Su-Bee- Buy some lifting gloves! They make a world of difference. And some days you are just more tired. Hormones, what you ate, your mood...everything affects your workout.

I have asked for lifting gloves for Christmas. Who would ever have thought I would need such a thing!

There's a few fitness things on my Christmas list too

I'm being a bit of a schlump here before supper. Oh I'll get at my legs at some point today but .... for now a little breather won't hurt.

I did sorta ... I just was feeling so wierd after waiting all day to do them. I couldn't get into the groove ... I did about 15 minutes and then went for a walk/jog ... heavy on the jog (for a change).

They're weary this morning but ... I guess it was better than skipping the whole thing.

Perimenopausal sleep patterns!

It just about took a winch to get me off the couch this evening but now I'm glad I did. 40 minutes of walk/jog. Now I'm honestly, physically tired ... instead of the pi$$ed off exhausted I was when I got home from work.

LOL - yeah, you want to get rid of that feeling as soon as possible! I got in an ubwo and 30 mins cardio tonite. My left shoulder is acting up yet again, even though I'm doing my front & lateral lifts like a thumb on a beer can. Not sure what is up, I might need to just go to overhead presses or something instead.

Tonight - I spent about 25 minutes on the row machine and 15 on the stepper - worked my upperbody - but I think I may have pushed it too hard - normally I don't feel it until the next morning - but tonight I am already feeling it and it is not the good kind of sore that I normally feel.... off to take some tylenol and a hot shower........

Good Morning!
It's pretty important to learn the difference between the kind of aches we get. Good for you Penney. I think we especially need to be mindful this time of year when stress is a factor too. Our minds wander and so does our form.

Thanks Susan - and you hit it right on the button... I was very agitated when I went and worked out yesterday. Today - I was still feeling pretty sore - so I just stretched and did a bit of cardio. Tomorrow - back on track!

Have a great day everyone!!!

Skid skid ... is there a smiley for the sound of squealing tires?

I am seriously not sure what happened the last couple of days, but it has to stop!

I think I have today sorted out. The kids are all coming tomorrow, so the house needs work, I need to wrap and get some groceries. I should be able to calmly go about all that and slip in a nice walk/jog at least once.

Here's to planning!
