Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

May 29

Matthew 21:21
Jesus answered and said unto them, 'Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;' it shall be done.'

Most people like to feel they are in control of their lives. When they are manipulated or made to feel helpless, they rebel and fight with everything they can. Funny how many of the same people are people who refuse to be ruled by their passions. They ask themselves, 'What would Jesus have me do and be?' rather than leaping into situations without any forethought. Christ should be the only Ruler of our lives, and when we turn all power over to Him, miraculous things begin to happen.

Today's thought: The same power that withers figs can wither fat!

Hello everyone! I didn't make it yesterday for check-in.
It was so hot and once my husband got home we
worked together to get the aircondiioner in the upstairs
window. Good thing we did, someone from behind our
building was chainsmoking so our window had to be
and the window might have been needed worse had the
ac not been brought up.

Yesterday - Thursday
- Breakfast 3/4c frozen blackberries, 1/4c greek yogurt
Snacks- mixed nuts, didn't count and think I over did. Celery sticks
Lunch- frozen bean and cheese burrito 350cal , celery sticks.
Dinner- same burrito as lunch, cooked them when it was cooler.
My day was carb heavy and all my fitness was hand weights.
Unless I count struggling to pull that AC around. lol

Rachel and Nancy, with my know gelatin, I've gotten used to throwing it drinks when wet food wasn't in my plan. Started using is sometimes
when I had my hysterectomy. The bone health in women over 40ish declines and it is excellent in both the bones and connective tissues, as well as beauty parts of us too. Much more affordable over the price of collagen powders. Many don't last long and they cost a lot.
-----

Friday
Today- Breakfast 1 svg mixed nuts, 3/4c fresh pineapple
Lunch- open source granola bar
Dinner- sechaun chicken dish from Safeway Select with fried cabbage, cabbage roll
Snack- coconut water about 4oz.

Will finish the food log later, on my way to have my walk. have
a lovely afternoon and weekend everyone.

returned to finish - walk 20,000+ steps with wii wio game.
Hand weights. Will try to swing the kettle bell tonite.

Hello all!

Two days ago: forgot that after lunch, I had a square of chocolate and 3 marshmallows, oops

yesterday:
Breakfast: yogurt w/ lemon curd and muesli
Lunch: curried lentils and brown rice, watermelon smoothie, some candy
Dinner: handful of chips and salsa, grilled cheese w/ pesto and tomato, pineapple and chocolate hummus, sorbet
Snack: cereal
Exercise: none, wasn't feeling too great

Today:
Breakfast: cereal
Lunch: curried lentils and brown rice, watermelon smoothie, yogurt
Dinner (planned): salad, garden vegetable primavera, cheese
Exercise: 75 min massage, conditioning, ballet, stretching

Teri, that firefly show sounds lovely!
nancy, how frustrating to watch the scale go up and up for no apparent reason. I've had those times too, and it's just frustrating.
Desire2B, I hear you on the AC unit... my husband and I have to get one of those soon too.

Good Evening.

I biked this am, but no walking tonight. It is raining outside. I did fill a bushel with weeds this afternoon...until the sun came out. Diet still a problem: cookies and ice cream. I am up 2 pounds. I had almost reached my months goal. I guess I will have to repeat this goal for another month...(It is Mcdonald's fault for discontinuing their mini-sundae!) Gee, I wish I was not so easily thrown off the weight loss path...

I have lots of iris blooming at present. You flower lovers would appreciate them. I have too much of some colors and not enough of others, and some are crammed. Some are tall and some are short.
