Diana Ah, you got me! You just asked the million dollar question. I am embarrassed to say that I have a 13 yard rectangular pool in my back yard that DH keeps sparking blue all year round. It's perfect for swimming laps. So, you see, I have no excuse for not swimming.

back from church...Costco next! Today's sermon was amazing, as it usually is, but it was an extra special blessing today in my opinion

So breakfast was this:
piece of ham steak with reduced fat jack cheese melted, a slice of turkey bacon, and lettuce all on top (and mustard!)

I'm hungry! need to figure out lunch but had 5 cashew nut clusters for now. I want a salad of some sort. Back later!

Thumbs up An hour at a time..

this is my first attempt in a long time to commit and take action with an eating plan...I reported the first part of the day~~
H20 - 1 quart

lunch 1 cup cooked quinoa and sautéed vegetables

snack
-Wild garden snack pack pita and hummus - 210 calories, this is after my bf and father had iced coffees and donuts in a coffee shop while I sat across and watched..not really interested.

12 cherries, half an orange, 3 large strawberries

We went food shopping and picked out raw almonds to bring to work for a snack tomorrow, and the usually healthy stuff.

I registered for spin class tomorrow that starts at 5:45a, which i do three times a week, if you don't register exactly two days in advance to the minute, you will not get into the class.

O.k., a few more hours left today and i will be in bed..

I could use a calorie tool or something..if anyone reads this please let me know what and where to find this on the website?

hey everybody! back from Costco and got my kale salad and chopped rotisserie chicken only had a few samples and of course bought three of the sampled items - some organic coffee (they had someone there grinding it and we've been talking about getting organic since there are way too many chemicals involved in non-organic coffee, sadly), some angus burgers, and some aged cheddar from Australia. I also got frozen organic chicken breasts (they are amazing and they haven't had them in a while so I've been buying fresh) that are individually packaged. Few other things, too. Good stuff

I am going to go to the gym for a little cardio here pretty soon...haven't had lunch, though. Might just have some chicken or something. See ya

Hello there Elizanh and

On the computer, there are several options.
Some folks use "my fitness pal" to keep track of their calorie intake,
others use "lose it." I use lose it. If you choose this one - we can connect on that page as well.

Here are links to both -- I hope this helps. It sounds like you are having a strong start to your plan...

Magistra - I just finished episode 3. Boy this moves quickly. I don't want to spoil anything, in case others haven't watched ... I'll just say -- I like the redhead WAYYYY better than the others. I look forward to seeing how this all plays out. Are they in the 2nd season presently??

ENJOY the rest of the day - Misti ... I plan to read your comment on the other thread.

Note not sure why the middle shows as the letters... in my message there is NO space between the letters.. but you get the point

Elizanh, welcome to the group and good luck with your goals! I use Lose It as well.

I made it through my work weekend without overeating! That makes one week on plan. Maybe it's for real this time. The late night OA phone meeting has been good and actually helps me relax enough to fall asleep after. I don't peep a word myself though.

Diana, the freethinkers OA group doesn't seem to be active. I get a daily reading forwarded each morning, but no discussion. Awwww well.
