Thank you for the warm welcome! Sounds like everyone is doing well - that's awesome. My scale showed 144 or 143 this morning so that's good. It's not the most precise scale but as long as the number keeps heading down, it's good enough.

Well done MelodicWarrior, glad your first week has gone okay. It's great to be able to start fitting into smaller clothes again!

Great news Cattails - your numbers are coming down nicely!

After getting back on track this week, I'm at 143 this morning - haven't been there for a long time! I relax my eating a bit on Saturday and Sunday nights, so I'm prepared for a bit of a gain before I start losing again. Planning to do lots of gardening today, so hopefully that'll help.

Have a great weekend!

Hope everyone's weekend was fun! We didn't do much here, husband barbecued some chicken and grilled zucchini which was very good. MIL made a pasta salad, for the first time without gobs of mayo. She's on WWs for the umpteenth time, trying to lose quite a bit of weight that's been piling on. And she has finally started to see some progress: 5.9 lbs lost! Yay for Eleanor.

My weight is down to 142 two days in a row and that makes me very happy. We are going to see those 130's very soon, right ladies? Let's break outta this decade and start a new thread!

Well done both of you, that's great work! I feel stuck around 144 - have had a lot of days off this month (and it's my TOM now so feel really bloated). Will be back on track in a few days.

Well, my weight has done nothing but go up for the last two weeks, and I'm SO discouraged. It's now 145.6 and I don't understand how this is happening. I could swear I've been eating the same as normal--could I not notice an extra 1000 calories a day?? I don't feel good when I eat that much! There's no way I've done it every single day for two weeks. I'm just so, so incredibly discouraged.

141 this morning but I ate more than I usually do yesterday so that might not hold. Today was better.

Good going, Melodic! Little by little, we will get down to healthy weights, all of us.

Tesni, I'm sure you will have a whoosh coming any moment now. Keep on track and you'll get results.

Princessroja, I'm sorry you're seeing increases right now, that is discouraging. I lost over 70 lbs. a few years ago and found that I had to keep making little tweaks along the way to keep things going, like only a small sprinkle of sunflower seeds OR a few chopped olives on my daily salad, not both. A wedge of avocado OR chopped chicken, not both. Little things like that. Maybe something high calorie is sneaking in? Just a thought. I hope you see some results very, very soon, you've made a lot of progress from your starting weight!

Well done Cattails! (You were right, I've suddenly dropped down to 143.25 this morning - can't believe it! The bloated feeling has gone, so must have been TOM.)

Have a good weekend everyone.

A 141.2 lbs this morning (141 yesterday), so I have been maintaining. Hoping to hit the 140 mark by next week. Congrats on the losses Tesni and Cattails!

Princessroja: I know how you feel. I had been going up and down since January and couldn't understand why as well. Finally I decided to calorie count for a little while just to make sure I know what I am eating, and where I was consuming more since I was eating healthy (I was snacking a little too much on my part and had to cut down or replace what I was eating with something with more sustenance). Also I have stepped up weight training. So far, that's worked for me. I know you'll figure it out and things will start trending downwards again for you soon. Don't give up!!

Hit 139.8lbs this morning. Still very close to the 140s so not out of the woods yet but looking forward to jumping to the 130s. How is your week going?

Thank you Tesni and congrats on the loss as well! Yes I was pretty excited this morning. It's gonna be hard to maintain though since I have a lot.of outings planned this week but gonna try and eat healthy as much as I can

Tesni and MelodicWarrior, awesome to hear your numbers are dropping - 139.8, whoo-hoo! This morning my scale showed 140, yay! Also too close to say good-bye to this page yet, but we'll be in that place soon.

Today my husband and I went into town and he wanted to go to a Chinese restaurant that serves everything in loads of sauce; I suggested another place where we both had steak and grilled veggies, yum! I'm sure I saved myself (and him!) from about a billion extra calories.

Here's hoping everyone has a great finish to the week.
