Still stuck, bouncing between 160 and 162 range. I have been VERY good, and hope this moves soon!!! I am ready for the next stage, and goodness knows I have worked hard enough for it!!!
I started Couch to 5k last week, so hoping that that will help out! Anyone want to share their experiences on Ct5k?
Stuck in 165.
But keep goin. Uffff I was fully motivated last week, now I miss my strenght and motivation that I had in the begining. Have to mention that in 3-4 days I'll gonna get my period so maybe it's only hormonal disbalance. :/
Feeling bloated like a frog. Also haven't been in toilet fairly for few days (except peeing) :/
Hi Redstilleto, wellcome
I am new here as well, and find this forum very useful and motivated. You're doing a great job.... Stick to it, sending you positive vibes
This is hard for me because I have never discussed my weight openly or joined any groups. Putting my weight stats on here was extremely difficult because I haven't told my weight to anyone in about 3 years, not even my husband.
I have let myself go and it got to the point I hated going any where because it would take me hours to figure out what I could squeeze my body in to that would look half way decent.
I am determined to improve myself and feel good when I walk out my door. I started about a month ago and have made small progress that motivates me more.
I know I will have days that I won't want to crawl out of bed and greet the world, so I am hoping this site can help to not feel so alone in my struggle. I am a great cheer leader for others, but seem to fail myself and hoping that changes.
Looking forward to being in this forum with you and all the others!

I could have written this. It was a few years ago when I had some medical problems that I was asked how much I weighed and had to answer in front of my husband who was sitting right there. I could tell by the look on his face that he was surprised, but nothing was said. It has become easier for me now to say the number.
I can also remember worrying about what I was going to wear to functions. Now I make sure to have some clothes in the right size, no matter what the number is on the size tag. It's better to look nice at whatever size you are, than to look as though you are squeezed into something too small.
Really, no one else is noticing. It's all about the way you feel about yourself.

Hi, I’m not in this group yet but I hope to be soon. Anyway, I did use the Ct5K app before and the hubs is right now using Ct10K. I was never a runner beforehand but I used the app and completed a 5k and I started training for a 10k. I think you’ll really like the program. It’s super cool and very empowering. Hubs really loves the program, he’s doing well and he ran five miles today. Go for it!!!
Thanks for the encouragement, ThemeIwant2be! I was travelling and then came back with a cold, so a bit of a pause in the program, but hopefully will feel well enough to start again tomorrow!
Welcome to the group, RedStiletto! It can be hard to write those numbers, but this is a safe, anonymous space where you'll find people in the same boat! Very helpful.
After travelling for a wedding last weekend, I came back at 165, which was a shock after all of my progress! So slow to come off, so quick to pile on! Anyhow, have been good this week, despite dealing with a cold, and back to 162.4 today. Can I please whoosh this week, since I am going out of town on Saturday and would love to have finally broken the 160s for good? My body has been starting to change, and I feel like with another few pounds gone, the difference in how I look will be quite significant. Time to let go, body!
Hey everyone! Not new here been around for awhile. Gained a lot of my weight back so now I'm trying to re-lose it before I gain the rest of it back. Getting back on track is the hardest. Today is Day 3 I started back out in the 170's but dropped pretty fast back down to 167.4 this morning. (My guess is water weight) I'm calorie counting and exercising (3x per week for atleast 20 minutes) trying something realistic to try to ensure I can maintain it. I hope we all get out of the 160's quickly! I miss wearing my jeans
nichols Congrats on your huge whoosh!! That is awesome! I hope to be in this thread before you are to the next one! What range do you try to keep your calories under? I forgot to say in this in the 170's thread, but it is really awesome that you are making this change now instead of waiting. In the past I always would gain everything I had lost back, plus some.
I'm at 169.2 this morning. I anticipate being in the 160s until at least late January. I tell you, the patience thing is the hardest part about weight loss for me. But without it, I know exactly where I'll be (and it ain't thin).
Nichols: I saw your post in the 170s thread, but figured I'd reply to you here. Congrats on the big whoosh! And good job catching the regain before it went any further!
Thanks everyone! The last time I did this I checked my weight every day and became pretty obsessed with it. So for right now I'm going to check it every other day and see how that goes. I'm using My Fitness Pal and eating around 1200 calories per day depending on my exercise. I hope to see yall in here fast!
