Diana - Glad you were not as jittery though you have to figure which it was ..........

Well I got more done. Lawn cut and bagged (dead weeds, Bermuda is not in yet) , 17,088 steps, shrubs trimmed, pre emergent distributed, and a bunch of holes dug for using as blanks for dog training with the goal after my test of planting paw paw seeds in them.

Default Evening

1652 cals today including dinner out and cheesecake.

What was amazing was that I actually was too full to finish my dinner. That is unusual, as I am a bottomless pit usually. Maybe it was the meal- Wat tan hor.
If so I want to learn to make it myself. Found a recipe for it.

Well I made the week's goal of under 1200.
1106 avg for the week.
My weight today was 5lb less than last Monday, but I expect it was artificially low today due to the exercise.
With the calories today, and the salt in the dinner dish, expect it will go up tomorrow for what I consider my "official" weekly weigh in.

Rachel down 2 lbs yay!!!

ok, I did so good yesterday and t h en decided a small low carb late meal was OK since I did so.well going out to eat but that turned into a binge of 2600 calories for the day...

i.weigh 185.4 with extra food...so depressing...going to bed

Default Good morning

Nancyimrn, welcome back and so glad you had a nice trip!

Zallie, You are doing wonderfully!

Met yesterday's goals except had some jelly beans which interfered with my veggie intake. Weekly average was 1176 so I'm happy with that.

Today's goals: fiber, 2 liters water, 1200 calories.

Hi all
I am thinking of you but am unable to post at this time. Just know I am thinking of you. I will be going to Boston for a couple of days. So I will not be posting from there either. I will only have my laptop. IDK what my calories were today. Just guessing at 1100

Hoping you have a great Monday!!

Default Week 3 results

157.6

That is a ~4 lbs loss for the week. 13 lbs down since March 1 high of 170 by averaging less than 1200 cal per week. No change in exercise.

You folks have helped sooooo much.

It is a journey that I have been trying to do this for years. Nowhere near there yet, but it is a start.

Thank you for all the support.

Same goal 1200 avg for week. Today 1700 cal.
Dinner out again. Will have to get back down tomorrow.

Flower- 1100 cals- nice job!

Good Morning, Everyone!

Flower My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jen I pray you are feeling better today.

Zallie Congrats on the loss!

Last night: Full body stretch and some exercises from the Dr.
This Morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1415 +
Weigh In: 187.8
Down: .4

Have a Blessed day and a great start to your week!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

March 25

Exodus 33:14
And he said, 'My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.'

The most effective diets are those with planned 'cheating' in them. Just as the children of Israel set aside a day for fasting from their daily bread, Christian dieters should set aside a day to indulge in the foods they enjoy. This makes the dieter more thankful for the special treats, as well as making the diet much more tolerable. It gives us something to look forward to, and it erases guilt from the process. We all need rest, and we will find new strength and courage when we break our diet fast occasionally.

Today's thought: Even dieters deserve a day off.

Good Morning 133.8 Bump up. Strange. BP 117/78

Yesterday was a good PF, 1540 in 2213 out, 17,377 steps so I figured it would push me down a bit more

Maybe that work cutting grass, trimming shrubs, and digging holes did some upper body muscle stuff. I know muscles = inflammation = water retention.

Zallie - you are ROCKING IT!
Flower - Hope you Boston is good if you can get on. I figure time away is good to get away from the computer. Don't EVEN know if there is a 3FC mobile edition.
Rachel - Glad you net goal though confused how jelly beans messed with veggie intake
Jendiet - Will say extra prayers for you. You can't beat yourself up because what is done is done. Just look forward even if it is "making it" from one meal to the next is your only goal.

Granny, Hah! I guess that did sound funny about the jelly beans!! I ate some jelly beans while I was playing scrabble and for some reason it kind of "dulled" my desire for a nice big salad for supper, as I usually would have had. I guess I ruined my appetite?

Granny, yes THAT IS IT... my goal is literally making it to the next meal because I woke up to you 184.0 and that is hard to swallow, but not impossible to beat..."with God all things are possible" so I have been eating too much. I like to eat too much. I'm a glutton. I need help...

so I'm fasting doing only liquids until dinner for the rest of this week....God give me strength

I'm doing this to be delivered of gluttony..
I know the fasting makes me not as hungry so...hopefully it will break this overeating trend creeping back up

Flower, will be thinking of you. Hope your mom is doing better.

Zallie, awesome on the weight loss!!

Diana, you had another loss and good devotional.
Rachel, I am sure the sweet only made you want sweets. I totally get that...

well, I got the bulbs in yesterday, and will do some seeding of a shade mixture in one area and a sun/butterfly mix in another area...all perennials...hope everything takes. .

I did get 12,892 steps yesterday...I'm worn out today...and I didn't get an hour of deep sleep yesterday..

Jendiet - the one thing that has really really helped me is the planning. I know with kids you find yourself at fast food etc. Even just making up IN ADVANCE a "THIS is what I will eat at this place" list might help and then that means NOT finishing off their food but trashing what they leave behind which is hard, but you are not the trash can. It took me a long time to establish the habit of daily planning ahead but of all things, it has helped me the most. Then I commit that day my menu. You can commit your choices to God and ask for his help. The other thing that helped is the phrase "hunger is not an emergency". Fasting was not something that ever worked for me other than the 16:8 daily fast but we are all different.
