So to make a (very) long story short, I've got some new motivation for weight loss, and this is how it came about. When I moved north a few years back to marry my darling hubby, I left a lot of professional opportunities behind, including the dance collective I was dancing with. I really haven't had any opportunities to perform since I've been up here (maybe twice in three years, if that, lol), but I always figured that at some point I would start performing again. Well, it looks like that time has come rather sooner than expected--I've got two totally separate things that have cropped up, including one that should be long-term, and I'd love to be in my best possible shape now that it looks like I'll be performing regularly again. So excited!
