Default Evening

1247 cal in versus goal of 1200 or less.
(It would have been less, but I had forgotten to log a mango)

Why do I sometimes see a picture of cheesecake on an ad on 3FC?

Back was so much better today that I did not even stand up crooked at work!
Yay! I have been crooked for more than a month and voila- not crooked.

Knee a little better- still can't straighten it. Did make an appointment for my GP about it.

Anybody have a good recipe for egg foo young? I made it for the first time myself tonight from an all recipes recipe and it was not very good.

Ciecie- thanks for the kind words and way to go on the power walking.

Nancylmrn- thanks for the congrats . Cool that you pushed yourself so hard.

Rachel-so we feel the same way about animals. I started looking up vegetarian food with more iron-- as now that I am tracking, see that is low.

Emily-sorry about the stress. Thanks for the kind words. Just looked up LIIFT . Looks like a really good and hard workout. Interested in how you like it.

Realiser- Thanks! Notre Dame very sad. I was there years ago. It was awesome. Really is a treasure- of France and the world.

Syckgirl-you are inspiring me to wash my own car this weekend. And of course nothing explains the water gain! It is pretty cool though how our body regulates sodium. Just wish it was more predictable

Have a good night.

Hi!

Realiser: Notre Dame, c'est tres triste. Je n'ai pas visite a Paris, mais j'ai visite Notre Dame a Montreal. C'est tres grand et tres jolie. (Notre Dame, it is very sad. I did not visit Paris, but I visited Notre Dame in Montreal. It is very big and very beautiful.)

Emily: Hope it goes great. A new home!

Sckgirl: I noticed that the price of the car wash here has gone up, too (the last time I got it washed.)

Zallie, when I had knee problems, I could not bend it. You do not want to let that go. One time I rehabbed in the pool, the second time with a physical therapist. My friends said not to let it stay frozen

Hi CieCie, power girl...I do a powerless walk...but I do it.

Hello Diana, Nancy, GranNan, Wkend Boater and anyone else I missed...

I stayed inside today. The weather was cold and rainy, so my seedlings stayed inside, too.

DID-ITs:

1) I used the food mover this am. I ate too much junk food: frappe, chocolates, 1/2 c chocolate milk, cookies...I ate lots of fruits and vegetables.

2) I bicycled inside. I also sat on a stability ball (good for the back) while I watched tv. I did neck and shoulder exercises.

3) I played a lot with my cat. I sorted newspapers.

TODO:

1) Alter food mover. (add goals.) Use food mover.

2) Exercise.

3) Put seedlings outdoors.

4) Health insurance.

hey everyone! I did 30 minutes of cardio after work Probably the difference in how much I used to lose and now is that I used to do much more cardio and of course, age. So I'm planning to do it MWF and still lift weights on the weekend. Maybe throw a walk in with DH Tuesday or Thursday.

I am going to go play PS4 for a little while, but dinner was a grilled pork chop and steamed zucchini w/melted mozzarella. That's it. Nothing else until breakfast. We will see what happens on that crazy *** scale!

you all have a great night!!!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

April 16

James 1:3
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

When you get really serious about losing weight, you have no alternative but to develop patience. There are no safe, quick ways to lose a lot of weight. It takes time. The body takes a long time to build up, and it takes a long time to wear down. However, the person who sticks with her diet will be amazed to find that the longer it's adhered to, the easier it gets. A time comes when the diet is no big deal. In many cases, people find they prefer their diet to their former way of eating. Patience is an elusive trait, but once it is attained, it is its own reward.

Today's thought: Patience would be a lot easier if it didn't take so long to get.

1359 cal -was over the 1200 plan

Today 500 cal or less

Diana- liked the words of wisdom today. Dare I say it and jinx it? But my cravings have been not as bad as they were. Know in an instant that could change and I could go to the dark side. Vigilance!!

Good morning to all!
Excited to share.........155.6 my 15lb loss mark....This was my goal to reach before my trip on May 26th and I have reached it with over a month to go....New goal 150.0 before I leave. This will really push me.
Today at the gym I did not workout near as hard as yesterday, I just ran out of steam so I did some alternative exercises. Only 25 min on the elliptical, then some inner/outter thigh work then torso work. My guilty pleasure was the hydro massage before hitting the shower.
Todays meals are planned and if I stick to my numbers I should see the same weight or close to it tomorrow for weigh in.

Diana todays devotion really hit home for me.

Must do some work this morning but will be back this afternoon for personals that are long overdue.....Did I tell you lately this group and thread are beyond terriffic? Keep being awesome

Hi everyone. So proud of everyone - some wonderful losses and hard work.

I'm holding steady, but loss is very slow. I got something natural to help with my anxiety. It's been a tough couple of weeks. Proud that I haven't really eaten off plan at all. Perhaps a bit too much dairy, but calories have been fine. Must get my mood up to do some exercise. Or the other way round, ironically!

morning!

would you believe that I am only down .2 today, after all of that good eating and exercise? OF COURSE LOL

today's menu:
b- veggie scramble (egg sub, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow spring onions, shredded mozzarella, hot sauce)
s - I did not bring a snack, as lunch will have a good amount of sodium and calories (I do have some nuts here if necessary, but I waited until 10 am to eat breakfast on purpose)
l - Omaha crock pot white chicken chili (DH made yesterday, didn't want to have the sodium last night! I measured out an exact serving size of 1 cup)
d - TBD
I will see if DH wants to go for a walk after work...it's cloudy today and cold the high is going to be 63
