to scrapbook, knit and crochet. I also love to read. Right now I'm rereading the Harry Potter series, but when I'm done, I think that I'm going to read some of the classics that I didn't have to in school. Like Where the Red Fern Grows, and Little Women. I would like to learn how to sew, and my mom says that she'll teach me. Now I just have to find the time.

I love the Harry Potter books! I was thinking of rereading the last couple before the new one comes out. It has been a while and I can't remember everything that happens. I also like to read, I just don't have enough time for it (outside of the reading I have to do for my dissertation).

Thanks for all the good vibes, everyone!

I attend the meetings and do the monthly pass. It keeps me accountable and I know my weigh ins are accurate. I don't own a scale, and have no intention of purchasing one, so with the meetings I find out weekly how I've done. I also feel I need that personal contact of the meetings to help me be successful. Have you tried going to a different meeting? I know that there are several leaders at my location, and two of them I don't care for AT ALL...so much so in fact that if they're filling in for some reason, I'll weigh and leave, not even staying for the meeting.

Hobbies? Hmmmm, I do love to read, but you gotta find time for it just like any other hobby. I guess right now my kiddos are my hobby, but as they're getting older (17 and almost 15 now) I am reclaiming some time for myself. The time I taking back though is pretty much all used up on exercise! Wow, who would've ever thought it????

Keep up the good work, everyone, we're ALL going to make our goals....I'm sure of it!!
